Once again service is outstanding and it is done with a smile every time. I am a regular at this location and I can say the other locations should take pointers from how management runs their shift. Danielle is the manager on duty every time I go in and I can say she makes it a point to stop by my table and ask "if everything is good or did I need anything else"? Danielle is extremely professional, friendly, and personable (kudos) to you. That makes the environment/atmosphere so much better and inviting to a customer. It is a trend that the servers (Sarah and Britney) adapt because they are always attentive and welcoming. Somewhere along the way this chain just gave up. Poor service, dirty tables horrible over priced food. Last visit I tried to get my free birthday breakfast. Had to pay extra for coffee. The coffee never came. The raw hash browns raw pancakes and slimy eggs came out and still no sign of coffee. Only thing that wasn't raw or under cooked was the burnt bacon. Three for breakfast/ lunch. We were seated immediately and drink orders taken immediately. My 17 yr old and I both had the strawberry banana smoothie. Delicious!! My husband had bottomless coffee, orange juice and water with lemon. My husband got the Black Label slam. The pancakes were light and fluffy and delicious! Along with pancakes, my 17 yr old ordered grapes. The grapes (side) were all very fresh and yummy. I ordered my sirloin steak medium and it arrived well, but it was still scrumptious! Sooo, I didn't really expect to eat here again but when I ordered from The Meltdown on DoorDash I unwittingly supported this establishment again. The food was hit and miss. The bacon egg and ham melt was quite good. The brisket melt was ok at best. But what disappointed me was the regular grilled cheese melt. The whole concept is to have melted cheese on the sandwich, thus why it is called a "melt." But the cheese was anything but melted. I might as well throw this on the stove and melt it myself. Terrific staff. They were shorthanded but were very well at notifying people of delays. My waitress Kathryn was very nice and always checking if I was ok. This is my preferred Denny's in this area. The restaurant is attached to a gas station/convenience store. It is deceptively large and has plenty of seating for its patrons. My husband and I dined in at around 12pm and we were seated immediately. We only waited about 10 minutes for our food to be delivered to our table. Our waitress was not super friendly but she was efficient and checked in on us a few times. We both ordered the french toast slam. Overall, your standard Denny's experience. We'll be back. read more

I've found truck stop restaurants are usually busy, the food is decent and the service is normally quick and efficient. I got suspicious when we arrived at 5:00 pm and it was practically empty. While we were waiting to be seated, a man who was waiting for a take out order told the hostess he had been waiting 20 minutes. Our waitress, Chantal, I believe, was pleasant and gave advice about what to order. We ordered a burger and an omelette. After waiting 35 minutes with no food we decided to leave. When my husband told them to cancel our order he noticed his burger was sitting at the service window and he was told it was ready and they were "working on the omelette." They did season the fries...tasted EXACTLY like Arby's curly fries. I was going to call about the bacon, when lo and behold...The Burger Den is actually Denny's. There's a reason we don't door dash Denny's... I guess they now have to disguise themselves to get people to order. Dirty tricks. 2 star rating because Arby's curly fries are the best. I wasn't sure what to expect from this location, Denny's are always hit or miss, sometimes you get lucky. I was extra unsure what to expect from this location as it is connected to a Flying J (a gas station with showers). Something about that felt off to me, but I was hungry and didn't feel like having traditional fast food so I stopped in. I'm very glad I did. The staff was attentive and super friendly. Very poor rude service. We were smashed into one small booth and waited an hour for the food. When it finally came, the portions were small, and the food was half cold and dried.
