This is the first time I've been there since all the 'controversy' . This visit was nothing but perfect. Long line / busy but seated in less than 10 min with a warm welcome and smile. Atmosphere was warm , fireplace going , ole' country charm still there. Food came out quick and was great ( I mean CBRL great ... not like this is a Michelin rated restaurant). If you look at the pecan pie picture you can see the gnat on the plate but the chocolate cake if you zoom in you can clearly see the gnats on it. Disgusting to say the least and regret even stopping in! One of the nastiest buffets I think I have been to and after spending $45.00 we should have just got us a pizza and called it a day!
