Brutal Poodle is a fun themed bar- all metal, all the time- with some to die for dishes. Previously I have had their grilled cheese and well, it's literally the best I've had. This time, I gave their Mac and cheese a try- this was amazing as well. I don't know what they do to their green chili, but whatever it is they do, others could learn from them. Our server was very nice but also very busy. She accidentally overcharged us for a drink and it took a minute for her to see the mistake as well-all good though. Definitely will return here again and again.

The place is no fancier than a normal diner setting (though the vintage photos of Broadway are nice). But there is not a spare square inch in how the tables and chairs are deployed, and the crowd can required no less. This is not a quiet, or intimate, or even fully comfortable dining experience ... though the food and service make up for it. NET-NET: Compared to the Breakfast Queen down the street? BQ has more options, BoB has more interesting twists; BQ feels more diner, BoB is chock-a-block crowded; both places have great service. And, honestly, I'd go back to either of them.
