I have always loved Bricktops and when my wife and son asked where I would like to celebrate my 80th birthday I chose Bricktops. Sadly. it was not a pleasant experience. The service was mediocher, our wedge salad was warm and lacking hardly anything on it. We all even had to request additional dressing. Our entre was brought when we were still eating our salad, both my meal and my wife's was warm and not hot. Her trout was dry and overcooked. The server brought a complimentary piece of key lime pie (at our son's request). It was hot and bitter. I never complain but felt that you needed to know. BrickTop's Franklin is simply the best! Tonight I had the ribs, sauteed spinach and coleslaw. Everything was amazing including the service. Jordan was my server and she was great. Yes I had Deviled eggs for breakfast...don't judge me, look away. Sorry for the picture of food being eaten, it looked so good I dug in before I took the picture. Very little restraint when it comes to deviled eggs. Back to basics, the staff are professionally dressed very refreshing to see these days, my server was amazing, great personality, knowledgeable about the menu options and "understood the assignment" customer care. Our first visit to a Bricktop's restaurant; we were very pleased with all aspects of our lunch experience. The setting and menu and whole vibe reminded us of Seasons 52 with lighting not quite so dimmed. Service was helpful, comfortable, and efficient. The food was delicious: Caesar salad, French dip, Meatloaf, Ahi Tuna steak, cheeseburger with side of sauteed spinach. Nice selection of wines by the glass: 2 of us had the Siduri Pinot Noir, which was quite good. Another in our group of 4 had a Bearded Iris IPA. Prices are moderate. We most certainly will return when we are back in Franklin. read more

We are regulars here because the service and food are consistently on point. We usually get the meatloaf because it's amazing but tonight I tried the trout and it was delicious! So tasty and light but super filling! My boyfriend got the prime rib and he loved it as well. They recently remodeled a little and added cool wallpaper and lights to set the mood. It's always a low key, calm atmosphere here. We come regularly and will continue to do so! Ohh and definitely get the deviled eggs and millionaires bacon for an appetizer! Yum! read more

What a great experience dining at Brick Top's was on New "2025" Years evening. My husband ordered his absolutely delicious full rack of ribs which came off the bone like butter. He said they were among the best ribs he has ever had and when we return, which we hope to do soon, he will order them again. My selection was the fabulous Palm Beach salad. I was in heaven with this salad as it was so fresh and the crab was excellent. I must also comment on the beautiful ambiance of this establishment and our over-the-top server named, Andrea. Andrea went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect and we certainly did appreciate her kindness and attentiveness to our dining experience. Service was fine, food was good. I had the trout with roasted cauliflower. It had crab on top, but I had to loom for the crab. It was not lump crab but more like broken up pieces. The trout had a nice grilled flavor. Everything on the plate was the same color. Some fresh herbs would have finished it off nicely. All in all a good dinner. $45 plus tip for entree and glass of wine. Management: please get your lights in the parking lot fixed. There were none on when I walked to my car around 10p. We love Bricktops. Their steaks are delicious, as are their crab cakes. The chicken dishes are all wonderful, as well. Honestly, I have not had anything I didn't care for here. My only complaint is I am not a fan of the chimichurri sauce on the steak frites, but, I might just not like chimichurru?! Service is always impeccable. Spicy tuna and butter crab roll are yummy. We recently had brunch here and it was fantastic! Each person in our party ordered something different and everyone was pleased.

We had Mother's Day brunch today and overall it was fine. My wife got waffles and the in-laws got eggs Benedict and they were very pleased. However, I got the 4oz filet with twice baked potato and broccoli and everything was not ok. The potato and broccoli were good BUT I got a 4oz piece of sirloin. I know 100% it was sirloin bc I'm in the beef business. It had an extra strong beef flavor and I needed to use some force to cut through. I am disappointed they would try to save a few bucks and sub this livery-tasting cut instead of filet. read more

Overpriced and not that great. I ordered the sliced ahi tuna appetizer. Pictures looked so hood online! it tasted fine but the slices of tuna was super chewy! It was very hard to cut with a fork or to bite a piece off. No thank you. At the bartender's recommendation, I ordered the butter crab roll. The menu said warm crab. I should've known better. It was a $20 sushi roll with all fake crab and a ton of butter. I was told it tasted like buttered lobster. Not quite! I ordered a side of brussel sprouts too. It was bitter and tough. I'm sure there were better things on the menu but I did not order them. Ugh, such a waste of money! I was so looking forward to a great meal but it was not. read more
