Everything so delicious love all the outside seating. I'm not sure if it's like this every day but I went on a weekday and you order up at the counter they give you a number and you sit down. They have menus easily accessible right outside for you to look through. They have tons of choices, I just got the classic cheeseburger with pepper jack. He had the avocado burger. We ordered medium well since we don't like the pink in it when it comes to burgers anyway. The service was good and friendly. The prices were pretty normal. I like that you get a choice between french fries or salad. Of course we both chose french fries though lol. Each table already has ketchup, salt, and pepper. I like that there was just water that you can refill up yourself so you didn't have to be left waiting and can drink as much water as you want. They had a good selection of beers and it was a nice casual atmosphere. Wasn't too crowded, but I'm sure that might be because I went during a weekday afternoon. It was hot, but they had sprayers and fans going, which is nice. And although wasn't complete full sit down service, the workers still checked on us which I felt that means that they genuinely care about their customers. Now, the food! The burger was cooked perfectly with the right amount of char on the outside and still moist and juicy on the inside. The pepper jack cheese was melted, and the burger was seasoned well. All the vegetables were fresh, crispy clean lettuce. I felt like the pickle they either made it themselves or they get it from somebody handmade. And the buns also tasted homemade. We were both impressed with our burgers, however, the avocado burger, which he got had a lot of mayonnaise on it. So just a heads up they do put pretty much all the condiments on the burger so just make sure to specify what you want or don't want condiment wise when ordering. As far as parking, it's downtown so it's a lot easier to walk or bike to this location. However, there is some parking around the block and by the park - you just need to be aware of signs. I really feel like this place can host multiple different kinds of going out. We went out for a casual afternoon date, but of course there's families there, friends getting together, small groups of two or maybe even just one person and of course, larger groups were there too. I can see it being a kind of a cool date spot for more casual kind of date and of course I can see this being used as like family gatherings so I like that it's very versatile . 18 years after our first visit, we've returned. It says something about a restaurant that they are still here after 18 years. This time I went with their strength and ordered a burger, the lamb burger. It was wonderful, the burger had a bold lamb flavor (why eat lamb if you don't like that gaminess?) and the feta cheese went well with it. My husband ordered the Mushroom and Onion Cheeseburger and he wasn't too impressed. The onions were not sautéed enough and the entire burger had not much flavor. As before, the fries were so-so, they got soggy quickly. You can order your burger a la carte or for $2.40 more get a side of fries or mixed green salad. One orders at the counter and is given a number to bring to a table. We at outside on the patio. There were misters nearby to keep it a bit cooler on a warm day. Our food came out relatively quickly. Probably a poor timing on our part, did dinner right as this block was run over with mad rush of students and high schoolers, us five guys found a long line, friendly yet chaotic staff, and very decent menu! Nonstop noise and loud kept us indoors on the open table we were allowed only to order once it opened up. The burgers took ages, forcing us to finally inquire where they were. At least the brews appeared quickly, but that turned out fifty fifty. My red ale, amazing! Complex, full of bitter, warm, curiosity sweet, and depth, easily a winner. The strawberry mango fruited ale, not at all, a one dimensional angry drink without happy fruits or merry berries. Something went terribly wrong in its childhood. I have been going to Burgers and Brew for years. It's always one of my favorite spots, no matter if it's Davis, West Sac or Midtown Sac. I wish we had one in Elk Grove. I used to love getting the bacon and blue cheese burger, but I discovered the steak sandwich at the Midtown location and have never gone back. It's so good. Cooked perfectly to medium. It's tender. And easy to bite through and chew. Nicely done. On this special occasion, they had Pliny the Younger on tap in late February. Following them on social media is key to finding out when their locations will have the beer on tap. And it was worth it. Service was fast. What a delicious lunch!!!! Perfect for a sunny day. I got the Philly cheesesteak with a chicken Caesar salad on the side while my best friend got a cheeseburger with chili fries she got a chicken salad as well! burgers n brew is located right next to central park and one of mt favorite dessert spots yoloyberry! the menu selection has lots of options, and i always get the turkey avocado melt and it's super yummy! the restaurant itself recently got new tables and chairs (must needed) and it looks like they are trying to clean up the space better (it was pretty dirty before). the outside seating is spacious and really nice especially since the weather is getting warmer! the food is kind of expensive but worth it for the atmosphere! read more

Always a go-to stop when in Davis! It has always been a favorite among all of my friends, including myself. Whenever we go back to visit Davis, we always include Burgers and Brew. Of course during my last trip I did order it without cheese (which I understand kind of misses the point), BUT it was still as delicious as i remembered. I thought the avocado was very fresh, the patty was delicious, and I know the pepper jack cheese tied it all together. Updated review for 2024! I'm a fan of all Burgers & Brew locations (West Sac, Midtown, Davis). This Davis spot has been there at 3rd & C Streets since 2007 when I was still in undergrad! We came in after an event at Yoloberry Yogurt ended around 7 PM, which was great since B&B was open until 10 PM, a party of 3. Order at the counter/register, take a number and sit wherever. They kept all of our orders on one table but were able to split the check. They do have daily specials advertised at the register in case the regular menu doesn't interest you. Water is self-serve, straws too. Ketchup is provided at the tables, and napkins and utensils come with your food. I believe their burger buns come from Village Bakery in Davis. I'm a fan of their Smoked Aged Cheddar, Lamb Burger, and curly fries. They don't carry the Fuji Salad anymore at this location but that was also a fave of mine. When I'm not feeling like a burger, I tend toward the Turkey Avocado Melt (on sourdough) with curly fries. At the midtown location, I also tried their Buffalo Fries and those were hefty too. You can get garlic curly fries if you can't decide between garlic fries and curly fries! When I'm in the mood for a root beer float, theirs also hits the spot. I'm also partial to Sacrament Brewing's summer mango beer, but they also carry Pliny, Sculpin, Lagunitas, etc. Two single bathrooms and the porch wraps around and is open-air for summer and tented/fireplace for fall/winter if you can't find an indoor table. This is the original location and the best one! Their burgers are spot on the best I've ever had. Always going for the spicy bacon cheese burger. I like telling them to cut it in 1/2 for me, so it's less messy. Garlic curly fries are AMAZING, they don't skimp on their garlic. Also, you can ask for extra pickles as well. I'm a hamburger lover- especially traditional diner burgers or nostalgic burgers off the grill during pool days. Burgers and Brew gives me that nostalgic burger feeling. We ordered at the cashier and found a patio table for the 2 of us and our dog. The patty was nicely pink, lightly charred, but the bun was the "something special". It almost has a ciabatta-like texture. Airy, chewy- with this crispy crust. I would come back because there's something unique with that bun, and I would definitely get the garlic curly fries again.
