Waitress messed up 2 of our 4 orders. We decided to keep one and have the other replaced. Took almost 30 minutes to get to replacement order to us, by that time we didn't have time to eat so we told her to box it up. She told us she would also give us the wrong food as they would throw it away anyway. As we were standing at the counter to pay, she came up and gave our wrong food (the incorrect burger that had already been served to my wife that has now been boxed up) to a door dash driver that was standing there waiting. I eat here a bit regularly. I know that they have been understaffed for a while. I will say that, while the food selection is okay, the staff, in my experience, have been great. Yeah, it might take them a little bit to get to you sometimes, but when they do, they are always polite and friendly. I know that they try hard to make their customers happy. So for that alone, I truly appreciate them. The reason this review is not higher is based on two things. First, it is ALWAYS cold in there in the winter months. When I go there, I have started to bring in an extra jacket because it is too cold. If it was summer, that would be fine, but it isn't. The second thing is that Friday-Sunday, they are supposed to have chicken noodle soup and it has been months now and they either don't have it at all when I go in, or just ran out (even at 3:00pm in the afternoon). That is probably my favorite thing there, and I rarely get it. Like I said, this has been going on for months, and doesn't seem like it will be getting any better, any time soon. Due to this, I have started to look elsewhere for this dish that I love. Otherwise, they have good service, the prices are pretty good, and you will very likely find something you like on the menu. After reading previous reviews; we seriously considered not coming here but I'm glad we decided to give them a chance because that would have been a mistake not to give them our business based on previous reviews. Our meals were excellent and made to order! Our sever (Sassy) was very kind and accommodating while we were there and kudos to our chef who cooked us a fine meal on the evening of June 11th. Any business would love to be perfect and win the hearts of every customer that walk through their doors; but in all honesty... every business has room for improvement. Positive criticism is important for a business but it's equally important for the business to act on any feedback given by others and taking corrective measures to help either rebuild a broken foundation or maintain the solid business you have have worked so hard for. Remember, it's the customers that keep your doors open and pays your well deserved salaries. My only feed back for this location is to encourage your employees to interact more positively with customers as well as their own co-workers. Came here during the covid-19 and every other table was blocked off. You would think it wouldn't be busy. We came in and there was only 8 tables being used at this time, maybe 20-30 customers not busy right? Well it took them 27 minutes to bring us chips with cheese on top. JUST NACHOS we didn't even get any other topping just chips and cheese. Finally we got our chips and probably another 30-35 mins go by before we got our food. Pancakes and chicken tenders. So I felt like it was time to finally write a review. I have been going to this dennys for a very long time, but unfortunately the bad just keeps getting worse. The last two times I've gone here, I keep getting hair in my food! What the heck is going on with their hygiene principles if I'm getting hair in my food? Immediate appetite killer, unfortunately. Thankfully they were nice and resolved the issue. The food has been subpar, even for a dennys, and not the best. Soggy hashbrowns is not fun when it's drowning in oil. Honestly- just a nope from me. Husband and I went there at 11 pm tonight for breakfast. We walk in, it's scary dead inside. No biggie. The town is dead so I don't put it on the restaurant. However, as soon as we walk in, I hear some extremely inappropriate ghetto rap playing super loud. I mean.... this is just not appropriate for anything but a group of 20 year olds sitting in their car kinda music. The young girl who served us was just ok.... The cook was all of maybe 19??? We order the build your own slam. It seems as though neither the server (who seemed to stoned to take her job seriously) nor the cook even know the meals they are selling or cooking. We got 1 piece of sausage with our breakfast, asked her why it's not 2. She tried to give us some weird answer that made no sense and then said she would hook us up with more sausage. We had to show her and explain to her that the menus states x amount of items. After what seemed like a really long uncomfortable minute of her trying to b.s her way through an explanation/excuse she finally understood that they were in the wrong. All the while there is still some completely inappropriate songs blaring from a stereo complete with all your favorite curse words. This music is NOT the restaurants music. It's the cooks music. And while I'm always down for some Post Malone- maybe not his most vulgar stuff on full blast in a DENNYS!!! The restaurant music is being smothered under 2 chains. ‍ Our breakfast was really no beuno. And there's no excuse considering that the cook wasn't making any other orders. Bacon was horrendous. Hash browns weren't even cooked all the way. Got butter on 2 out of the 4 pieces of toast. Once we got our correct order of sausage, it just became all disappointing. And that rap is still playing in the background. Finally we had it. Our meal was ruined by the food itself, by the terrible music, by the unknowledgeable staff and by the conversations she was having with the cook in the window. Joking about being a virgin and telling to scrape the ugly egg of our plate (this is when she brought our food out) Just none of it was remotely acceptable. This location really needs to do something about their staff. Just because it's the night shift doesn't mean these kids can turn it into their own personal house party. And yes, I will be calling management in the morning. I never thought I would have to but this Denny left such a sour taste in my mouth that I'm upset having spent $25 on slop by 2 stoned teenagers. read more

Seated fast, not too busy at 10am on a Tuesday. Coffee warm with lipstick on cup. Eggs were good, Sausage Old looking and hard like sat for hours or was reheated. Hash browns greasy and old looking/ hard. Pan cakes were large but crispy like bacon should be. Water was cold and toast was burned with an oil type spread, not butter. Service was good but did not make up for the poor food. Health department should look into Dennys for servicing food to more that one person. I give this place 5 stars specifically for the customer service. Obviously you get what you pay for, but the service makes it so your order is always correct and your drink is always full. Miguel always makes sure my family and I are comfortable and served, and even when it's busy we don't wait very long. I even use online ordering and get treated very well when I go in! Went there for breakfast, I ordered a simple breakfast scrambled eggs, bacon crispy, n hashbrowns. Scrambled eggs were runny, bacon fatty not crispy, hashbrowns burnt to a crisp. That was horrible waitress came over I told her bout my food complaint all she asked was do u want a to go box, which I replied hell no! She got my husbands order all wrong n she didn't care bout his being wrong he ordered the prime rib sizzling skillet n he got chicken I kept call her lots of eye rolls. Actually spoke to manager who didn't seem to care except for the fact I was bothering him from talking to the girls working there laughing n drinking coffee. No cares about customers. We visited this location this evening. My husband and I had special dietary requests and our server was very helpful and accommodating. The cook, however, needs to be a little more alert about how he makes the food orders. There was a food item in my salad that did not belong in my salad at all (not even part of the salad I ordered) and was something I am not suppose to eat. This could cause me some discomfort. When I brought this to our servers attention he realized the mistake and brought it to management attention promptly. This was very much appreciated! I was very pleased with this visit otherwise. One of my better Denny's experiences. The staff was friendly and they all seemed willing to help each other which is very unusual for most of my dining visits. Our server, HUGO, was great. He knew I needed more ranch when I had my mouth full and couldn't tell him and my water glass was only empty for maybe a minute max. I got my go to meal, the $6 build it yourself chicken wraps. THey were much better than the last few times I've visited a Denny's location. You could tell that the cooks showed up to care about the food and not just their paychecks. The dining area was clean and was one of the nicer Denny's I think I've ever been in. The 3 televisions in the restaurant were a surprise too. I'll definitely be back there for lunch. read more

Ordered on line, waited 15 minutes before I left my hotel to pick up my food thinking it'll be ready when I get there. Boy was I wrong! Had to wait another 15-20 minutes. 30-35 minutes for a burger and fries is unacceptable! There was a young girl working her butt off (Donna I think her name was), well, she deserves a raise or some sort of recognition because she did such a great job while there were 3 other employees at one end of the counter (and I think a couple were management because they were dressed nicely but not a Denny's uniform) just talking and not helping this young girl. I ordered through grub hub and was very disappointed when my food arrived. It wasn't what I ordered at all. Also it was very cold which was probably the driver's fault. I don't understand how a club sandwich turns into some kind of chicken burrito. I have ordered a few takeout meals and the folks there have done a great job having the order on time and with the stuff that I ordered. I appreciate the fact fact that everyone I see is wearing a mask. I also like the fact that Denny's has adjusted prices to reflect that fact that takeouts are competing with companies like McDonalds and Starbucks, and can't charge $15 for a bunch of eggs and potatoes as a takeout. OMG, HORRIBLE! The workers, most are missing teeth, look 100% like tweekers and lack in common knowledge of service. When I went it was three of us, me and my kids. There was about 4 servers and not one of them looked like they knew WTF to do. They sat behind the bar and talked and texted while people were waiting to be served. I ordered a salad and it literally took 33 min for 2 kids meals and a salad. She forgot salad dressing and syrup and forks, I had to go up and ask. I asked for a refill of waters and she said she was leaving for break after and If we needed something to ask another person. Mind you the food tasted gross too, the salad had tiny dribblets of avacado. lol Never again will I go and Im not the type of person to complain!!!Ever! read more

Went in this morning 7/13 at 5:30 am with my boyfriend and we had an older lady serving us. There was only 2 other tables there when we got there and the entire time we were there. Although our server was pleasant our experience was not. Both of our orders sat up in the window for at least 15 minutes before we got them and our orders 100% wrong and the food that we did get was inedible due to it sitting over the heat lamp in the window. As a self professed pancake connaisseur, I find the all you can eat pancakes for $4 the best deal in Carson. I enjoy comming in tottally not inebriated and very much sober and attempting to eat as many of these pancakes as I can. For the price they can't be beat. I enjoy how the pancakes take on the taste of other things that have been cooked on the grill. Some people disagree and think that the pancakes are worse because of this feature, these people are not to be trusted. In addition to the all you can eat pancakes for $4, I also like their coffee. The coffee is a steep step above hot Chinatown garbage, but that is what makes it so good. It has the true Nevada Denny's flavor, the kind of flavor that you would get from making coffee from someone else sock and a cast iron kettel. Some people dislike this flavor, they are wrong, their opinions are bad, and they should feel bad. Recently we had the please of having Alicia as our server during not a crazy binge drinking thc filled night. She kept the pancakes flowing! We had a non-stop jamboree of ice cream, nachos, and of course pancakes. I'm not one to brag, but my doctor says my pancake consumption is "concerning". Seriously. All. You. Can. Eat. Pancakes. Four.
