Everyone was really nice. I got the Country Boy breakfast plate. I don't recommend getting the grits. They either don't cook the grits with salt or don't use enough. Good grits need to be cooked with salt. You can't add it later. Everything else was great. I had a long drive so I also got a bologna, egg and cheese sandwich to go. Even eating it several hours later and cold by now, it was still good.

Outstanding quality, full country flavor, and very reasonable. My meat/3 cost me $9.25!!

Small quaint place. "Hole-in-the-wall" feel- and delicious! Simple menu and cooked like it's from grandmas.

Great food! Local flavor. Friendly service! We were traveling in I40 and didn't want any chain restaurant food. This is a local treasure!

Good hometown place. All the locals were having breakfast. Standard eggs, meat, hash browns, biscuits. All good. Staff friendly

Service was good. Food wasn't. My omelette was paper thin with no flavor. Wouldn't recommend.

Non-traditional Western Omelette (came with bacon and sausage but no ham). I was skeptical but tried it. It was absolutely delicious!

This is the first time I've been there since all the 'controversy' . This visit was nothing but perfect. Long line / busy but seated in less than 10 min with a warm welcome and smile. Atmosphere was warm , fireplace going , ole' country charm still there. Food came out quick and was great ( I mean CBRL great ... not like this is a Michelin rated restaurant). It was just as it should be. Tried the new hash brown casserole Shepards pie. OMG... this was soooo good. Walked around the store a bit on the way out and got a nice gift for someone back home. CBRL is and always will be a staple to stop along the highway.... Or up the street in a neighborhood near you. The media would have you believe that this place is dead. It is very much alive. ... by the way, full transparency. I'm very conservative and didn't like the changes to the logo or the remodels. Glad to see things 'back to normal'

Walked in and was immediately hit with the smell of biscuits, gravy, and nostalgia. The front porch had rocking chairs like it was just waiting for someone to sit down and tell stories about "the good ol' days." Inside, it's part restaurant, part gift shop, part time machine--with everything from vintage candy to socks with sassy sayings on them. The food? Comfort food central. Chicken and dumplings, meatloaf, pancakes bigger than your face--nothing fancy, but everything is warm and filling. The biscuits alone deserve their own fan club. And don't even get me started on that little triangle peg game at the table. I never win, but I respect the hustle. Service is usually friendly, even if it's a little slow when they're slammed (which they often are). But you're not there to rush--you're there to lean into the gravy-soaked slow-down.

I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but after reading through their menu and other information on their website, I was pretty sure I would like it. Upon arriving we were seated within 5 minutes by the sweetest most personable server I have delt with in many years. The interior of the restaurant is so pretty, with white table clothes and fresh flowers on every table, it was absolutely breathtaking! My friend and I tried the empanada, and it was brought out in a timely manner, and OH MY GOODNESS it was soooo good! Then I ordered the Salmon, and my friend ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu. The presentation of the food was so upscale and beautiful! And again, I was shocked! The food was soooo good, definitely worth every penny I paid for it! Then, for dessert we both tried the Affogoto. I was sooo surprised at the quality of the espresso! As a barista of 2 plus years, I might be considered a little bit of a coffee snob My words after my first sip were, "Oh wow, this is really good!" Nearly every single item on the menu is handcrafted in house, and what isn't is sourced locally. The chef even personally came out to check on us, and see how we liked our food! This place is AMAZING!! I 1000/10 recommend!
