Well done patty made to perfection with cheese perfectly melted

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I NOW LOVE THE DIXON LOCATION!!! Vacaville Dennys got nothing on this spot. I will definitely be coming back. Everything I look for when I walk into a restaurant perfectly met my expectations * super clean (I.e tables, floor, bathroom, even kitchen and behind the counter seemed clean from where I sat) *super attentive server (Will definitely ask for Andy every single time I come) He constantly made sure my drink was filled and didn't need anything else. Even watched his interactions with other tables and he had a smile every single time he walked up and even made some cute kids laugh. (Even the other server Oscar seemed super attentive to his tables and kept a smile on his face. *food was absolutely delicious and cooked better than what I hoped for. (Ordered what I usually do in Vacaville and the cook here knocked it out of the park, even had to get her name ... Elodia btw) What more can I ask for when spending hard earned money and going out for a good meal?? Amazing service all around while dining here.

Denny's Dixon, CA # 6979 November 22, 2024 2:12AM Placed phone order from parking lot. Classic Burger, No Tomato, No Lettuce, Regular Fries $8.99 2:15AM Paid order #164662 in cash $10 bill to Danielle P. 18 Year Old White Female Neon Red Hair 6" Feet Tall 140lbs. Black Pants, Black Shirt, No Name Tag, No Uniform. 2:24AM Received order went home. 2:30AM Arrived home, checked food. Wrong order. Missing onions. Missing pickles. 2:40AM Returned to Denny's. Returned uneaten, untouched food, requested refund. Danielle P. said; "I can't give you a refund, you have to come back at 6AM, and talk to the manager. I started walking to the manager's office, and Danielle said: "I'm calling the cops". I left with the food, and receipt to return at 6AM. - Danielle P. taught me a valuable lesson. Do not pay for your order until you have checked it's correct. No refunds.

Lumberjack Slam (eggs over medium, bacon, sausage, ham, hashbrown, toast)

Came in early this morning. When we got there there was no one else dining at the time. The gal that sat us was super nice, we asked how her day was going and it was actually the end of her shift! So awesome to be so friendly even at the end of a graveyard shift. Our server was Oscar, he has really great customer service. I ordered the lumberjack slam and I substituted my regular pancakes for the cinnamon roll pancakes, they were amazing! My fiancé got the county fried steak breakfast. Got our order pretty fast and it was very good! :)

Spoiled avocado pieces i had to cut off of the slices i was given

Service was great, no complaints about that. I come to this location quite often when my parents come to visit me since I live in Davis. The other day, I ordered the Fit Slam and our server asked if I wanted to add Avocado and i said sure, aware that i'd be paying extra for it. When the food arrived, i couldn't eat half the avocado because it was black. Not black as in oxidized, but as in overripe and spoiled. (see attached photo). I knew i was paying extra and would have been happy to do so for some edible avocado.

I had the pleasure of trying their banana, blueberry, and strawberry pancakes, and I must say, they exceeded all expectations, this is like my 50th time . Beside pancakes their menu is pretty good ! Let's start with the texture. These pancakes are flawlessly fluffy, with a light and practically melts in your mouth. Each bite is a delightful balance between a soft interior and a slightly crisp edge imo. let's talk about the taste. The combination of the sweet bananas, tangy blueberries, and juicy strawberries creates a symphony of flavors it is literally so healthy , and compared to IHOP pancake it's just better . ( I have heard the opposite but I hop is more about quantity then quality). And yes I saw the waitress freshly cut my fruits :) What sets Denny's pancakes apart is not only their impeccable texture and taste but also their affordability. At just around $6, you get a stack of pancakes that will leave you feeling fully satisfied. If you ask to remove the sides . It's a fantastic deal considering the quality and generous portion size. I love Denny as an All American restaurant !

Service was good, but the portion size of the meals seem to get smaller and smaller as the prices seem to be getting bigger and bigger.

This is the slowest Denny's I've eaten at. The easy access to I80 is why I come here.

Service was decent but they were decidedly busier than they've been in the past. Ambiance felt like we were at...Cattlemen's. More of a sit down and enjoy yourself thing than Buckhorn with an older wooden feel to it. For kicks I started off with a Howdy Beer. Not sure who makes it, how epic it is or is not, nor any subtle notes of anything. It's a $4 can and it came with a nice cold glass. Potato skins, filled with the usual not-healthy-but-delicious goodness of bacon, cheese and green onions were perfect to start out. My Rodeo Burger was just as you'd expect from a steakhouse- wonderful beefy flavor with a rougher (larger?) texture than usual. So not like your average burger. Came with fried onions and sautéed mushrooms but we ordered a different burger (classic) so I put those onions on as well. Swiss cheese and peppercorn sauce made a great bite. Came with a load of fries and we subbed a salad for one of the orders. Didn't have any of the Raspberry Lemon Drop but heard no complaints about it either. They provided us with a supplementary gluten free menu so that was helpful. It's the place right off the freeway when heading to Sac/Tahoe from the bay and it's worth a stop. Dixon High School puts out a coupon book/card each year for a fee. This year the card costs $40 I believe so sure, throw in a bit for the Rams' seasons. Attached to the card came a cardboard ad/coupon page and there were two offers for $10 off of a $50 Cattlemen's purchase. So we used one of those. (Still have one more! Have to be sure to use it in the next 11 months) Left full with TONS of food to take home for a grand total of $49.93. They let it slide so a decent tip was left for our server.

I visited Cattlemen's over the weekend and unfortunately left very disappointed. I understand they…read morewere busy, but our experience was much worse than I expected for the price. We arrived around 7:30 p.m., and I had to ask more than once for water. After ordering, we waited about an hour for our food. By the time it arrived, we had already been waiting quite a while and hadn't eaten for several hours. Unfortunately, several of the steaks came out cold and were extremely salty. The kids' steaks were also incredibly chewy--possibly just the cut of meat, but they were essentially inedible. Most of that food ended up going to waste. The potatoes were also disappointing; they were hard and not enjoyable at all. We did let our waiter know about the issues. He spoke with the manager, and she did remove two of the meals from our bill, which I appreciated. However, we still spent almost $300 on dinner, and it was very frustrating to spend that much money on food that several of us could barely eat. There was also some confusion with the "Dinner for Two" option on the menu. The way the dessert portion and pricing were explained to us was confusing, particularly regarding whether the dessert was included or discounted depending on whether you ordered it. Overall, I expected a much better experience for the price. I understand restaurants can have an off night, especially when they're busy, but between the long wait, cold and overly salty steaks, chewy meat, hard potatoes, and the overall cost, I left very disappointed. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning.

I've tried a lot of different things on the menu but my go-to order is the Bleu Cheese Burger with Curly Fries and ranch. Every time I have someone visiting I take them here to get a burger and a beer and it never disappoints! They can get pretty busy but they have great service and they have a nice patio with heaters. It's also nice because it's in a good location across from the park and you can get frozen yogurt afterwards next door.

They have menus easily accessible right outside for you to look through. They have tons of choices, I just got the classic cheeseburger with pepper jack. He had the avocado burger. We ordered medium well since we don't like the pink in it when it comes to burgers anyway. The service was good and friendly. The prices were pretty normal. I like that you get a choice between french fries or salad. Of course we both chose french fries though lol. Each table already has ketchup, salt, and pepper. I like that there was just water that you can refill up yourself so you didn't have to be left waiting and can drink as much water as you want. They had a good selection of beers and it was a nice casual atmosphere. Wasn't too crowded, but I'm sure that might be because I went during a weekday afternoon. It was hot, but they had sprayers and fans going, which is nice. And although wasn't complete full sit down service, the workers still checked on us which I felt that means that they genuinely care about their customers. Now, the food! The burger was cooked perfectly with the right amount of char on the outside and still moist and juicy on the inside. The pepper jack cheese was melted, and the burger was seasoned well. All the vegetables were fresh, crispy clean lettuce. I felt like the pickle they either made it themselves or they get it from somebody handmade. And the buns also tasted homemade. We were both impressed with our burgers, however, the avocado burger, which he got had a lot of mayonnaise on it. So just a heads up they do put pretty much all the condiments on the burger so just make sure to specify what you want or don't want condiment wise when ordering. As far as parking, it's downtown so it's a lot easier to walk or bike to this location. However, there is some parking around the block and by the park - you just need to be aware of signs. I really feel like this place can host multiple different kinds of going out. We went out for a casual afternoon date, but of course there's families there, friends getting together, small groups of two or maybe even just one person and of course, larger groups were there too. I can see it being a kind of a cool date spot for more casual kind of date and of course I can see this being used as like family gatherings so I like that it's very versatile . We will definitely be back! I especially need to try more of their brews

The Cloudbreaker immediately met my taste buds with bitterness and then left my tongue completely numb for several minutes. Perhaps those sensations would have paid off if they were followed by a calming or THC-like effect, but I didn't experience any change in mental state. The comfortable atmosphere saves this establishment from 1 star. Dim lights, leather couches, chill music, and colorful tiki wall art make for a decent study spot or date night. However, if you're hanging out at a business, you gotta support it, and to support it, you gotta buy something -- I can't see myself buying anything kava-related with any ounce of enjoyment. Surely there must be some variation of a kava drink that tastes delightful. I don't want to spend any more money finding out though.
