A few updates - always start dinner with bacon and eggs. Well, it's referred to as "deviled eggs & sugar bacon" on the menu. Perfectly sharable. Comes with jalapeno hot sauce - don't be shy, it's more slightly tangy than spicy and it perfects the delicious deviled eggs. Appreciate that they're generous with the glazed bacon. Wife loves the little gem salad. It's a bit light for dinner; she cleans her plate. Special of fish and chips - sounded wonderful, but they were out of the fish shortly after 5:30pm - what? It must have been a carry over from the previous evening is all I can imagine. Anyway, if it's on the daily specials, order as soon as you see it! First time here due to hearing they had an eclectic menu. It's true. Sushi, sashimi, steaks, and spaghetti. Something for every taste and we were not disappointed. We took our granddaughters here for brunch and had a great experience! A little tip, it's best to make reservations a couple days in advance because this place gets busy. We started off with the Mini Donuts with dipping sauces, and they were a huge hit! Unfortunately, I was off my game and forgot to take pictures of some of the appetizers before they disappeared. We also ordered the Spinach Dip with chips, and a definite must have, the Deviled Eggs with Candy Bacon. Wow... those were sooo good! For the entrees, I went with the Eggs Benedict with home fries, and it was perfection. Others at the table ordered the Chicken Fingers and Fries, great comfort food with amazing flavor. The fries are the thin-cut style, which makes them extra good. The granddaughters split a hamburger and absolutely loved it. The service is always great here, but this visit had a special touch. The granddaughters wanted a carrot to feed to their stuffed bunny, and the waitress actually brought one out for them! Little things like that make a big impression. I've now eaten at all three BrickTop's in Nashville and all were excellent. I had business lunches at Cool Springs and West End, and date night at SoBro. The deviled eggs and candied bacon are a must for starters. The spinach/artichoke dip is also a consistent treat. My wife enjoys the spicy tuna on crispy rice and my son raved about the prime rib. Every salad, sandwich and entree I've tried has been delicious. Someday I'll save some room for the enticing desserts! read more

Wife's drink can back sticky on the glass. Her crab cakes were unimpressive. With little flavor. My meatloaf was dry and probably made at least the day before. If not, unsure how it was served as it was. Presentation was to say odd. Molded like a cone. Mashed potatoes were ok. Had good meal at Nashville location a few months ago. Maybe this location in Franklin TN had a bad day. Will return to give another try. But not too very soon. Many other restaurant options to patronize that have exceeded my expectations. read more

The deviled eggs were creamy, savory and fresh! For my entree I had the chicken Milanese and fettuccine Alfredo and it was incredible! Nice thin chicken cutlet lightly breaded and drizzled with a yummy piccata style sauce and the Alfredo noodles were thin and creamy and perfect. Would absolutely come back here! This was my first time at this location l, came here with my family. Love the location. As soon as you walk in you are welcomed with smiles. The hostesses were really nice. Their staff was very nice and accommodating. The energy of the restaurant is very calm. Would love to come back to this location with my husband. Dinner here could be very romantic. We started off with the spinach dip. It came out hot and the spinach dip was so creamy and delicious, the salsa that comes with was very flavorful. I love salsa and this one was really good. I ordered the blackened ahi tuna with stir fry veggies and replace the rice pilaf with a twice baked potato. Everything on my plate was delicious. I wasn't able to finish the potato so I too. That to go but one of the stars on the plate was the dipping sauce for the ahi tuna, it was a little citrus in it and it paired so well. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. I would recommend for a group, date, or even a solo dinner experience. I will be back. read more

My wife and I met my parents for lunch today. We had deviled eggs and a shrimp appetizer. The eggs were wonderful. The Shanghai shrimp was pretty good ( think bang bang shrimp ) but I have had better. My wife ordered chicken and waffles. The waffles were good tasting but limp. I have always thought that waffles were supposed to be crispy. The chicken was good. I ordered shrimp and grits. I have to say for my taste, it was not the best. The shrimp were overcooked and a bit tough, the grits had mostly a garlic flavor and not much cheese forever. I have always liked Tasso ham in my shrimp and grits and I think that would be a good addition. Or server was wonderful. She was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. She is a real asset to the business. The sound level in the restaurant is pretty high making it difficult to hear the person across the table from me. I would appreciate the addition of some sound absorbing material. I have dined here before and had better dishes for dinner. I'm sure we will return as my father really likes going there. read more

One of the best restaurants in the area! Every dish is cooked to perfection with such care and attention. The flavors are balanced and delicious. I can't remember the last time I tasted so many wonderful dishes at a fine dining restaurant. So many places are overrated but BrickTop's blows the others out of the water. I've been hearing great things about this spot and finally tried it. We started with the spinach dip which was really good. Then i ordered a wedge salad and the crab cakes. The wedge wasn't my favorite but it was decent. The crab cakes were really good. They were a lot smaller than I thought they'd be but it was good. The lunch portion is just one crab cake but i added an extra one. It comes with cole slaw and fries. I substituted cole slaw for the mixed veggies. My meal was good and very flavorful. The atmosphere is nice and our server was good. He spaced everything out well. Stopped at BrickTop's on the way home for a late lunch. To sit inside it was almost an hour wait. So we opted to sit outside. Sat right down. I absolutely loved my time here for a girls dinner. We had the deviled eggs and bacon as a starter and that bacon was delicious! I had the crab cakes for dinner and the crab meat was mouth watering good! We had a skillet cookie with peppermint ice cream for dessert and it was delicious. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable as well. We did come here at 4:00 hoping for a happy hour and unfortunately they have stopped that which was quite disappointing and the reason for 4 stars. I wanted a Nashville chicken sandwiche, as I had been tasting every restaurant in town who sold them. I just keep missing when it was offered. I called every day for a month. The one day I didn't call, I missed it. So I got the courage up to ask in person, a staff member who looked important walked by and I jumped at the chance to see if I could convince them to offer it just one time before I had to go back home. In true form of my luck he informed me it was just served on Wednesday. But with the greatest personality and enthusiasm he said I'll have them make you one on any day you would like. I thought he was messing with me. Then he said not only will I have them make that day you pick but I will have them make it every week on that day just incase you ever want another one. Truly I tell you he made it happen. Rarely have I ever enjoyed such a place for lunch. Such a refreshing atmosphere and decor. If ever in Franklin TN. You gotta try that sandwich. read more

I was in Franklin for date night and decided to dine at BrickTops. They're extensive menu made this a great option because I was in the mood for sushi and my boyfriend was itching for some steak. I ordered the Yum Yum sushi and added a side of crispy brussel sprouts. The sushi was really good and I would recommend them. The only issue I had with them was how large the pieces were cut. It was a little difficult eating them, but I still managed. For dessert I had the cookie skillet with vanilla ice cream on top. Our waitress was very kind and attentive.
