This Dennys has gone down hill , while the people are nice , your order is always wrong and this was my grand slam order lol . Like really only a tiny waffle ? No syrup no bacon , hash browns are raw .

Fake chicken fried steak
Hannah Grace H.

Service was not terrible but however, my friend ordered a chicken fried steak. First off who the hell orders a chicken fried steak at dennys partly her fault but it looked like something you would get in prison. Or in a public school. I got eggs and stuff and it was decent. Always gives me good poos.

This Denny's doesn't play around! I've never had a burger from any other location like this

Fresh, strawberry pancake puppies (more like a donut) Irresistible!

Strawberry pancake puppies...my choice of dessert this time for my road trip break. Fresh, warm, with a delicious cream cheese dip. I'm living the dream, kids! I was seated right away and was waited on by the beautiful Zyren, who made this stop such a treat. The cook let me know personally he had to mix a fresh batch together so the wait will be longer than expected...you're the best! Great service, coffee break, and some dang good puppies...Thank you, Denny's of Jarrell TX!

Pathetic place with pathetic staff attitude

Plenty of tables available and would not be seated. Maybe be only cater to specific crowd

Stopped in on a really important day. Yes, my birthday. And this is where Denny's never fails - - you get a free Grand Slam breakfast on your birthday. Awww yeah, why not stop in and treat yourself to some nice breakfast? That's what I did on my way up to work this morning, and I have to say this was a really good straight-forward experience. This location is connected to a gas station / shop so keep in mind they share the bathrooms, which were okay, but don't blame Denny's if it's mediocre - - plenty of blame to go around here. The service was very good and accommodating, the waitress was very busy and I think she was by herself at 7:45am yet still making sure she got to everyone. The General Manager / Manager here was nice, I think she's relatively new, said she's on a mission to get this place going good and she stepped in to help out. The place was clean, the bar stools were in good condition - where I've seen most Denny's are run-down or old, the counters were very clean, floors too. For here the birthday rules were you get their standard Grand Slam (instead of others where you get to pick 4 items from breakfast ala carte) which comes with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage links, 2 pancakes. No substitutes - - but it's free so no reason to complain. The coffee was very good here BTW. The food came out in a timely manner, I have to say I've been going to Denny's off and on since the late 80's and they always do breakfast right. The only issue is I can never find a cook who can make perfect "eggs over medium". They're often too runny, it's like the cook is too afraid to make a longer commitment and ends up ditching too early. Pancakes here were fluffy and fresh, no complaints here, I would definitely come back to this location - - maybe sooner than the 365 days already planned.

Stopped in on a hurricane evacuation trek to Dallas. Order was taken pretty quickly. Bathroom was really disgusting. Smelled really bad, floor soaked with urine, and really needed to be power washed from floor to ceiling. It is connected to a truck stop so may be it was their bathroom? Ordered the steak skillet and a side of pancakes. Took a reasonable amount of time for our food to arrive. Our waitress seemed like she did not want to be at work today, bored and non-interactive. Food was good but overall can't recommend.

Double Cheeseburger add bacon with onion rings.
Stan B.

Foe 12 dollars I get 6 onion rings. This is ridiculous. I don't know how they keep away with this type of service. I understand you get what you pay for but darn. I guess I have to go another 10 years before I forget how bad they are. Thanks Dennys Corporate this must be the standard.

Good food and Lori is amazing. She is probably the best server they have working the swing shift. I'll go back really just because of her.

Their mission is to provide employment for adults with special needs and their profits support a vocational program to empower local citizens. When you first enter the building, you see a shop with lots of beautifully crafted and interesting products. Lots to shop here, although prices are high which then again, part of the proceeds go into a good cause and the products are well made. The cafe is located at the back of the shop. We spent a little time browsing the shop before going to the cafe. The cafe itself is so welcoming and spacious! Not a great ton of seating available but there's outdoor seating area with turf, which I can see is a huge plus when cooler weather arrives. I love the signs on the wall, very motivating sayings and quotes. For food, I had the avocado toast with bacon and fried egg and an espresso. It was delicious! Price point was good and food came out hot and fresh. I noticed when we were there, the lady at the counter (presumably the manager) was addressing the patrons by name, which was such a nice touch to see. It feels like this place really cares for their customers and is an established place in the local community. Parking is free and ample spaces available when we went there on a Friday morning. I like this place so much I ended up bringing my family there the following week. Support a good cause and eat a nutritious meal at the same time. Go visit!

Service is outstanding, we were greeted and got our drink orders in about 60 seconds after we sat down. Our daily special was the chicken and dumplings, and we got fried okra, mashed potatoes, pintos, collards, and gravy between us for sides. Everything was fresh and homemade, and very, very tasty. Good solid country fare. If you're originally from rural vs urban, you'll feel right at home. If you want old time country diner experience, you'll be pleased. Just to clarify, this is a "seat yourself" place, with a LARGE SIGN stating that as you walk in. There is no door greeter/hostess station, and the counter is as far away from the front door as you can get and still be in the same room. (They also have a sign at the entrance about the card fee, like most places do these days). Well worth a return visit!

However, the steak was too far gone to help. It was closer to medium and, again, the cut was bad. (Note: I didn't complain! I'm sure that if I would have, they would have done anything to correct it!) The positives? The green beans were AMAZING! Still a bit crispy and tasted great! The mashed potato's were good. The host was quick to offer a small wait for an upstairs table at more servers would be on soon and it would open up more tables. We opted to wait the 20mins or so and we're so glad we did! The upstairs really is the best space. Our server was top notch and he put up with our requests and banter with a smile. Place looks…read morenice and quaint, and you'd assume from the looks of it that everything else would be the same but there were some breakdowns in service and the food. Store was probably 25% full at lunch yet we still had to wait a very long time for our food. The service was slow which did not make sense. My Good Folks Salad was nothing special. It had 1 sliced grilled chicken breast on it which was good quality. For the serving size and what you get the $16-17 price range is a bit steep for a handful of greens, 1 chicken breast, a few morsels of blue cheese, 5-6 thin slices of apple, a few small dried cherries and pecans. The dressings were nothing special as they tasted like they came from a plastic container. The ranch lacked that wow-factor with seasoning, the balsamic was very thick and sugary. It was a good salad, the grilled chicken was the highlight, but overall w/ everything else a bit underwhelming. I think it would have been a better experience had the price been more reasonable at the $11-12 range and I bet they would still make a good profit if you deconstruct the meal. They were doing half off on appetizers and starters on this day - something that looked appealing. Even at half off the prices are still around $7-9 which seems to be around the fairly priced range. So $15-18ish for their appetizer selection is very high IMO. But it was the slow service that really confused us. As mentioned they were probably 25% full and seemed to have ample staff, but after she took our order we didn't get our food for at least 30-40 min. We had 2 salads and a catfish dinner. That just didn't make sense. A couple of times we were going to escalate to her but she was in and out and we just decided to let it run its course. The drink refills were slow too, and one of us asked for extra dressing for which he didn't get it. So he asked her again when she brought his salad and it took 10-15 min just to get that. He had to stop eating his salad midway and wait for the salad dressing. So we don't get it. But everyone was nice and professional. I may be enticed to check out half off appetizers but not necessarily rushing back anytime soon. Our other party liked the catfish but the rice pilaf looked a bit overcooked and dried. So maybe we'll see what happens down the road if we decide to give them another try, but overall it definitely could have been a better experience.
