Kid's Birthday Pancakes

Honestly, I have not been to Denny's in a very long time, this place was so good! We came in party of 6 got seated pretty quickly and got our food quick as well. They were super attentive my coffee was never not filled. Loveee that! The pancake were so good, the birthday pancakes didn't even need syrup. The veggie omelette omg so good and fulfilling , I was full till lunch for sure! The salad was fresh and good. It was great overall, I had no complaints.

This is a great place to have a nice quiet breakfast that's located close to the Harbor. The staff here is very attentive and always friendly.

We should be happier than this

Jemmie is a wonderful, courteous, kind waitress. Our family will definitely be back here again for late night dinner/breakfast maybe even lunch lol. The food was good, it's Dennys so the pancakes are always spot on. Sabrina, order the patty melt, with mashed potatoes. We each enjoyed our choices. We can see the harbor from the large open circular seating. I prefer this Dana Point location compared to our local ones !

We stopped here from the Sawdust Art Festival before driving home because we got the munchies! This Denny's was different from any others we've visited. It definitely had the retro diner vibe. When we arrived we didn't wait too long before we were seated in a booth. Our server came out with the menus and gave us a few minutes to peruse the offerings. We hadn't been to a Denny's in years and we were surprised at how extensive the menu was. We opted to order from the 55+ menu. He chose the scrambled egg with cheese and I ordered the starter meal. Both plates came out hot and both were very tasty. I ordered the gluten free English muffin and although it was buttered it did not taste appetizing and the 2 pieces of bacon were tiny. Everything else was very satisfying. Our server was a man of few words but he was friendly and very attentive. We noticed he was pretty busy bussing as well. The coffee was very good and our meals really hit the spot. This diner does outdoor seating on the street side! It's very clean and bright. The restroom was also clean. This was a great spot to settle our cravings and we would not hesitate to return.

Everything. The eggs were all we needed. Everything outdid our expectations the experience was fabulous. Would 100% recommend.

The cold coffee
Lucas C.

The food here is always delicious, whatever the chef is doing back there he needs to keep it up. The coffee this time was unfortunately very cold and we did not get very good service. I feel like the service here is lackluster but the ambiance and location somewhat make up for it. If it wasn't for the location I probably would be turned away by the cold coffee and not attentive employees. Other than that I usually have a great time here. Just wish it was a little more friendly.

Not only was I thankful that my friend treated me to a beautiful and delicious lunch, but also I'm just so grateful for the views, service and overall good vibes. Hunter was our server and was incredible. He was helpful and attentive. As far as the food, we started with the soft pretzel and unfortunately it wasn't that soft. It actually seemed a little stale. However, the rest of our meal was 10/10! I got the chicken club, while my friend got the pastrami. Both sandwiches were so delicious and bursting with flavor! I also love that they have zero proof options on the menu. That's always a plus for me. Hunter ended the meal with a complimentary birthday treat and WOW...the chocolate cake was a small slice of pure bliss. I highly recommend it! Lastly, they even have complimentary valet. I will be coming back to Club 19 very soon to try more of the menu!

We all started with cocktails and then ordered a bottle of wine to enjoy with our meal. I was a little slower on finishing my cocktail but also agreed to a glass of wine with my guests. The comment to me was along the lines of "double fisting it tonight, hey?" I'd accept and laugh at that in a bar, but not at an exclusive dining location. Later we asked what the name "Raya" meant, as that's our pups name, and was told "it's stingray, obviously in Spanish". Not sure what's obvious about that since the menu isn't Spanish or Latin American leaning. Probably would go back, but would leave straight away if we were seated in the same server's section. Highly disappointed.

The ambience is casual but the ties in all the decor and them so nicely it made the vibe feel some what vintage island classy(if that makes sense) A nice surprise, it's not Hawaiian but more hybrid with a Filipino flair. Wifey and I shared the "easy breezy" she wanted something sweet and I wanted savory so that plate was able to check both boxes. Got the Longonisa sausage which had the amazing chunks of fat inside and they fillet it which gave more crisp texture. For eggs over medium perfectly cooked. Came with these yummy deep fried quartered small potatoes super crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Wifey got the Ube French toast with it which were not too sweet but still eggy sweet delicious with the ube flavor standing out. The toasts were thick and pillowy, with a perfect golden brown color. We also added a side of garlic rice. Let's not forget the vinegar dip with some chilis and garlic perfect acidity for the savory longonisa sausage if there was anything at all to improve it was the garlic rice. I was hoping it would have some tiny garlic pieces in it but maybe I got the portion that didn't have garlic gotta try it again! The staff was amazing quick and responsive I met the owners who are the coolest and sweetest couple. overall a great spot for a meal at any time during the day.

There are other places in Orange County to get a better breakfast in terms of food, but this location is hard to beat. There is a large free parking lot attached right behind the restaurant, so parking is very easy. Everything that we ordered came out very fast, and our server was very polite. For this visit, I chose the Chili Cheese Omelette and thought it was pretty good. There was very little cheese, however, and for some reason there were a lot of mushrooms in it, even though that was not listed on the menu. It wasn't a traditional chili cheese, and I would definitely not order it again or suggest it. Others at our table got the Traditional Pancakes and Eggs, and enjoyed their breakfast a lot more. 2 out of 5 stars I…read morestopped by Moulin in Dana Point for a cappuccino and saw the croissant egg sandwich, so I decided to give it a try. Between the cappuccino and sandwich, I spent a little over $20, so I was expecting a pretty good breakfast. The cappuccino looked great and actually wasn't bad. It also came with a little piece of chocolate on the side, which was a nice touch. What I thought was strange was that when I asked for it sweet, I was told I needed to walk over to the coffee bar, grab sugar packets myself, and bring them back to the counter. For an approximately $8 cappuccino, that seemed a little odd. Unfortunately, the croissant sandwich was the biggest disappointment. It looked great, but it had almost zero flavor. The most noticeable thing in my first bite was actually the crunch of eggshell in the eggs. For a breakfast sandwich around $15, I think it's reasonable to expect the eggs to be seasoned and definitely free of eggshells. The sandwich was basically egg on a croissant with a few very small pieces of bacon. Even a little garlic, seasoning, cheese, sauce, or something added to the eggs would have made a huge difference. It was also served with a side salad, which seemed like an unusual pairing for breakfast. I ended up taking only two bites of the sandwich and finished my cappuccino. I'm giving Moulin 2 stars because the staff were nice, the restaurant and bathroom were clean, and the cappuccino was decent. The place definitely has the upscale presentation, but unfortunately the food I received didn't match the price or appearance.

At RJ's Café in Dana Point Harbor, thick, meaty slices deliver genuine flavor and a satisfying texture that puts ordinary deli meat to shame. Paired with ripe tomato and Swiss on golden, toasted bread, the ingredients promise a standout lunch. There's just one hitch: This was supposed to be a melt, yet the Swiss barely budged. Instead of that silky, gooey layer that brings everything together, the cheese remained stubbornly intact. A little more time on the grill would make a noticeable difference. Served alongside crisp-edged breakfast potatoes and a pickle, the meal has plenty going for it. Between the excellent turkey and the harbor setting, RJ's earns its place on the lunch list. Melted Swiss would simply make the experience that much better.

My personal liability insurance covers me for exactly what I do: walk around, kibbitz with the guests, and pose for photos. That's all. Usually when venues/entertainment companies ask me if I carry personal liability insurance, I let them know that I do. Sometime proof of liability insurance is requested, and I provide that. Only ONCE before in my 40-year career have I EVER been asked to have the venue named on my policy for the event. That event was being held in a very high-security utilities building in downtown Los Angeles, where the rooftop area when I was asked to perform was rather dangerous in places. That was a major inconvenience but at least I understood fully as to why this particular group would request this. So, enter the Ranch at Laguna, lol: A dumpy-looking property that looks like it's in the middle of a construction site as you drive up, and has a ton of very dangerous-looking outdoor stairs in the "gardens"(?), not very well-lit, and leading to gosh-knows-what, hidden beyond the darkness below. The "ballroom" I was appearing in was rather small, and looked like a very common and average meeting room one might find at a Sonesta or other properties of that ilk. This is certainly not a property with any bragging rights at all, and they had the audacity to inconvenience me into not only providing proof of liability insurance, but spelling out very specially the separate amounts of coverage they require, and then asked to be added to the policy for the event, and even provided a very specific template to follow, and yadda, yadda, yadda. ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS and completely unnecessary for me and for what my "act" is. I do not use anything dangerous in my presentation. No fire, pyrotechnics, any sort of musical equipment, musical instruments, etc., which WOULD warrant such a request, as any of those things might possibly harm someone in attendance or any of the staff. I'm just a comedian who strolls around, and that's all. I had to jump through hoops to try and make this all happen, and was only made aware of that nonsense ten days before the event, while I was out of town on another event and wouldn't even be able to get to my office until five days before the party. I tried, and the proof did not arrive in time, but the events person made an exception to the person putting on the party, and while that might have been some kind of a nice gesture, she had to add: "...but we don't usually do that." Sit down and shut up, lady. Luckily, I did appear with no other hitches and my client and all the guests were wowed by me, and that is ALL I care about. I will NEVER accept an engagement at this property again, and will happily never have to face the absolutely anal-retentive requirements for outside vendors. I will also warn other entertainers to beware of the situation before accepting jobs there as well, and to make those potential clients aware too, so they can perhaps choose another venue to spend money on for their event, a suitable venue. This place ain't it. Buh Bye.
