Adam and mike were amazing tonight. No one expects quality service at 9:00 at night at a Denny's but daym.

first I want to say dennys isn't how it used to be we went there for the Fourth of July last night we were excited that it got open again but once we sat down there was barely anything to order from what the waiter said so as well four ordered our food we waited the workers were just laughing not doing their job it took an hour to bring our food to the table but once we got the food it was horrible uncooked my boyfriend didn't like his food my hash browns wasn't cooked didn't taste like anything the pancakes tasted like motel 6 pancakes the hamburger only had one bun because they only had one bun the fries weren't good and hard the eggs were uncooked everyone's food wasn't great and uncooked so we barely ate and wanted to leave as we were waiting for our check the waiter kept asking what we ordered over nd over again he messed up with our receipts and orders on there and made us pay two times my boy friend was mad the waiter kept messing up the customer service was Tragic and a disaster they were very rude the manager kept looking at my bf and looking at him sexually and he didn't like it it made him uncomfortable and she kept laughing and when we tried to speak with her but ignored us and went in her office all I can say is that dennys was a regret for Fourth of July and btw try using a bathroom outside of dennys I went to the bathroom and saw a rat by the emergency door as I was heading to the restroom this place needs to be shut down asap was not pleased waste of money and if you don't believe me go and try this place and see for ur self it was shut down once horrible food and management and customer service ! read more

I went to the new Dennys restaurant in Highlands Ranch and the food was ok, not great. I ordered a Cobb salad it a $4 add on of prime rib that was dried out meat, not tender or juicy for my mother and I had a double cheeseburger that was ok. They brought out a half order of nachos that were cold and soggy. They brought an order of pancakes that I did not order and charged us $45 for 2 people. I didn't get any Lind of discount like senior or AARP . since i didn't have my AARP card. I might as well went to a steakhouse like the OUTBACK and would have had a much better meal for the same amount of money. I will never go back. For the money I was charged I could have had a lot better. read more

This is the third time I've eaten here. Great meals every time. Fast and friendly service. I'm gluten free and the English muffins are great! I can order a very hearty gluten free breakfast and walk away very satisfied because it's really not breakfast out unless there's a bread involved. Our server, Matthew, was very outgoing and very accommodating. I like my bacon and hash browns crispy and when he cane out he asked me if it was crispy enough before putting the plate in front of me and took it back to the kitchen because he wanted "it perfect". Ordered for delivery thru the app and after almost an hour with no update I called to make sure they got the order. They said "yeah it's ready for pick up" I explain it's supposed to be for delivery. The employee then blames Uber eats for really "sucking" between 1-6 AM. Then says it's for pick up because I left a tip. Then said I can't order thru the app. I explained well ok I did (see screenshots) but I can't pick it up right now so I just need to cancel and get a refund. He has to ask for permission. He said that night managers don't have access to that and said he was writing my name and phone number down for the owner. I was fine with just cancelling and refunding because I'm a generally pretty easy going individual. However, this employee continued to argue with me. I have no idea why. He was saying that he just went online and there's not an option and I was like I don't know what to tell you man but it is an option on my end (see below) so I'm not sure what kind of customer service is being provided by continuing to argue with me. He claimed to not be arguing with me, although he so needed me to know that it is not an option for delivery. The Dennys Resturant is a Chain restaurant so I'm sure we all know the basics but this location is extremely slow! Unorganized and took a while for any attention! Food is served hot! Fresh and is good, this is not a chef problem. The Resturant was empty and we had to wait excessive amounts of time. read more

Yeah, I know, it's a Denny's. But it's open past 10 on weeknights, and I was craving simple eggs and toast, so I ventured in. My first impression, at the front door? Dirty. Smelly. But... again, it's past 10, so my choices are limited. The girls that greet me are friendly, so I stick it out. She even asks if I prefer a booth or table. So I opt for the booth, and look! The table has schmoo on it and there's a spill on the bench of the booth. I point it out and move to the other side of the table. It never does get cleaned up. I order their French Vanilla Coffee (You know, from that instant-coffee-mix-machine you'll be familiar with from 7-11?) and that comes out cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. As in: the coffee powder is separating from the water because it wasn't warm enough to dissolve it. Their menu has changed since the last time I was in a Denny's. Seems like there's a lot less selection on the Breakfast side of things. There was literally only one option for a "Two Egg Breakfast"... and it was SIX BUCKS! More than the grand slams, Moons Over My Hammy and a slew of other things. So I go with the Make Your Own Slam, for $5.49 2 strips of bacon 2 eggs (Over Medium) Hash Browns (Well Done) SourDough Toast So: The bacon was about the thickness of your average Burger King breakfast. The "Over Medium" eggs were barely set and overly greasy. The "Well Done" hash browns were hardly browned and cold and soggy. The Sourdough Toast was hard, over toasted, and under buttered. (Not even enough to taste.) And they charged me for the cold coffee. More than $2. I should have gone to a 24 hour fast food chain, and gotten a Dollar Menu snack. That would have been better and one-tenth the price. I won't be back. read more

My adult daughter eat there last night. Told the staff that something was "wrong" with the steak and the staff gave her $5 off her meal. Today she is home sick from dinner last night likely food poisoning. She was going to work today, but instead she has to take an unpaid off. $5 does not cover a day off work. The service at this restaurant was impressive! I swear my server, Bridget, was about as good of a server I have ever seen! She must of had 10 tables she had to wait on and my coffee was always full, my food was hot, and the table I was seated at was very clean. I mention the cleanliness of the table because not only did she seat me, but I noticed that she also cleaned all of the tables that she was waiting on. What a great experience! I highly recommend this place and if you get lucky enough to be seated in Bridget's section, I know you will have the nothing but good things to say about this restaurant just like me. This Denny's gets a downgrade after our most recent visit. While the food is still better than your average Denny's, we had absolutely horrible service this go around. Our waitress just neglected us (and everyone in her section) over and over again. We didn't get our drinks until we after we got our food, and had to flag down another waitress to bring them. I asked for a condiment for my food, and it took a full 10 minutes until the waitress came back that I had to remind her again. In the end, she ended up disappearing, and we had to ask another waitress to bring us the check. No one knew where she went. Still. This is our go-to Denny's location. It is better than other ones we have been to. read more

The only satisfying thing about Denny's is knowing how terrible it's going to be every single time. To start with we walk in on a Saturday at 8pm with a handful of dirty tables. The staff is yelling at each other from across the restaurant, cursing and laughing so loud I can't have a conversation. The "manager" just sat on her ass and sung the entire time. So this is the first time that ive ever came to dennys. I would always go to village inn or ihop but the menu was tempting and i wanted to try their new pancakes but i came for the all u can eat and apparently thats a NO NO. Everytime id try to get the waitresses attention she would pass the table like completely avoid walking by me or id have to get loud to get her attention. It wasnt busy 3tables besides me so 3 tables and me with 1 table having 3 and me just myself and the other 2 with 2 people but two waitresses to WORK!! It was a hassle to get my pancakes and took forever. I felt like it was an inconvenience to get my food, i felt it was an inconvenience to get service to get a water, oj, EVEN my order& a box. NOT ONLY THAT my drink had a HAIR IN ITand the cups looked suspect NOT CLEAN!!! i wasnt asked how my food was. I was ignored and served. I didnt care for the service it seemed to be a problem for me and even asked how much i was guna tip like isnt that my business and im sorry but this was the worst first time to come here i wasnt even done eating and i still needed water but she dissapeared and was DONE as soon as she gave the check it will be my last time to ever come here. I've never walked into a Denny's and expected a stellar experience but this Denny's ya to be the absolute worst I've ever experienced. Every time we go in every single person there has the worst attitude and short tempered. Our most recent experience our waitress shortly greeted us got our drinks and then didn't return for 30 minutes while she had been sat with other tables she proceeded to get their drinks and then food to the tables without even acknowledging us. As a server myself a simple hey so sorry I got a little busy I would've understood but when she finally came to take our order she was just plain unpleasant. When we got our food 30 minutes later it was cold and the pancakes were hard and inedible. We waited another 20 minutes for her to come back around to refill drinks. I am by far one of the most understanding customers but this location is just never pleasant and after today I've lost all hope. read more

The food is always pretty good but the reason I'm writing this review is because of our server Amy. My wife and I just found out that we lost our unborn child and stopped in to have a meal while processing the bad news. Amy, completely unaware of our situation, was amazing!! From her warm greeting, her attentive service and her positive energy. She really brightened our day and unknowingly eased our pain with her natural genuine demeanor. Thank you so much Amy!! Five stars for a Denny's? I went in to Denny's on Hampden in Englewood late one night for my suddenly very hungry fiance who wanted a very specific lot of food. The waitress/ hostess working that night was amazing. She helped me through my list of needs and made sure that every little item that I needed was made perfectly to the specifications listed. I definitely like this location better than the one on Wadsworth and Hampden. was cleaner and bigger. we were seated right away but our waitress never came to take our drink order. Chris took our table for us. He was great, love his personality and got everything right. I go here because it's close to my house, it's the only thing around open late, and sometimes I need to work on my computer without my kids distracting me. I get there and order only to find out there is not internet, which they used to have. So I get up to go somewhere else and the waitress has the gall to bill me for the coffee I didn't even touch! Just go to the Village Inn. You can ALWAYS tell how good a Denny's is by their "Zesty" Nachos. I was thoroughly disappointed. I would avoid this place like Black Plague. Zesty is far from the adjective I'd've used. Pico de Gallo isn't suppose to have green peppers, the chips were soft and tasted of cardboard, they must get their chips where Baco Tell gets theirs. We were one of two couples on that side of the whole restaurant, only 6 tables occupied in the whole place. I've gotten better service at a drive-thru. We'd seen our server attempting to avoid our table many times for basic drink refills. We'd have to ask for extra cups of drink before he'd leave for a while. My server was Ali and she was beyond exceptional, however the manager Ali was very rude and disrespectful when I had to ask him for some help with fixing some things that were wrong on my ticket.
