The longanisa had a sweet and savory flavor that was so delicious, added with the rice and side salad was the cherry on top. The breezy latte was sweet and cinnamony. Visited on a Saturday around noon. It's quite popular and can be really busy, so be prepared for a long wait. My party of 3 probably waited for 30-45 mins but we were in no rush at all so we were willing to wait. They use your phone number at check in, which is convenient because we were able to walk around the vicinity to visit the neighboring shops. The aesthetic is really cute! Welcoming and cozy vibes with lots of pink accents and touches of greenery. There is also seating outside. I love the seats in the waiting area. I will say it can get really loud inside where it almost felt like I was yelling to talk to my party. Keep in mind if you come with children, please be respectful of other parties. This is not against the establishment but another party brought a bunch of kids and allowed them to be menaces. No form of discipline from the adults in the party whatsoever. I felt bad for the workers. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. I forgot our waitress's name but she was nice and was attentive to our party. Everything that we ordered was good! I got the adobo breakfast burrito and opted for chicken. Very flavorful! I will say just a little nitpick is that parts of the rice were slightly hard but still chewable. My burrito probably got rice that got cooked a little too long. We also got the guava breeze matcha, which was good. I love the guava flavor but the matcha kind of faded in flavor. I love matcha and I tend to like mine strong so take this with a grain of salt. My adult nephew got the calamansi refresher, which we all tried and agreed it was a little sour to our liking. Good food, extremely subpar service. Came here on a Sunday for brunch. It was about a 40 minute wait for a party of two. We sat at the bar; huge mistake. Despite being seated at the bar and making eye contact with multiple people at the bar for about 15 minutes, no one said a word to us, gave us waters, nothing! One of them finally took our order after those 15 minutes. We ordered the calamansi drink because they were out of the mango guava. Even that didn't come out for 10 minutes until we asked for it, and the lady that I asked seemed super annoyed that I asked for it and didn't apologize for the delay. In the meantime, the couple that was seated next to us had come after us, yet they got their matcha drink before we got a drink that was literally syrup and sparkling water. We got the ube French toast and loco moco. Both were tasty and I was happy with the food. The server that dropped off the food was also very nice (she wasn't one of the people at the bar). Only one person came to check on us, and he wasn't even someone that was at the bar. The three people the bar couldn't care less and never checked on us, filled our waters, etc. To ask for our check, my friend had to practically scream for attention. I wish I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars because it was truly a great experience. The restaurant is based on a Hawaiian/ filipino fusion and everything down to their classic dishes has a flare to it. My favorite part of the dishes had to be the garlic fried rice- it was perfectly crispy, the flavor was on point and not too salty + the rice was cooked just right. I love a savory breakfast and Breezy delivered with the Longganisa breakfast bowl. I would definitely add the vinegar although I normally don't add it to my breakfast it adds a nice tangy touch. They do get very busy and don't take reservations so I would recommend you get there early or put your name down + occupy a few hours because it can take a while to get a table. They do have to go coffee which is nice if you are looking for a quick latte + pastry. There is very limited seating, only two bathrooms so the line can get pretty long and sometimes the bar seating is assigned not first come first serve. My niece enjoyed her matcha though, said it was good tho could have had more of a matcha taste. There was variety in menu so we expected them to be pretty good. It's not a coffee shop, so no big deal but I would have probably been better off getting a regular drip coffee. Food was ok. Ribeye bowl was probably the best of all the orders; ribeye was perfectly seasoned, very flavorful. The Filipino inspired dishes were ok, not very authentic and served with spinach... didn't quite go with the adobo bowl in my opinion. Longanisa was standard, garlic rice ok. All the sweet dishes were good, basic - ube French toast and ube pancakes. They weren't fluffy, more chewy, but some enjoy it that way ‍. I think the American style items and sweets are safe, but the Filipino/hawaiian/islander inspired dishes were a bit weak. Their specialty drinks are so good - highly recommend the BBL (banana) matcha. And the food is a mix between American breakfast and Hawaiian and I'm not sure what else. We came across this restaurant from social media and looks really appealing. Tried this place last weekend and honestly this place was overrated. Their drinks are not as good as I expected. Me and my partner ordered the Honey basil ribeye bowl and that was good. The Adobo breakfast bowl was bland and has tremendously soaked the rice and salad that comes with it. The ube pancake has a very mild ube taste and was nothing special to it except for the presentation. We also tried their Calamansi that was more water and lacks calamansi flavor, the Ube Latte was just ok. Overall, our experience was both good and bad since we waited for over an hour to be seated even though they have a few vacant tables available. Decided to visit Breezy on a busy holiday, Mother's day. The ube french toast was amazing a must try. I have never experience french toast to be crispy & toasty in every bite after being smothered with so much toppings. This amount of french toast serve can definitely be shareable & it was worth the 30 minute wait for my food after being seated. The over easy eggs could have been left on the grill a bit longer as the whites were still raw inside. I am use to having my over easy eggs order with just my yolk watery. My guava matcha was good, a new flavor combo I had never experience. I do love all the tropical flavor options they have for drinks. Anyhow, a busy holiday calls for long wait lines, which is understandable, however not to sure what their workflow was on the cooking department. It seems as though they were prioritizing their pick up orders over their dine in customers. While waiting for my food order it seemed to me that everyone except for one table was waiting for their food order, while pick up orders were popping out like hot cakes. The place is lovely and trendy, but for how busy it looked, they really should have added more tables instead of their mini lounge living room set up. Our waiter at the bar area was great & so friendly updating us on our order and being attentive with us. Everyone was working great as a team except for one lady that was just giving orders to staff to clean & do stuff when she could have done it herself, not much of a proactive team player & I did not appreciate the disgraceful look she gave me when I ask if bar seating had a wait line. After having a lot of underwhelming food on our girls trip to this area, we were thrilled to stumble upon this restaurant. As a Filipino myself, I was especially happy! The owner, Jasmine, and her three children all provided very friendly and welcoming service. We even came back the next day for a second meal here, because we knew it would be delicious. The Ube French Toast and Ube Pancake are both so yummy and great items to share as a table. While I don't eat pork, my friends all raved about the Longanisa Breakfast and longanisa was indeed a staple in my house growing up. I got the Honey Basil Ribeye Bowl, which had garlic rice, a fried egg, ribeye, and a small side salad. The salad and pickled onions threw me off flavor-wise, but the ribeye sauce was delicious. The ribeye was a bit overcooked, but I'm sure they would have happily made me another bowl if I had said something. The service was just so exceptional that I didn't bother complaining. The inside of the restaurant is so cute and has a comfy lounge area with a decorative mural. The outside patio seating is a bit uncomfortable if you're wearing shorts or a dress as the chairs are hard and the pattern will dig into your skin, but it's still fine for dining outdoors when the weather's nice. They don't take reservations, but you can join their waitlist at the entrance upon arrival. Grab a yummy Ube Coffee while you wait! I went to Breezy on Monday and ordered a single pancake. The restaurant was busy, so I ended up waiting around 30 minutes for it. Honestly, I didn't even complain because I understand places get overwhelmed sometimes and I was trying to be patient about it. What surprised me was that a manager (or maybe another employee working the front) came over, asked to see my receipt, and voluntarily refunded me because of the long wait. I thought that was actually really nice customer service at the time. It made me feel like they cared and were trying to make things right without me even asking. But then today, Wednesday, I checked my Discover account and noticed the refund had disappeared/reversed. At this point, it's not even about the $5. I genuinely do not care about paying for the pancake. What bothers me is the principle of it. Don't offer a refund and make a customer feel appreciated if it's just going to get taken back later without any explanation. If the refund was temporary, accidental, or never actually processed correctly, then just communicate that. The frustrating part is being told one thing in person and then seeing something completely different happen afterward. It makes the gesture feel fake instead of genuine. Again, this is not me trying to complain over five dollars. I actually appreciated the kindness in the moment and probably would've left with a positive impression despite the long wait. But reversing the refund afterward completely changed how the experience felt. Customer service is about consistency and trust. If you promise something to a customer, even something small, you should follow through with it. read more
