Once again service is outstanding and it is done with a smile every time. I am a regular at this location and I can say the other locations should take pointers from how management runs their shift. Danielle is the manager on duty every time I go in and I can say she makes it a point to stop by my table and ask "if everything is good or did I need anything else"? Danielle is extremely professional, friendly, and personable (kudos) to you. That makes the environment/atmosphere so much better and inviting to a customer. It is a trend that the servers (Sarah and Britney) adapt because they are always attentive and welcoming. I want to say "THANK YOU" to both of you as well as the rest of the Sunday morning crew because the food is always on point. Don't know the cook but keep up the good work....! Table #53 read more

Think it would really improve everything. This is one of the worst places you can spend your money at on the road. The service is terrible and you better check your bags because they will leave off half of your order. Terrible. read more

Somewhere along the way this chain just gave up. Poor service, dirty tables horrible over priced food. Last visit I tried to get my free birthday breakfast. Had to pay extra for coffee. The coffee never came. The raw hash browns raw pancakes and slimy eggs came out and still no sign of coffee. Only thing that wasn't raw or under cooked was the burnt bacon. Thank you Denny's for a memorable birthday. I for one am done with this chain. read more

First time at this location. Service was great and fast! Food was very tasty & fresh! I got the boneless wings and the smash burger. Both were amazing. Nice quiet place located inside the flying J truck stop. read more

Three for breakfast/ lunch. We were seated immediately and drink orders taken immediately. My 17 yr old and I both had the strawberry banana smoothie. Delicious!! My husband had bottomless coffee, orange juice and water with lemon. My husband got the Black Label slam. The pancakes were light and fluffy and delicious! Along with pancakes, my 17 yr old ordered grapes. The grapes (side) were all very fresh and yummy. I ordered my sirloin steak medium and it arrived well, but it was still scrumptious! The mashed potatoes and corn sides were fresh and delicious! We were all very happy with our meals & the service today! Sarah B does an excellent job! This Denny's has redeemed itself! Will return. Sooo, I didn't really expect to eat here again but when I ordered from The Meltdown on DoorDash I unwittingly supported this establishment again. The food was hit and miss. The bacon egg and ham melt was quite good. The brisket melt was ok at best. But what disappointed me was the regular grilled cheese melt. The whole concept is to have melted cheese on the sandwich, thus why it is called a "melt." But the cheese was anything but melted. I might as well throw this on the stove and melt it myself. But then that defeats the point of ordering out huh?! Or maybe people actually do make orders and say "Give me a grilled cheese melt but hold the melt - thanks!" Maybe... read more

Denny's - This grilled cheese melt was apparently minus the "melt" as the cheese is clearly not even close to melted. - Diners Near Me - Carlisle, Pennsylvania

This is my preferred Denny's in this area. The restaurant is attached to a gas station/convenience store. It is deceptively large and has plenty of seating for its patrons. My husband and I dined in at around 12pm and we were seated immediately. We only waited about 10 minutes for our food to be delivered to our table. Our waitress was not super friendly but she was efficient and checked in on us a few times. We both ordered the french toast slam. Overall, your standard Denny's experience. We'll be back. read more

Terrific staff. They were shorthanded but were very well at notifying people of delays. My waitress Kathryn was very nice and always checking if I was ok. I've found truck stop restaurants are usually busy, the food is decent and the service is normally quick and efficient. I got suspicious when we arrived at 5:00 pm and it was practically empty. While we were waiting to be seated, a man who was waiting for a take out order told the hostess he had been waiting 20 minutes. Our waitress, Chantal, I believe, was pleasant and gave advice about what to order. We ordered a burger and an omelette. After waiting 35 minutes with no food we decided to leave. When my husband told them to cancel our order he noticed his burger was sitting at the service window and he was told it was ready and they were "working on the omelette." We left and we won't be back. read more

Took a hour for them to service me alone I was waiting for my boyfriend to finish in the truck stop shower and came back and they still aren't finish yet they service a big table before me even tho I can before that big table this place is unsanitary they don't wipe down tables they just take the plates off them read more

Courteous, kind attention to detail. Overall, experience has been great. Food is good.

We placed a door dash order from "The Burger Den". Paid 99¢ per burger for bacon that never came. There was 0 seasoning whatsoever on the burgers, 0 seasoning on the onion rings. They did season the fries...tasted EXACTLY like Arby's curly fries. I was going to call about the bacon, when lo and behold...The Burger Den is actually Denny's. There's a reason we don't door dash Denny's... I guess they now have to disguise themselves to get people to order. Dirty tricks. 2 star rating because Arby's curly fries are the best. That was the only saving grace here. read more

It was Saturday noon I stopped in at this Dennys which I had visited in past. They had Manager on duty who quickly got me booth and gave menu. Asked me if I need coffee, of course and water which he brought it right away. Waitress came right away after few minutes to take the order. My scrabbled eggs, hash browns and pair of biscuits came in few. Presentation was good and so let me get to it.,, read more

very good restaurant) I advise everyone) they brought food very quickly, I did not expect so) respect

I wasn't sure what to expect from this location, Denny's are always hit or miss, sometimes you get lucky. I was extra unsure what to expect from this location as it is connected to a Flying J (a gas station with showers). Something about that felt off to me, but I was hungry and didn't feel like having traditional fast food so I stopped in. I'm very glad I did. The staff was attentive and super friendly. They checked on me the perfect amount of times, and this location earned the "clean plate club." I will definitely be back if I am ever driving through the area again. read more

Ok lets get the worst first....potatoes the most neglected item in any restaurants whether is hash brown for breakfast or fries for lunch /dinner the fries was cold also large is more like medium Wendy's medium fries are bigger, but the build your own burger was very good as far as juicey,i notice the small tomato for such a big double cheese was a ripoff it was at the very end of the sandwich was when i enjoy the tomato the lettuce was fine oh i notice when i finish the season fries was when half the burger was in my hands still thats how i notice the small fries,i like to chew some fries at the same time i take a bite from this double cheese burger. read more

It's a Dennys, not a superb dining facility. It's not bad. Luck of the draw who's cooking at the time. Waitresses work hard and are very forthcoming. Food has always been done correctly here and wait time on to go orders about 20 minutes. Clean resteraunt, TVs for entertainment. read more

Basic Denny's food but weirdly rude service. Ugh...hate being treated as if our presence is an inconvenience.

This food is excellent. This place is fantastic.why are people leaving bad reviews I come here so much that when I order over the phone they KNOW it's me. Worst waitress ever. I worked in the service industry years ago. In fact in the early 80's a Denny's in langhorne,pa. I get how things get hectic. But you screwed up an order twice. Never refilled my coffee. Served biscuits so hard the penguins and flyers both could use them without loss of material. Then you had nerve to ask for a 25% tip. Sorry pack it in miss leaha f read more

Very poor rude service. We were smashed into one small booth and waited an hour for the food. When it finally came, the portions were small, and the food was half cold and dried. While paying the check, I mentioned politely to the cashier that we had waited too long but she ignored me. I emailed corporate about it and they sent me four coupons for hamburgers. Placed a to go order. Christina G acted as if I had personally insulted her by not sitting down inside. She was mad she wasn't getting a tip from a to go order. I'll normally throw a few bucks their way for placing my order if I get it to go. But not with the attitude she had. Apparently I'm not the only one with rude service at this location.
