Maria checked us in, seated us in a corner booth and took our order. The dining room was well kept and it was quieter in the restaurant. We knew what we wanted and everything was served hot and was delicious. We appreciated the fast service although, we were in no rush. We were on vacation and very much in vacation mode. To me, it felt a bit oily and did not have very much flavor. The sweet potato fries, on the other hand, were literally out of this world. They were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. They had a great flavor too. They paired perfectly with their fresh and light ranch. The portion was quite large and on the affordable side. The server came by frequently to check on us and provide refills despite it being very busy and bustling. They were doing a fantastic job as they were practically running around to serve all the tables. My Garden Cafe looks like a very local mom and pop type of cafe despite having multiple locations throughout the valley. It is casual and very homey. The decor is super adorable and looks like a Hobby Lobby exploded inside of there. Despite being quite small, there is a ton of seating. Not long after, a gentleman came out with the food (I believe he is the other owner) and it looked amazing! The plate was loaded, it came with two perfectly cooked eggs on top and an aioli drizzle that was so tasty. On top of all this, the meal included one of their scratch made biscuits, and the owner/chef gave me some of their gravy to try, on the house! Both the corned beef hash and the biscuit were hands down the best I've ever had. The breakfast potatoes were also cooked to perfection. The portion was almost enough for two people it was so generous. The only thing that would have made the experience 110% would have been fresh squeezed orange juice, but that's just cause I love fresh OJ. And I enjoy the live music being played. It's just such a tight confined little place. And you have to yell to talk to one another therefore everybody else here's your conversation. This is not a good place to go on a date or to get to know somebody over conversation. That's why you have Galletto's or Tresetti's down the street. But if you wanna go and have a quick breakfast, then this is the place. Though wait waitresses are always very, very nice. And the prices are great.
