I came for hot dogs but I can't recommend them. I really really don't care for the Kings Hawaiian roles used as the boat for the franks. So I found the next better thing: their burritos. OMG they are to die for! Each one comes with three eggs (ask for fried eggs, not scrambled.) think runny yolks that penetrate through the entire tortilla wrapped behemoth creation that's larger than a chipotle's burrito some hash brown for crunchies and a tasty green chile gravy that makes the eating experience so messy yet so very satisfying. I'll drive out of my way for Dog Haus's burritos!!

Friendly service, fresh ingredients and clean interior. Bonus that you get a free slider with purchase of Haus dog, sausage or burger. Hooray fast casual food! Dog Haus I'll be returning to soon.

Cheese soaked tots is a paper tray

Ordered a to go order of "tots with a side of cheese sauce" but got tots with cheese sauce dumped on top that had penetrated through the paper to go tray. Couldn't eat it. Also ordered a side of slaw and they just have ran out for the night and they didn't want to make more - it was the smallest side of anything.

    Hot dogs galore!

Tried this place for. Quick lunch and was nicely surprised. Great service and a good menu of hot dogs and other sandwich selections including sides. The food and the service were both excellent.

    Regular hamburger.

This place is great to grab a hot dog (usually a lighter meal than a hamburger) but the hamburgers are great as well!

I have liked Dog Haus since they opened and I think it's a great concept with tasty food, sides, and drinks. When I got the text from them this morning, telling me that because it's national hot dog day they were giving free house dogs, I was excited to go. Fast forward to 2:00 pm after the huge lunch rush by like-minded fans. There was no line and the young man that took our order was friendly and helpful. Then I watched him wipe his nose from the back of his hand up his wrist. Ooooooh! I was just praying he wouldn't be the one making my order. He did bring our food out and was wearing gloves at that point. And he very nicely brought me the cheese sauce that was supposed to be on my Cowboy hot dog. But he was doing a lot of coughing behind the counter. The food was tasty and the Hawaiian buns are so good, but I think they needed to change the oil in their fryer. The onion rings and tots were the darkest shade of brown. I know they had just calmed down after the lunch rush, and we were the only ones there for a little while, but it would have been great to see some cleaning up going on. The table tops were ok, but the floor could have used lots of attention. Anyway - I'm chalking this up to them being overwhelmed by the rush and will be heading back there - maybe for happy hour!

Despite the current ratings of less than 4 stars, I somehow was determined that this place would not disappoint. And my hunch was right; it didn't. We did make a reservation ahead of time. Upon arriving, we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside to which we said inside (for a mid-October evening, the temperature outside was decent and yet we weren't sure about sitting outside the whole time. We made the right call. Occasionally the cool breeze came in from the side door at the bar (as it was left open; they said once closed it locks so it would inconvenience the people out in the open deck area to leisurely come in) and it felt a bit cold to our liking.) Inside was lively. The beautiful modern-looking lounge was filled with all kinds of chitchat by other guests. Our conversation was sometimes canceled by it where we had to talk into our ears but we certainly didn't mind it. Yes, the ambiance is what you come here for. He got the Juicy Bits IPA and I got the French red blend (Grenache and Cote du Rhone). We browsed the food section in the menu. Some looked interesting but we ended up not ordering anything as even though we ate lightly at the first restaurant we were still quite full from it. Our waiter (young male, I believe his name was Payton) was busting his bottom. When he was at our table taking our order he said he was pretty much the only one who was assisting with the guests in the main indoor area. He occasionally got help from his colleague. It appeared to be an understaffed night. We completely understood. Payton, you were pleasant to us; thank you. We truly enjoyed our drinks. FYI - Juicy Bits IPA is not on tap so even though they poured it into a glass the server couldn't pour everything into it so he brought the can as well (btw, it's a 16oz can.) As much as I enjoyed my bold red wine his IPA stole the spotlight at our table. He is a beer guy and he couldn't help but taking a photo of the can for future purposes/purchase. Juicy Bits is a local craft beer made in Greeley. Quite refreshing beer indeed. Well, we sat in our comfy couch for an extended period of time from 6:30 to 9pm. We both stepped outside to the open deck area for a quick view earlier in our dining experience. And we must say that this is one of the best rooftop restaurants we've been to in the Denver area. We shall be back.

We kicked things off with garlic knots and they were fantastic. Crispy on the outside, warm, fluffy, and drenched in garlic butter and topped with parmesan. For my entrée, I went with Nana's chicken parmesan. The chicken breast was perfectly cooked, topped with fresh mozzarella and served with a bright, flavorful house pomodoro. The linguini and seasonal vegetables made it a well-balanced and satisfying plate. My wife ordered the pappardelle bolognese and it was outstanding. The sauce was rich and hearty, made with sausage and Colorado ground chuck, paired perfectly with the wide pappardelle pasta. Finished with parmesan, it tasted like something straight out of a family kitchen. The kids had buttered pasta and surprisingly the portions were the same size as a regular entree. Finished with some vanilla gelato, Oreo ice cream and bread pudding. Amazing! Excellent food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. We were immediately sat on the patio around 5:45 PM. We were greeted and given "welcome bubbles". What a nice touch. After about 5 minutes, we were finally given menus. Other people were sat around us, so we waited to ask for the happy hour menu. We ordered the chef's choice charcuterie, a cocktail, and a glass of wine. The drinks and board were yum, but not quite a wine bar as there were very limited option by the glass. Also, we had to ask for plates and silverware where this is a basic item. While deciding on dinner, we were approached a couple times by the 2 servers in the section. One was friendly, the other, not so much, rather indifferent and made us feel a little uncomfortable and not very welcome. This kind of set the tone for the rest of our night. We ordered the "family share" chateaubriand. We realize this is an expensive cut, but the portion is definitely not a sharing cut, around 4 oz. It is closer to a single entree. When it arrived, the plate was cold, like the meat was lukewarm and the cauliflower was ice cold. Again, we had to ask for silverware and plates for this "family style shareable" plate. We brought the cauliflower temperature up with the server and got new cauliflower after we were done with the rest of the meal. Also, I sat with an empty wine glass and no one stopped to ask if I needed another glass. When the servers did stop by, it was a short interaction and we never even had a chance to ask before they were already walking away. We saw so many people come in and out that they must be doing something right, but for us, our experience was mediocre. If our meal would have been the correct temperature (it was well prepared, just cold) and better execution on the service, we may have had a better experience.

Ok, back to what you care about, their Happy Hour. For two people we got an Americano Taco, Nachos w/ Chicken, Guacamole, ceviche, and margaritas. The margaritas, for being at a Mexican restaurant, were passable. The mango margarita tasted a little like mango, like a Lacroix version of a mango margarita. This was the least enticing of what we ordered. The Americano Taco was a classic white person taco. Hard shell. Ground beef. Nothing too crazy. It was a taco. The ceviche had delicious plantain chips, which I love, to accompany it and the striped bass. In addition there was pineapple and sweet potato. My problem with the ceviche was that there wasn't a lot of fish in it. The guacamole was well mixed and flavored. Served with potato tortilla chips was nice and they were nice and salty. Chips/guac were pretty good, but they didn't give us enough guac to match the serving of chips. They also make their own chips, and she said they're supposed to have a floral note, but tbh I wasn't getting much of that. No big deal. Pescado frito tacos were delicious, but I absolutely hate when restaurants pile the ingredients really high in the center of the taco. I guess they do it for presentation, but it's so impractical, and a pain to eat. I tried spreading it out to the sides, but I shouldn't need to do that in the first place; I should just be able to enjoy my food. Everything was inevitably spilling out, and it just wasn't a great experience. Tres leches cake was great. No gripes there. Peach mocktail was extremely sharp; I tasted way more lemon than anything fruity. Ambience is quite nice and comforting. Good view upstairs too.
