Right when we walked in there was a bit of a clutter at the counter and front door. We wiggled our way to the side and waited for a host to seat us. It seemed like they were a bit confused or didn't realized we were waiting to get seated, not that we were waiting to checkout. Breakfast is pretty decent. Portions are a bit on the lighter side, yet some of the flavors were intense (salty). Both the Million Dollar Potatoes and potatoes as a side were salty. The Chickichanga consisted of whipped cage-free eggs with spicy, all-natural chicken breast, chorizo, green chiles, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, onions and avocado rolled in a flour tortilla. Topped with Vera Cruz sauce and all-natural sour cream. This was pretty balanced in flavors and delicious. The side of fruits (seemed unripe or old) and potatoes didn't seem to go with the dish. Whenever I come here the food is always cold. I got a call from the regional manager who said if I come back he would stand there in the kitchen to make sure that my food was hot. I politely declined because once he drove away the food would still be cold. I'm not as stupid as I look. A customer shouldn't need a big shot to supervise my food to make sure that it's hot. Once he's gone they'll go back to cold food again. Skip this overhyped chain and go to an old school restaurant. You can forget about trying to win me back. Mic drop. read more

I've had the lemon ricotta pancakes and the fruit topped pancakes, the Belgian waffle, and French toast, and all were delicious. My sister has always loved to come to this place but this was my first time. First thing is that I went around 12/1 on a Wednesday. Parking was great I got right In front. It was too busy but there was definitely plenty of people but it was not too loud or anything. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. Our food came out quick and I must say they are nott stingy with the entrees. I thought it was going to be one of those times where I enjoyed my meal but wasn't satisfied BUT NO I was very satisfied and even had some left over. For drinks, I had the Morning Meditation juice and my partner had the Purple Haze. Both were good but I really enjoyed mine and that it wasn't too sweet! For food, I had the Honey Chipotle Chicken Hash and my partner had the Pumpkin Pancake breakfast. We shared a bit of each other's plates but both were so so good! The hash was a perfect combination of flavors and the chicken was moist, which is important. The pumpkin pancakes were fluffy and delicious too! A Sourdough Surprise and Stellar Service at First Watch! I wasn't sure what to order when we stopped by First Watch, but thanks to our amazing waitress Isabella, I hit the breakfast jackpot! She recommended the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on sourdough--and WOW. She mentioned the sauce had a little kick, so she suggested I get it on the side. Great call! I added a schmear to one side of the bread, and it gave the sandwich the perfect hint of spice without overpowering it. Let me tell you, that sourdough was toasted perfectly (crispy but not too hard--total goldilocks toast status). The sandwich had a little arugula for a fresh peppery bite, and even though I'm not usually a big sandwich eater... I ate the whole thing. Every. Last. Bite. This was my first visit to a First Watch in Colorado after recently moving from Indiana. This location is in sort of a strip mall with limited parking. As you can see by my interior picture, they were not at all crowded when I arrived or at the time of leaving. My service was very friendly and arrived fairly quickly after being seated. I requested a booth and was accommodated. I ordered my favorite - Bacado. It was good, but not as good as my favorite Carmel, IN location. The omelette was not as big and did not have as much bacon. What a great brunch spot. I've been to other locations but this was my first time to the centennial location. Same great food and great service. We went on a busy Saturday morning but checked in online beforehand and were seating promptly upon arrival. The seasonal Gingerbread Spice Donuts were a great starter for our brunch and they were not overly sweet so the caramel sauce they came with was perfect. The pot of coffee was served piping hot and I like that they have flavored creamers available on the table. I also tried the Morning Meditation from the fresh juice bar which was delicious. For my entree I had the Frittata Rustica which came with a piece of ciabatta toast. The frittata was also supposed to come with lemon dressed greens but mine did not which was strange. I am not a fan of mushrooms in my food but these were well cooked and well seasoned and I ended up enjoying them. I asked for a side of cheesy grits and they were so good. This restaurant is a great go-to when looking for a fresh, creative take on breakfast or lunch. The food is always delicious, the service attentive and friendly and their restaurants are clean and an open concept. One thing I noticed about this particular First Watch different than the one we usually go to is the noise level of the dining area was a little irritating. There are a lot of hard surfaces in the restaurant that allow sounds to travel and echo. We didn't realize until we were leaving that there was a separate room we probably could have requested to the left of the entrance that was a lot more peaceful than the main dining area. I gave the restaurant 5 stars despite the noise level because they have no control of the level of conversations from the tables. read more

I ordered a bloody Mary which came out in a fancy bottle and my daughter got a caramel crunch coffee. Our food order came out so quickly - within five minutes of ordering. The vibes of this place was very cute! It was a farmhouse feel with cute wooden bench booths. The place was giving farmhouse meets Sur la Table. I very much enjoyed the Morning Meditation. It has everything I was looking for as far as juice vitamin wellness (a power shot, beets, turmeric, and more). I was so excited about the biscuits and gravy. When I ate it it was all so cold which made it harder to enjoy. The biscuit was a little stiff and the gravy was just not adding any support. To give the benefit of the doubt, maybe it tastes better when it's not cold? The fruit was fine but also was not the mix of fruit I was told when I was placing the order. Overall a decent experience but the food felt very generic (more like an iHOP) and less like a local brunch eatery. This is most likely because this is a chain. read more

What I didn't know is that while I believe all locations serve the same food menu, they don't all serve the same drink menu! This location in particular (Yosemite) does not serve alcoholic drinks. Imagine our dismay at discovering this only after we sat down and got ready to place our order. That being said, the food is good. The menu changes seasonally. At this first visit we got the: breakfast sandwich, biscuit and gravy and the kid's bacon & egg breakfast. The breakfast sandwich was served with the egg over-hard, which wouldn't have been my first choice. The single biscuit portion seemed small but was more filling than expected. My kid loved his breakfast. Overall, we had a good experience but would have loved some alcoholic drinks! We later realized that had we chosen a different location, we could have had them. This was my second time here and I got the same thing: the elevated egg sandwich. Even though it is pretty basic, it is executed really well - the bun is super soft, the egg is perfectly cooked, the avocados are ripe, and the greens balance it all out. The potatoes are also crispy and soft. My only complaint is that I do find it a bit too salty and overseasoned. I also got a juice this time: the Mango Passion Palmer and it was sooo good. The kids portions are really generous which was nice to see for those who love their leftovers. Service was good too. Little disappointing especially since it was like oscar meyer type turkey. Hoping it was "real" turkey and that there would be more of it. This location was very nice, it wasn't too busy around 11:30 and we were seated right away. I usually like to look ahead at the wait list just in case I need to be added on for long wait times.
