My fiancée and I came to this restaurant last Saturday morning as part of our anniversary trip to Nashville. I saw this restaurant from a post on TikTok and I had to give this place a try. The service for this restaurant was quick and we didn't wait long. The food was absolutely delicious and was worth the drive. If we're ever in the area, we will eat at this restaurant again. :)

We popped in here on our way to Franklin. Great little country restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendliest Lady who said 'come on in'. The food was great and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is cozy. It's the perfect place to eat if you are exploring Leipers Fork.

We stopped by the Country Boy today and it is located in a really cute part of town surrounded by coffee shops, gift shops and the likes. It is street parking for the most part so come prepared for that. Our waitress, Sue, was SUCH a delight. Very personable and the service was very fast. I ordered the country fried steak, covered in gravy, with mashed potatoes and green beans and let me tell yall, that country fried steak was one of the best foods I've had in a long time. The potatoes were a little cold but they were still very good and most importantly, they were made of REAL potatoes, which I've learned isn't as common as one would think. The green beans also tasted delicious. My husband ordered a sausage and cheese omelette with toast and a side of grits. He was especially impressed with how delicious the sausage was inside the omelette and he LOVED the grits! Overall, this was a great experience and I think what especially made it great aside from the delicious food was Sues customer service. My husband is hard of hearing (he is a U.S. Marine who has been deployed numerous times and lost a good bit of hearing) and she said something that he didn't hear, and after mentioning he was hard of hearing, she didn't mind coming closer and stating it again, which we really appreciated because this is a common issue we experience and most times we just get met with a blank stare and then the waiters will just walk away. If you're in town and want some good food and a homey feel, this is the place. Check out the gift shops too in the area!

Service and food was great! We came in the middle of the week during the day so there was no wait. The food was delicious and it is exactly what you would expect and hope for from a home cooking establishment.

Visitors heading to Leipers Fork for a morning or afternoon of shopping, whiskey tasting, and breakfast or lunch should add their name to the wait list at The Country Boy, which moves swiftly as the efficient wait staff turn tables over fast and furious. The food is just what you'd want for a hearty country breakfast or lunch - with fluffy pancakes, mile-high biscuits and creative twists eggs bennie with fried green tomatoes and country ham. The staff is super fun and friendly, and the interior is laid back with a vintage vibe and decor. It's a classic locale - so don't miss it.

Invisible Older Folks... I'm at a loss for starting this review. My wife and I had looked forward to eating here since we had recently heard and seen encouraging reviews. (We've only visited once before many years ago.) This morning we were pleased to find a parking spot almost directly in front of the restaurant. And, that's where the good news ends. There was one customer seated at counter and three tables of couples in an otherwise empty restaurant at 9:15 on a Monday. We were greeted as soon as we entered and given our choice of table. (We chose one off to the side near the bathrooms, away from the front windows.) We sat down and our greeter returned to her station at the counter. Our visit literally ends at this point. We looked at the menus; discussed options between ourselves....and waited. And waited. And waited. NO one returned to our table although one employee passed by and smiled on his way to (?) downstairs. Another passed by on her way to the restrooms... looking at her phone. We saw one server clear a table nearby, but she did not look our way. We watched as another server speak to the folks next to us....but once again, she did not turn our way nor speak to us....as we looked on, tapping fingers (?). Finally a group of 6 young, lively (not rude) men came in and were seated adjacent to us and (immediately) were asked if they wanted water or coffee. I was about to ask the server if we could have water or something....but she scurried away before I could utter a sound. Stunned! We decided (now 15 minutes after we entered) to leave. As we departed, I turned to the 3 wait staff standing and chatting by the counter and said, "It might have been nice to be offered water or coffee when we came in."....(no response)....so I continued, "we will not be back." (NO response.) Courtesy? Respect? Customer Service? Not today. Not the way to start the day or to encourage favorable reviews. (Funny: a little later, since I had "Checked in" and posted an interior shot, Yelp sent a note asking me to post more photos of our food.... lol ... )

Boy the line can sure be long here. Pretty basic breakfast offerings. My sausages were dry and barely warm. I don't favor being served with to go food plates and utensils.

I stopped in here on our day trip to LF and didn't quite know what to expect. I ordered a fried bologna sandwich because why not? Seemed like a fun local thing to try. It was remarkably good! Lots of cheese and soft bread I mean come on!! What's not to love. Service was quick and super polite. Inside is a cute diner vibe. It was a great lunch!!

Enjoyed the filet with the Henry Baine sauce (IDK who Henry Bain is but his sauce is delicious and he deserves a hug) which is sweet and spicy. And that's exactly how I'd also describe our server Bridget! She was perfect. Request her area if you go! Great drinks, great side dishes (loved the brussel sprouts), and great service. Don't miss this gem.

For example, there was three of us on my tab. Two of us got the burgers and the other person got a chicken sandwich. Burgers were $19 and the chicken sandwich was $18. The steak prices are absolutely ridiculous. I am not gonna pay $60-$70 for a steak at a restaurant that looks like this. We've been to Perry's many times along with Jeff Ruby's and Smith Wolinsky's. Some of the prices matched these five star restaurants with nothing to back it up. We avoided getting a $300 bill at this Cracker Barrel so we ended up just getting the cheapest things on the menu cause I was already pissed off with the prices they were asking Anyhoo We got two sides, macaroni and cheese for $20 which would only feed one and a half adults if that and it was crap. and we also got a side of brussels sprouts which was a bowl for one person, but they swore it could feed 2 to 3 people and again brussels sprouts are crap. We both had water which was the best thing on the menu. The other person in our group had two drinks totaling $25. And we had a $10 dessert. our bill for the three of us was $160. With tip our bill was $185. Absolutely criminal. I felt like we got robbed. Now to review the food. Mediocre burger, mediocre chicken sandwich, terrible sides, but the water was fantastic. It's a very non-descriptive building. You walk into it and is one open floor plan. Nothing in there makes you feel like you're at an upscale five star restaurant with these prices. We've been too many five star restaurants Jeff Ruby, Smith, & Wollensky, etc. this place is more like a Cracker Barrel. One of the biggest pet peeves we had was during our entire service. There was only six people at our table. The waitress continually would stand at the end of the table (next to me ) and she would interrupt our meal and Ask Are we done with this plate or this fork or this bowl. So we had to stop and hand her any unused bowls or plates or silverware, even if we were using them still. The weird part was that she would never walk around the table and grab them from each person. She made us all gather them up and send them down to the end of table where I was sitting, and I had a stack of plates or bowls, etc., and hand them up to her. this happened numerous times throughout the meal I've never experienced this we felt so rushed and then once we got the bill, I was disgusted. So moral to the story is avoid Circa unless you want to get a overpriced mediocre meal this place is for you To be honest, you would get a better burger and mac & cheese at Cracker Barrel.

We started off with the Mini Donuts with dipping sauces, and they were a huge hit! Unfortunately, I was off my game and forgot to take pictures of some of the appetizers before they disappeared. We also ordered the Spinach Dip with chips, and a definite must have, the Deviled Eggs with Candy Bacon. Wow... those were sooo good! For the entrees, I went with the Eggs Benedict with home fries, and it was perfection. Others at the table ordered the Chicken Fingers and Fries, great comfort food with amazing flavor. The fries are the thin-cut style, which makes them extra good. The granddaughters split a hamburger and absolutely loved it. The service is always great here, but this visit had a special touch. The granddaughters wanted a carrot to feed to their stuffed bunny, and the waitress actually brought one out for them! Little things like that make a big impression. Overall, a great brunch, great service, and a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

We must be late to the game, because BrickTop's was hopping early on a Thursday night…read more Plentiful parking around. Pleasant space, lots of booths with a few tables sprinkled around. Loud from the crowd, but still fine for conversation, and the tables/booths were spread enough to provide decent privacy. Made a note that the bar looked very attractive and appealing. Limited draft selection, though the by the glass wine was about the best list I've ever seen in a restaurant, and quite reasonable on pricing. Food comes out fast. Wait people are efficient and helpful. Started with a split salad. We ordered the Little Gem but actually received the Caesar. Not a big deal, though it was badly over dressed, so whatever salad we order (or whatever we're served) in the future, it'll be dressing on the side. After having a tough time deciding what to order on our first visit, I went with the tuna. The tuna slices were nicely rare though the dish was very bland. A pop of pickled ginger on the side, but some wasabi, or even a hit of salt, would have helped a lot, and the dipping sauce was off and bland, could have really used some more soy sauce. Wife got the crab cakes. The cakes were really nice jumbo lumps, very good quality, and the shoestring fries delightful (though I might order them well done next time for a bit of extra crunch). We'll be back and will enjoy exploring the menu further. There's clearly 5 star potential here, we just need to learn the best dishes to order.

Upon his return he was focused on everything but the 5 of us in the place until we finally had to ask to get service. The other visit everyone helped me but the actual server. Maybe this is a staffing problem, I don't know but being stuck for 20 minutes to order another drink with my meal is not acceptable. Although they had that check in my hand in under a minute and in under another minute to process. Again, super nicer people, but kind of oblivious. 2) Now let's talk about the kitchen. And I'm adding some input from the other diners because we all sat there waiting. - flavors are great, but the salt and spice level is overboard. I had the mushroom appetizer and nearly choked/coughed to death. I like heat but this was raw spice that overpowered the dish. And the salt about made my feet swell into balloons. Such a shame because the idea is great just poor execution - deviled eggs. Pass - BBQ Shrimp, sort of like the mushrooms right profile but overpowering - gumbo. Two other people had the gumbo and when I asked they said that too is just over spiced I want to like this place, but probably my last visit unless I just come for oysters. Sorry
