I enjoyed this nice brunch place with the variety of choices that they have. I got the truffle mushroom hash, it was too potatoey for me personally and I couldn't taste any truffle, i loved the touch of arugula that was included in this. We started with the the pumpkin spice donuts holes, did not taste any pumpkin spice, but they were still delicious they were accompanied with a cream and raspberry sauce. My friend got the breakfast egg sandwich and biscuits and gravy. I really enjoyed the sandwich as avocado and arugula was added.I was surprised that I actually really liked that touch. We've been to First Watch several times in the past, different locations and have enjoyed our meals each time. Check out one of my earlier reviews from a Yelp event to learn more about the history of the company and some cool details. Today, we shared a pumpkin pancake (soooo good). Just one pancake was plenty for us as we both had entrees as well. I don't usually indulge in a carb heavy meal, but I was so happy to gobble up my half of this fall favorite. Not too sweet (thank you) and still pretty flavorful. I had the Truffle Mushroom Hash (also tasty). The Hash was a lot of food, mostly seasoned diced potatoes, loaded with mushrooms, topped with fresh arugula and my over easy eggs just beneath. It was quite tasty and I was sad to leave the potatoes, lol. My guy ordered biscuits and gravy, also a rare occurrence for him. This did not disappoint. My bite was amazing. Cream gravy for the win. We typically don't choose eateries that are part of a chain, but man, First Watch is an exception. Good every time. read more

Not very happy with the customer service today. It was definitely a busy morning which is more than fair but I walked in and was clearly the first person waiting to be approached. Another woman walked in after me, however, the host looked at us both, giving some attitude and asked who was first and addressing the woman next to me. I don't wish to make assumptions but I will say I am a young brown woman and the woman next to me was Caucasian. This was just my first thought, of course. After the nice woman next to me kindly said that I was first, the host asked what I needed and I said I had a pick up order. Unfortunately, she claimed it wasn't up there then said she would look into it. After a bit, she comes back and rudely states that the pick up was for 10:45am and that it must have been taken by someone else. I understand that we were 40 minutes later, but it is food that I paid to pick up at whatever time I could. Additionally, I don't understand how $80 worth of food just gets given away to someone else. Isn't that considered negligence on the part of the staff for $80 worth of food to just go missing? After that initial confrontation, I was told to wait for 5 minutes to have the food re-fired, which was great. I however already had a bad taste in my mouth from the interaction and sent my spouse inside to grab the food. The same woman came up with the food and my spouse said she looked her up and down (my spouse was in pj's) and didn't say anything to her other than saying the name of the order. No hospitality was given in this visit. For a place called First Watch, you would think that they would treat active duty service members with a little more grace. read more

So many good things to say about Centennial Colorado's First Watch! First the restaurant itself is super clean and very comfortably laid out.( From what I am told most of the First Watch Restaurants have the same layout), but this was a first time for me in any of them. I was happy to see the menu had a lot of variety. Even the kid's menu had more than the usual chicken nugget or mac n cheese. I ordered the "Trifecta"- two cage free eggs, choice of meat and choice between Belgian waffle or harvest grain pancake. This was by far the best belgian waffles I have ever had! Our server Delphine was amazing- very helpful and super kind. Service was quick and super friendly. I can't say enough good things. I highly recommend a visit in if you haven't been! read more

Breakfast and brunch done right! Wow! "YEAH, it's FRESH!" Love this restaurant! I really enjoyed the ambiance. It's was my first time on a Friday at brunch. The restaurant vibe is very welcoming and felt like a great neighborhood spot for enjoying a meal with close friends or family or a quick work lunch. There are lots of seating options for smaller or larger groups. It's located in a mini shopping center near DTC in Centennial. Parking is limited but not difficult too find a spot during busy hours. The menu is pretty extensive with many options for all! I love that if you have allergies and preferences then the kitchen is very accommodating. I ordered recommendations --- the Farmhouse skillet with a side of sour cream (potatoes, LOTS OF BACON, tomatoes, onions, avocado, toast and 2 eggs), the yummy million dollar bacon (four slices of our signature hardwood smoked bacon baked with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a maple syrup drizzle) and the "MUST ORDER" MORNING MEDITATION FRESH JUICE (Orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet). I was feeling under the weather and this yummy meal was a perfect pick me up. Plus, I'm hoping the "must order" fresh juice helps me fight a cold! Side note, I also enjoyed the cup of coffee! Keep in their mind their coffee is a partnership with Mujeres en Café (Women in Coffee) - an organization of female coffee growers in the Huila department of Colombia. This coffee program "Project Sunrise" provides much-needed support to these women-owned farms. PRETTY COOL! I will be back to try more of the menu. SUPERFOODS BOWL (Coconut milk chia seed pudding with fresh bananas, berries, blackberry preserves and housemade granola. We come here pretty often for breakfast. First Watch is a chain; however, it doesn't feel like one. The food is always fresh, and it looks like the ingredients are high quality. There is also a rotating menu, so there's always something new to try that you probably haven't tried before. First Watch is a non-alcohol serving, typical hip/trendy/cool breakfast brunch place. It's not a greasy spoon, which is excellent. Plenty of those around, and they give me right upper quadrant pain. The food is decent (nothing truly mind blowing, but it's presented nicely and it's tasty), the beverage options are alright (no alcohol for you breakfast boozers, at least not at this particular location), and the service is prompt. The one frustration, though, is that one cannot get a mimosa with the bunching. That's why people brunch these days! The drinks! Gone are the days of the dîner-style breakfast restaurant with bottomless coffee only for bleary eyed church skippers; these days brunch is an event. And at events, we drink. And if there aren't drinks, the event is less fun. If they had alcoholic drinks of any sort, they'd get a 4*. And without it, they get a 3*. Not bad, just good. Not great, just good. Decided to try this place after seeing it around town. First off I will say this particular location is in a weird spot. Tucked at the end of a strip mall with limited parking makes it not the most inviting spot. However the food definitely made up for it. We had the biscuits and gravy with potatoes which was cooked perfectly! The flavor was amazing and such a good combination of textures. The Floridian French toast was a fun/ fresh twist on French toast. It had yummy strawberries, bananas and kiwis on brioche bread. I took my brother to first watch for a birthday breakfast. Last time I went to this location the food was fine. Today we arrived at 7:30 am only about 3 or 4 tables were occupied. The server was attentive and got coffee and water for us right away. We talked for awhile then ordered. When the server came with our food he said "sorry we made you both the wrong meal but it's pretty close to what you ordered" " we can make you the right order if you want" well we needed to eat and get going so I said " how about 2 for 1" the server said yes that will be fine ... the food was ok eggs were kind of dry and not a lot of flavor. When he brought the check he said "I took 20% off" my brother and I said after the server left " what happened to the 2 for 1 ... no big deal ... come to find out he took 20% off one one meal .. I still tipped 18% of what the bill should have been. Like I said not a big deal but don't tell me one thing and do anything. This was my first time here and I found the host and waitstaff to be very nice and friendly. I've read some of the past reviews from months ago complaining of the service and it could have been new restaurant issues which seem to be corrected by now as they opened late last year. The menu is different then a usual breakfast place and it took a bit to acquaint my self with it to see what I wanted. They offer unique drinks. My friend had the Morning Meditation which she liked. It was orange, lemon, turmeric,ginger, beets and agarve nectar. For food, I had the Frittata Rustica which was a good size and delicious. A couple of my friends had the Avocado toast with eggs, the Traditional and the Power Wrap. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. The location is fine and used to be the Egg and I. The parking is adequate. If you're looking for a traditional breakfast place, this is not. But we have many of those all over the place. I enjoyed the uniqueness of the menu and the atmosphere and decor was simple but updated and comfortable. I will definitely go back to enjoy another breakfast and try something else, and bring other friends and family. * Went to another First Watch today, at Parker/Iliff. Upon paying, my friend and I split our bill and handed the cashier 2 credit cards. The cc machine gave option to tip at different percentages. We didn't notice then, only after we had left, that the amount given by percentages was for the whole bill amount and not the split portion amount so the total tip we gave was 36% instead of 18%.
