Came in Friday for dinner . One girl working .. poor thing , she was busting her hump . No complaints really , other then she forgot to put in an order and there was just two of us . But , expected waiting on the entire place alone and checking folks out . The food was good , but the chicken tenders were too salty . Almost couldn't eat them . This place is a crap shoot ... most the time at night you get someone to wait on you that's totally unprofessional and Probaly on drugs . The girl we had was decent and fast . This place has been that way since it opened . Breakfast in the morning is fine . Normal people working . Parking lot is kinda sketch all hours of the day and night . I live not far but don't go here by myself . Flash across the street is worse especially at night . This dennys is located in gas station off the interstate . It's like they get two decent servers and one quits and the whole cycle starts over . There was one girl we used to get that would never shut the fuck up and slow .... I haven't seen her last few times . Better than other times we've eaten here

Brittany was so professional and so polite. She was the best server I have ever had. I will be back, thank you Brittany so much

Last year on my birthday, I dropped by Denny's to get a free birthday grand slam. This year, I was in the Nashville. A few months ago, I signed up for Denny's perks after having a meal in Rochester, MN. Guess what? I received a coupon for a free triple double slam on my birthday. Yay! The problem? There are no Denny's eateries in Nashville. However, travel a bit north to this Denny's in Fairview and all is well with the world. So, I did a day trip up here on a soggy Sunday. I drove through some much needed rain. When I got to the parking lot, the rain had stopped. This Denny's is a rest stop. Both Denny's and Flying J are together, under the same roof. You can essentially eat and get gas... haha! I had no problem finding a spot to park my rental car. I then headed inside. I waited at the front for someone to greet me. This eatery was clearly understaffed. I am so patient that it's almost ridiculous. Yet, I fit into Nashville and now Fairview rather nicely. Eventually, a woman let me know that I'd be seated as soon as she cleaned a table for me. It was nice. I wasn't in a rush. I did get seated at a booth and got a menu. I looked at the menu to figure out what I wanted to drink. It had Coke products, so I defaulted to a Diet Coke. My server was Savannah. We bonded automatically. She let me know that there was a shift change and it was crazy. I could sympathize, as I have done shift work and it can get chaotic, especially passing off details to the next shift coming in. I let her know that I was redeeming my birthday gift. We also bonded on birthdays. "Happy birthday!" she said. "Thanks so much," I replied. "Mine was yesterday," she admitted. "Happy belated birthday! Small world," I said. I love meeting a fellow Cancerian. I got the following items for my free triple double slam: - French toast - Over-medium eggs - Sausage links My server was so sweet. She came to my table with my food. She got the cook to give me an extra slice of French toast and hash browns. OMG! It was such a lovely, unexpected gesture. I loved my food. The French toast was yummy. I added syrup. It was highly enjoyable. My over-medium eggs were done perfectly. I don't like hash browns super crispy. These ones were to my liking. They were fluffy with a bit of crispness. I love sausage links. They were yummy. They made my meal complete. I got my bill. You pay at the front. I thanked Savannah for making my day so special. I only paid for my drink. I regretted not tipping her more, but she was thankful for our chat and for the tip that I gave. I wished her a wonderful day and looked for the washroom. She wished me a happy birthday again, which was so nice. The washrooms are shared between Flying J and Denny's. The women's washroom was exceptionally clean. This Denny's experience will likely be my most memorable one, thanks to a nice Cancerian and a generous cook. They made my birthday bright and cheerful. I look back and appreciate this visit even more. (318)

Geist was amazing!…read more The atmosphere is truly one of the best in the city, especially when they have the place decorated for the holidays. On top of that, our server was hands down the best we've had in a long time. The drink menu was a little limited, but every cocktail we tried tasted really good. We started with the Caesar salad, and honestly that was the one miss of the night. It had a bit of a weird taste to it. Everything after that was fantastic though. I got the lamb chop and my fiancé got the filet, and both were cooked to perfection. For sides, the truffle fries and Brussels sprouts were standouts that I highly recommend. Will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. We ordered the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken, shrimp and grits, and two iced coffees. The coffee was good but the food was, honestly, borderline inedible and not at all what we expected. What was even more disappointing was the response when our server asked how everything was. We were honest and told her we didn't like the food. Her only response was, "Awww," before walking away. There was no offer to make it right, no follow-up, and no manager checked on us. When our table was cleared, our plates were still nearly full. For a bill of around $100 for brunch for two, I expected much better food and customer service. The beautiful setting wasn't enough to make up for the disappointing meal and lack of concern when we shared our experience.

An open kitchen with a wood-burning grill sends heat and aroma across the floor, so the whole space feels alive and warm at once. The staff matched the setting, gracious and sharp from hello to goodbye. The food kept pace. The sausage and cheddar biscuits earn every word of their reputation, we could have made a meal of them. We ate family style, which is the move here, passing everything so the whole table got a taste. Tara's halibut was the runaway favorite, our server called it his top pick on the menu and he nailed it. The mac and cheese and the brussels sprouts vanished fast, and the tri-tip with spaghetti squash and the delmonico rounded out a generous spread. My one small miss was the fried chicken, flavorful but a touch dry, the lone soft note of the night. The carrot cake ice cream cake split the table down the middle, though nobody walked away disappointed. Four stars, with only that dry chicken keeping it from a clean sweep. We left already angling for a reason to return.

Then all of a sudden another one came out and they said here they accidentally made another one because I guess someone had put another one in while we were waiting so we just had to chug that one too. Didn't seem super responsible to be honest but at least I had other people to share it with. Would have rather just had it taken off the bill completely rather than then trying to just give us free drinks when we were already trying to leave. Overall seemed to be a bit disorganized and couldn't even leave until around 7:30pm because no one would come by and give us our check. We were late for our next commitment which sucked. Since it was so nice outside, we requested an outside table to enjoy the sunshine. What caught my eye was the $3 Mimosas, so we definitely sampled a few of them (see picture) - but Cranberry was without a doubt my favorite. What I loved the most though was the Croissant Du Jour (see picture). It was recommended by our wonderful server, so we started our dining experience with it. The chocolate / salted caramel cream inside was oh so decadent...and how can you go wrong with a delicious croissant as the carrier! That's not to take anything away from the main courses though. The Fried Chicken Sandwich with Spiced Honey Glaze (see picture) and Steak & Eggs (see picture) were delicious in their own rites. The chicken sandwich was a great balance of sweetness with a little kick, the potatoes had great seasoning and were baked to perfection - and the steak was a perfect medium rare (as ordered). While admittedly it was a bit on the pricey side, all of the food was oh, so good and I would highly recommend this place for brunch! This review is for the weekend morning family brunch. What a fun experience for the family!…read more Reservations for 6 or less can be made online. We had a party of 8 so I emailed to make the reservation. I received a full page questionnaire to fill out and submitted a credit card to hold the reservation. Parking is available across the street and the restaurant validated our parking. We were at the restaurant for about three hours and didn't pay anything for parking. I love that the restaurant offers this! You head to the elevators in the Johnny Cash Museum. A House of Cards employee will get you to head down to the restaurant. The employees at the restaurant and the magicians were all friendly and welcoming. I thought service might be a bit pretentious, but it wasn't like that at all. The dress code is strict here. It's a little relaxed for the family brunch. Be sure to read the dress code information on the site before dining here. Family brunch is $60 per adult and $40 per child. I think pricing for young children is at the server's discretion. Our server didn't charge us for my two year old who didn't want to eat. We were prepared to pay for her and it was a pleasant (and appreciated) surprise that this was waived. There are two main magic shows for family brunch. Each brunch gets you a ticket to one show. Around the dining room a few magicians were offering close up tricks. The kids had opportunities to participate in the small table tricks as well as the main show. We arrived at 10am for brunch and the main show was at 12pm. It may be worth asking how your reservation and the show line up if you have a time crunch or antsy little ones. There is plenty of entertainment if you want to hang out for awhile! I had low expectations for the food since it was a buffet, but I was pleasantly surprised! The food was actually pretty good and they had a huge variety of options. They offered eggs, bacon, carving stations, cheeses, a huge variety of fruit, pastries, and hot options. There was a wide selection of desserts and they were good too. There was a large display of shrimp and crab legs. While waiting for the show they have a cute courtyard with a waterfall which was cute for photos. Our ticket also included a printed family photo. My husband and daughter went back after our initial visit and this wasn't offered. Overall, I think the brunch was a really fun time. Kids and adults enjoyed the entertainment and the food. It's definitely different than the typical dining experience. I'd recommend this for groups for sure.

From the food to the magic shows, the friendly service, and everyone dressing up for the occasion, the whole experience felt special. A few helpful details: brunch is only offered on Sundays, and it's the only time guests under 21 are allowed in. Reservations should be made online since seating times are specific and include access to the magic show. The brunch is buffet style. You've got all the classics, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, plus a seafood station with salmon lox, crab legs, and shrimp. There's also an omelet station, a carving station with prime rib and ham, charcuterie, salads, fresh fruit, and a full dessert table. Honestly, it was phenomenal. Pricing is $60 for adults and $40 for kids, with drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) not included. Our server, Lily, was fantastic, friendly, kind, and very patient. Thank you, Lily! After eating, I ordered an espresso martini and my husband had an Old Fashioned, both were very good. You also get access to the main theater magic show as well as tableside performances, and both were amazing. The magicians, Frankie, Shadow, and Ben Young, were awesome! Since brunch is more family friendly, the shows lean toward all ages, but they're still super entertaining. Even without kids, we had a great time. Special thanks to the entire team from our visit on Sunday (4/26). From the front desk and managers to the kitchen, servers, bartenders, and magicians, everyone was great. We'll definitely keep coming back. PS: There is a dress code and a photography policy, so be sure to check their website beforehand. It's enforced, and honestly, it helps keep the magic of the place alive
