Chile verde omelet w/corn tortillas and a waffle. I remembered to bring my own carry out containers. They use the brown cardboard type which soaks up any juice before getting it home. Immediately, I separated my meal in half. Now, I have TWO delicious meals. I also remembered to bring my flavored coffee creamer, lime and hot sauce- I don't like Tabasco. I'm ready! Although I enjoyed my meal, these were items of disappointment: 1. I know they were constantly brewing coffee, but it tasted burnt, as if had been sitting for a long time. I was not able to "doctor" it up. I think it's a very poor quality of coffee :-(... For the price of that tiny cup of coffee, they need to do better! 2. My omelet was waaaaay smaller than ever before! It was like a two egg omelet and noticeably flat, unlike the usual omelet "hump". The Chile verde sauce was more sauce than chunks of pork. Small pieces of pork more like the size of dice! and very little of that! 3.My greatest disappointment was the potatoes!!! In the past, I loved their TRUE home fries- cubes of potatoes fried/sautéed just so, with onions, bell peppers. I often ordered a separate order of home fries to go, because I ate most of the ones that came with the meal. To my surprise, the meal came with "sliced fried potatoes", which had a greasy taste- I mean GREASy! taste. Some of them were so hard, I had to use my knife. I commented about the potatoes- the lack of onions/peppers and I was bought a side of them, but they were hard, just slightly grilled. So my home fries experience was a huge let down :'-( 4. Still one of the best waffles anywhere! Rosy's waffles are somewhere in my top 3 restaurant waffles!! Soft and spongy, evenly cooked- no need for a lot of butter and/or syrup. Note: One of the few Mexican restaurants that doesn't automatically offer/promote salsas with the meal. At home, I love a bit of salsa with my scrambled eggs with cheese. I first tried this years ago, in a Mexican restaurant and loved it. I will return at some point, maybe I'll try another item... but always a waffle!

The wait staff is attentive and kind, frequently asking if we were enjoying our meal. If you want a no frills just solid quality breakfast (or lunch), this is the spot. The food: I ordered the skilletz special with French toast, eggs over medium, bacon, and country potatoes - I asked for Extra crispy. The food arrived quickly, maybe too quickly. It looked beautiful, but went south quickly from there. The moment I popped into the yolk it was completely overrun by wet egg white, which makes me nauseous. I hate slimy whites, hence the request for over-medium. I ate maybe 3 bites around the edge and tried to get to some yolk but I was gonna be sick with the river of whites. The bacon was good and crispy. My country potatoes tasted like they'd been scooped out of a bin that had been sitting and steaming for a long while. There was zero crisp to a single bite of it. They had not even warmed them up again. Unfortunately, same goes for the French toast. I can live with the sandwich bread French toast if it has some moisture and flavor. I know some restaurants use plain white bread, but it was cold and dry - not like cooled down because it sat there for a minute; remember, the food came out quickly. If it had been freshly made, it should've been piping hot, but it wasn't even lukewarm - the whipped butter didn't even melt a little (see the pic). In fact, parts of it tasted cold like they make the French toast and potatoes in bulk in the morning and then keep them in a bin and throw some onto a grill to warm up but they didn't warm mine up. The hottest thing out of all of my food was the syrup. I had to douse the toast in syrup to try to warm it up a little bit. Again, maybe 3 bites and done. All in all, I'm sad. It was a real disappointment. The tab was $27+6 for tip.... I expect freshly prepared food at that price. It does look to do good business.

Came in to order a cali club sandwich. I asked my server to please ask the chef to do half of the meat because dennys is very generous and adds too much . The sandwich was cooked perfectly. Warm and toasty. And a side of ranch to have with my fries because at dennys you need to have those two combinations to enjoy them . They go together perfectly. The restaurant looked very well organized and clean . I noticed the dishwasher mopping and let me tell you he did a great job . Love seeing a clean restaurant and to have perfect hot food is always a plus . I dine in by myself but definitely the server made me feel at home . I would give zero stars if I could. Worst service I ever had in my life at any restaurant. The only time I saw our waitress was when she took our order which was after sitting at the table for over 20 mins. We waited over an hour for our food and they forgot some of it. We didn't get drinks til after we were done eating. I would never go to this location again. read more

The night manager Josh has horrible customer service can't even call him a manager bc all he does is walk around on his phone texting claiming he's busy. After actually experiencing the promotion, I wish I had made a different choice. The problems started as soon as we arrived. The hostess could not properly check me in for my reservation. After we were finally seated, we waited approximately 15 minutes before anyone even came to our table. We came specifically because Chevy's had emailed me about the $3 taco promotion that morning, and I planned on ordering chicken tacos. Unfortunately, they had run out of chicken. The taco condiment and salsa bar was another disappointment. Several containers were low, nearly empty, or completely empty, and the area was not being replenished quickly enough. I took photos because it was surprising to see the taco bar looking like this during a promotion centered around tacos. Service throughout the evening was also very slow. What makes this experience more frustrating is that Chevy's actively invited customers in through an email promotion earlier that same day. The email did exactly what marketing is supposed to do -- it got me interested, made me want to visit, and turned an ordinary Tuesday evening into what I thought would be a fun Taco Date Night. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not appear prepared for the customers the promotion brought in. I understand that restaurants can get busy and occasionally run out of an item. But when you are heavily promoting National Taco Day, running out of one of the main taco proteins, having an almost empty condiment bar, struggling with reservation check-in, and providing very slow service all during the same visit is difficult to overlook. That is why I'm giving this visit 2 stars. The email sold me on a fun Taco Date Night. The actual experience made me regret the decision.

I'd probably order it next time without the sour cream and cheese on top. Unfortunately, the steak was a disappointment. It was probably the chewiest steak I've ever had. The flavor was good though, especially with the garlic butter on top. I wasn't told there would be an extra charge for the garlic butter. Our waitress was nice, but she seemed to be struggling with the number of tables she was handling. Service was pretty slow and we had to flag her down multiple times. The ambiance is nice, but overall I don't think I'll be coming back.

The place was straight up busy, but they had a long counter, with a burger assembly line to move the orders along. I ordered the classic combo for $14.99 with my burger "all the way" so it was big and sloppy. Just like a burger should be! It had grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and oozed all that good stuff with every bite. The fries were natural cut and oh-so-crisp. I wish I knew their secret. I had a lemonade, with a free refill to wash it all down. The restaurant was spotless inside, and had bags of peanuts stacked on the floor. Especially, the store manager, who asked me to go file complaint but refused and was afraid to give me her name. All of the employees there did not have their name tags. On my receipt that the she gave me, her name was Kimberly. Hopefully, it was her real name. She was a Spanish lady. She had no manner of a manager. She was rude and acted that she didn't need customers. It was the first time in my life that I met a store manager like her. I felt SORRY for Jose Garzona to hire her. She will push all your customers away. I'm a loyalty customer for more than 10 years. My family and friends will never come back to this location. This location deserves ZERO star.
