I used to think that they have the best and affordable breakfast. I treated my friend as a thank you for all her help but I've changed my mind. I ordered a French Toast with 2 eggs, and 1 bacon 1 sausage. I asked the eggs to be cooked over medium and they were runny. Waitress took them back to fix them. Returned them burnt! I couldn't even cut the white. Yes the cook could do better but so could the waitress. The waitress should always check the plate to make sure it's cooked and looks presentable. read more

I don't know the name of the waiter I had, but it was a young guy, dirty blonde hair. He kept flirting with my friend while he took our order and leaning into the table in an inappropriate way. Brought out our drinks and left before we could even say we wanted to order. I get they are busy, but he wasn't very well mannered. We finished the food pretty quick, food was good. Like halfway through the meal as I'm drinking my water SOMETHING (literally do not know what it was) came through the straw and it was super gross. Waited and WAITED for our waiter to come back to order a new water and he just never came back. Ok so normally I have a good experience but this review is only based on this experience today. This feedback is specifically for the manager. If he wants to run a successful business this review might help. So we are waiting to be seated and the tables across from us are empty and have been empty for the last 15 minutes and only needed to be clean. The manager is at the front looking at them and not lifting a finger. They only have one buss boy which I understand can be hard to keep up. However, if I was that manager I would be helping to get he tables cleared. Not to mention having one of my hostess do some of the work. Poor service, bad attitude. I saw the manager (Julie) pick up the phone because it was ringing and placed it on the counter without answering it. If you can't handle your job as manager you should step aside and let someone more qualified do the job right. I placed my order through the app. You had me waiting more the the 10 minutes I was told to wait. After 20 minutes I go inside and you looked at me at if you didn't give a .... I understand that we're in a pandemic and it makes the situation challenging. I wish I could be less severe in my rating, given the situation, but I can't. I wish I could give zero stars. So, this Denny's advertises they have children special. Everyday kids are free. They advertise that they have online ordering. When we tried to order online, the app wouldn't work. It didn't recognize our order and we had to ultimately call. When we called, the queue was so long to get help. When we finally spoke to someone she was in such a hurry to get our order that she got it wrong. Then we couldn't even apply the child discount. When we got to the store, the line was out the door. When we paid for our order, we were told 15-20 minutes. 45 minutes later were still waiting and the line is even longer than before. The excuse was they can't keep up with all the orders online, on the phone, and now in person. After 2 hours of waiting, my husband finally demanded that he be reimbursed for his order since it was atrocious. They suddenly screamed out his order and magically the order manifested. The staff should have given a reimbursement for the terrible wait - for eggs and bacon. So much for breakfast! Again, if you're going to advertise these specials, then be ready for the rush. This is poor management. This represents only one example as to why this establishment is NOT ready to reopen. Fail Denny's! Get your act together. Your food is mediocre. Your service is awful. I will tell everyone I know that you are awful. Would highly recommend you pay the extra money for IHOP. Denny's Rancho Cucamonga, you suck and I will never visit your establishment ever again. Came here on Sunday lunch time and expected a long wait, we were told about a 10 minute wait and got seated within 5 minutes. We got our food super quick and really great service by Gabriela. The fact that Dennys is open 24 hours is a great bonus. Sometimes you want food at all times of the day or night but don't want to cook. You can also take your whole family here without breaking the bank. There is nothing overly unique about the food served here but it tastes good. Service is hit and miss. I've found that service is not so good when they are understaffed and the crowds are high. But at off hours they are very attentive. read more

I have been to this location twice in the last two weeks. First time I walked in the front door and met by a white haired woman. She said how many, I said to go she walked away rudely and said they'll be with you. Then I came in this past week and got the same woman. She took my order waiting for something more. It never came. Normally when I go to this Denny's I'm happy. Today I was not. My son and I went there to eat hoping for a peaceful breakfast. When we got there it was fine. We get seated and they're playing loud music in the back area where they prepare the food, which is where we receive it next to. I asked a waitress could they turn it off, she actually have the audacity to tell me we can turn it down but not off. This is totally unprofessional and offensive. What kind of customer service is this?. This is not what I deem to be a good dining experience. So we had to ask could we be moved. Our server was gracious as was the host at the front, trying to get us moved. Our server was excellent we had absolutely no problems with him. Then right before they move us after they had turned down the music, somebody went and turned it back up. Then we could moved and we can still hear the music from where we are. Finally I just had to ask for the manager. She was gracious about turning the music off and she even gave us a complimentary meal. However she did not apologize for the experience which would have made this a little better. I don't understand how people don't know that only certain types of music are appropriate in a store or restaurant. And loud music of the music choice was just not appropriate to me. To me you play classical music and you play it low. I actually got a headache while I was in the restaurant. Came in for a late breakfast/early lunch on a Sunday. We were seated right away and our waitress, Mashariki, was efficient, friendly and on top of our service. Meh. I wanna start out by saying there is nothing wrong with our Waitress. She did the best she could and did nothing wrong, and was very kind For that reason, I'm giving two stars.. However... the food was not great, nor the wait. We came in as a party of 2 on a Wednesday night at 1:30am. We didn't check out until 3. We had a relatively simple order, and it took over an hour to get it. Food was just not as good as it was here before. Chicken was pretty burnt and odd tasting, as well as the the pancakes. The shake was very runny and watery. Just not impressed. Our waitress was good, but you can tell this place is understaffed now. read more
