    Mussels & frites with friends
    Jana L.

I just love the beer hall vibe here. It's not fancy, but always such a good time. Expect a loud, family-friendly, beer-forward place with friendly (if not busy staff) when you come here. I would never say that it is quick service, but it is always a great time! I can't really tell you about anything else but the currywurst and the mussels because honestly... If you are getting anything else on the menu, you are doing it wrong ... also, getting the frites with the curry catchup...catsup...ketchup... however you spell that word, IS.A.MUST! Seriously - what beats a cold Belgian Beer (and there are MANY to choose from), a 2lb pot of mussels (plus 1lb for an appetizer, because, why not) and an afternoon/evening with friends in a lively pub?!?

What a wonderful place to have a bite. My wife and I visit about once or twice a month and they never disappoint. Ask to be seated in Jeremy's section. He is an amazing server. Drinks never go empty, always comes by at just the right time. Really knows how it's done. Excellent service. The frites are AMAZING. Double fried so very crispy and crunchy without being overdone. Many dipping sauces to choose from. I prefer the mustard mayonnaise. My wife always gets the mussels appetizer. Always good. Mussels are their specialty. She also has gotten the grilled cheese the past couple times. Very good. I've found a hit with the pork Jagerschnitzel. Sooooooooo good. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Delicious food and cozy atmosphere in the heart of downtown Carlisle. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh and arrived quickly. So many great things on the menu, it was hard to choose. And definitely save room for dessert!

    Pork schnitzel with fries. Amazing!

I finally got to try this place for lunch and was very pleased with the experience. The beer selection is great and I was very excited to see Chimay on draft! The inside is typical pub vibes with dark wood accents. They also have a patio and the tables have umbrellas--it looks like a cute area. I ordered a burger with a salad as a side. The quality of the meat was excellent. The burger was super juicy, had a nice amount of toppings, and the homemade mayo was fabulous. I also really enjoyed the shallot vinaigrette dressing on the salad. My husband orderd a pork schnitzel with the fries--yes yes yes to this dish! I love schnitzel, but not many places do this dish. The mushroom gravy on it was creamy & rich. The breading on the pork was divinely crispy. Mmm. The fries are double-fried in beef tallow, so there are no complaints here. Our server was good and the prices were on par with the quality.

The atmosphere was nice and the waiter was friendly, I went here for lunch with my boyfriend and his parents. They lived in the area for decades and really never came here or maybe once. The Brussel sprouts were fantastic! I had the lamb burger which was really good, just a tad dry, but other than that I would visit again!

Upon arriving, we were quickly seated. Waited a few minutes for our server to bring water, but wasn't long. Just enough time to look over menus and figure out what we wanted. Plenty of beer & sours on tap and a full menu of beverages to choose from. Just be careful, some of these are really strong and you can get wasted before even getting an appetizer. Loved the cherry lambic and Flemish sour. The frites were delicious and so rich. I'm guessing from being fried in beef tallow. The lamb burger was wonderfully seasoned and perfectly portioned. Only downside was I asked for medium and it came out well done which put it on the drier side than I like. The carbonnade was sooooo good. The beef was so tender and rich in flavor from being braised in beer. The potatoes were so full of flavor from being in the stew. I just wished they gave a little more of the beef because it was so good. Had plenty of gravy left so put some frites in there and finished it off. Overall very happy with the lunch. Atmosphere is very nice too. Busy, but not so much that you can't converse with your party. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for Belgian food and a first time experience, stop in and enjoy!

We decided to take a drive in search of something tasty, and our adventure led us to Brewhouse Grill in Camp Hill, PA. From the outside, it looked like a small neighborhood bar. But once we stepped inside, the vibe completely changed. Bright lights, a welcoming atmosphere, and a lively bar area. The hostess greeted us right away, which was a relief since my hunger was hitting hard. We checked out the specials and ordered two classics: a flatbread pizza and a Philadelphia cheesesteak. As an Eagles fan, I couldn't resist testing how a Harrisburg area cheesesteak stacked up against Philly's best. And if you know me, you know I take pizza seriously think ninja turtle levels of dedication.‍ The pizza came out crisp and well-done, but the cheese was a bit skimpy, leaving me wanting more. The cheesesteak, unfortunately, didn't quite hit the mark either. Luckily, a cold beer and the friendly staff helped balance out the disappointment. What impressed me most was the atmosphere. Brewhouse Grill works for just about anyone: families looking for a quiet meal, sports fans wanting to catch a game at the bar, or summer crowds enjoying the covered deck with a DJ. That summertime setup sounds like a whole different experience, and I'm eager to come back when the weather warms up. Final Verdict: The food didn't wow me, but the service and atmosphere make Brewhouse Grill worth checking out especially in the summer when the deck and DJ bring the place to life.

Little folksy bistro setting where you can watch the crepe being made, with 50s crooner hits playing. 2/5 Service: Despite how nice the female server was and how they seemed to want to help us get food immediately, it was one of the most stressful, high pressure dining experiences I've had. The shop was small, but not packed with guests ( for part of it we were the only guests there.) They constantly were talking to us about their menu while we were trying to decide what to order from their huge menu, asking us to buy something we'd said no thanks to a few times (tea), asking us to buy more crepes immediately or get something else, and reminding us to follow their very unique protocol for how to order and then breaking their own protocol. I was completely overwhelmed in the first minute of being there and the pressure didn't relent with the crepe maker yelling out asking us what kind of crepe we wanted while we were just trying to decide. Nothing seemed malicious and they seemed to be aware of making good memories for our kids (gave us chalk, sparks up convo about where we were from, which we liked) but the high pressure made the experience hard to enjoy. (Note: the parking lot is very tight)

More kind and accommodating on the phone than just about any restaurant I've ever called. We came in like a half hour early, over the course of 20 minutes, cause we were traveling in multiple vehicles from ways away... I called ahead, but they said it was no problem at all. They were super helpful, I got drinks started while the rest of the party arrived. Ordered a bunch of appetizers... Mozzarella, sweet potato, waffle, fries, calamari... With like three different dipping sauces. Each of those was fantastic. Folks ordered burgers, chicken, cheesesteaks, traditional fair, like cottage pie, etc. Quantities were massive. Food was tasty. This was my second visit to Dalicia -- my first was for dessert (which unfortunately didn't win me…read moreover), and this time my adventure buddy was set on giving their dinner menu a try. Menu unseen, expectations unclear...so off we went! Knowing from past experience that the restaurant can feel drafty, I arrived layered up and ready for a cozy-but-practical evening on a cold February night. We walked in around 6pm without a reservation and were seated without issue as we were the only two people inside other than folks working. We started with the flatbread appetizer (feta, spinach, artichoke, mozzarella, mushrooms, peppers, scallions, turkey pepperoni on flaky pastry - $8), and honestly -- this was the highlight of the night. The pastry was thin and crisp, piled generously with toppings, and finished with what tasted like a garlicky sauce that brought everything together beautifully. Light, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. In hindsight, I should have just ordered a second one and called it dinner while things were still making me do the happy food dance. For my entrée, I ordered the Turkey Pesto Crepe ($12.25), described as sliced turkey, mushrooms, tomatoes, provolone mozzarella cheese, and sun-dried tomato pesto. On paper, this sounded fantastic -- a combination that should have delivered distinct flavors and textures. Unfortunately, everything blended together into one uniform consistency, and the individual ingredients didn't stand out the way I had hoped. It wasn't inedible -- I just lost interest after a few bites because nothing felt memorable. My adventure buddy ordered the Sarma (Stuffed Cabbage) ($18.95), described as cabbage stuffed with beef, onions, and rice, served with potatoes (his choice instead of rice). Again, the ingredients sounded promising, but the overall experience landed in the "fine" category -- nothing wrong, but nothing particularly exciting either. The potatoes fell into the same space: acceptable, but lacking seasoning or personality that might elevate the dish. We paired dinner with Pepsi Zero ($2.25 each -- note for fellow Diet Pepsi fans, they don't carry it here). Total for the evening came to about $55 including tip. It may simply not be my flavor style, but I'm always glad to support local and try something new.

The cocktails alone are worth the visit. The bartenders really know their craft, and the alcohol selection, including local beers, is solid. My only real issue is brunch. Every time I've visited after 12 p.m. (brunch is served until 2 p.m.), there's been a problem--either they're no longer taking food orders, the kitchen is backed up with a 45-minute wait, or they've simply run out of food. It comes off unprofessional and could definitely be handled better. I've noticed this becoming a growing trend during brunch service in general, and while some people suggest arriving as early as 10 a.m. for the best experience, consistency matters. If you're offering brunch, you should be properly staffed and prepared to serve guests throughout the full service window. Period. It's especially frustrating when you've traveled specifically to experience their culinary offerings and hit a wall like that. Overall, if you're looking for a spot that feels like a New York-style dive bar with elevated drinks and solid food--if you catch it at the right time--this place delivers. It took about 10 minutes before we finally had to flag him down just to place our order. When the food finally arrived, I ordered the macaroni and cheese, and unfortunately it was the worst mac and cheese I've ever had. I don't want to be mean, but it was very bland and really needed salt. My sister surprisingly liked it, but it just wasn't for me at all. The rest of my family did enjoy their meals, and I thought the fries were decent, just lightly seasoned. My mom especially liked the grilled cheese. The waiter himself was nice and kept our drinks refilled, so I don't think the long wait was entirely his fault. The restaurant is very cute inside with cozy, old-style vibes and festive Christmas decorations, which I really liked. However, between the long wait times, the limited menu, and my disappointing mac and cheese, I wouldn't recommend that dish. Overall, it's a charming place, but the service was too slow for us--especially when trying to catch a flight.
