My wife and I ate here earlier this week and the experience was decent they were busy so we gave them the benefit of the doubt that had it not been as busy it would have been a good experience. However, we visited again today and our server Natasha was extremely rude and certainly appears to have race issue as she treated us differently than surrounding tables. Our food took over 20 minutes, the manager had to bring it out and she had no idea if it was ours or not. The food was cold and when we told our server she did not try and resolve it. Out of all the nice waitresses we saw here I think we won the worst. Her name is Tasha. She was very rude and made us feel like an inconvenience. I usually tip minimum 20% but I could barely justify a 6% tip for that service. We first asked if she would mind giving the table a little wipe (cause it was filthy) and she walked over shrugs her shoulders and says rudely, "where do you want it wiped?" She then wipes a little bit of the table and says, "good enough?" I almost just said "yes" and left it dirty... The way she took the orders, delivered, and then finally cleaned the table reaching all the way to the back of table, roughly grabbing plates and ripping the placemats out from under my son's hands. It was kinda one of those things you had to see to believe how truly bizarre it was. It's also too long to explain here. I'm not a hard person to please. I usually tip well, even with bad service, but her bad attitude and rude behavior was just a bit more than I felt like rewarding this time. I watched and heard the other waitresses and they seemed quite friendly. On another note, I had the Philly Cheesesteak omelette. There were A LOT of undercooked onions in it that i had to pull out as many as I could and the egg part was quick thick and dry. I wasn't able to finish it. CHEERS. read more

Usually the service here (especially at night) is average/below average, today our waitress was Lisa Marie and she's the best server we've had, was sure to leave her a big tip. Not a stand out Dennys but the food is good and some of the staff definitely make up for the others. read more

We went here for lunch and it was not busy at the time. It was around 1:00 pm, and it was quiet. We we're seated in a booth and a waitress named Natasha came to us to give us menus and take a drink order. Her attitude seemed to be that she didn't want to be there and that it was an effort to wait on customers. I ordered a Cobb salad and it came out missing the avocado and the hard boiled egg. I asked her for the avocado and she brought it out, but it had just been cut; still no egg. All said and done, the experience was a poor one, which went with the attitude of the waitress. It's absolutely what it makes itself out to be. My friend Suzi of 60+ years and I have a 3 hour breakfast here each year. I have a cheese omelette and bacon and lots of coffee. So does she. WOW! Can it really be that Denny's doesn't have any reviews yet? I've turned my nose up at Denny's for many years now. My memories of Denny's are of late nights, post parties in high school. Running short on time before catching a mid-day intl flight, made a quick dash in for some breakfast on the fly. My friend and I ordered up a storm. I forgot how good pancakes and hash browns could be. The shock and awe was when the bill arrived and it was only $14. HUH?? The amount of food on the table and drinks would have been at least $50 on South Beach. We're in a recession and I think I may be going back to Denny's soon. Used to be a 5 star Denny's for sure. I would have chosen this Denny's over any diner for breakfast, but not anymore. The servers are rude, everyone that works there seems to hate their job and it flows down to the customers.... From horrible food to the extremely slow service-breakfast shouldn't take 1-1/2 to 2 hours, that's ridiculous and when you ask for things like sugar and creamer it takes over 10 mins to get it..... I am a huge tipper, I feel super strongly about tipping and this past weekend was the first time in my life I paid and did not leave a tip. Ordered take-out and got the fit fare veggie omelette. When I called the order in the woman on the phone said they ran out of mushrooms and spinach and if I'd be ok with peppers and onions. Later once home I found they forgot to include the fruit and turkey bacon it's supposed to come with. I had even confirmed on the phone that the order came with fruit and there was none. The omelette didn't even have any peppers and onions and instead had broccoli and squash. It tasted fine but I don't understand the break-down in communication. 3.5 stars Let me start off by saying, I like Denny's. When I lived in SoCal, you could find Denny's everywhere. When I moved to PA, they were few and far between, so for a few years, I wasn't able to satisfy my Denny's craving. So when I moved down to FL and found there were plenty of Denny's, I was kind of happy! When you just want a cheap meal that'll make you feel full, Denny's is there for you - breakfast, lunch or dinner! Why the 3 stars? I didn't have any particular problems with this location - I got my food exactly how it was described (it was a chicken bleu sandwich), and service was top notch. On the other hand...it's Denny's. It's a chain and the food, while filling, is alright. If you are looking for a quick and cheap bite, this is your place to go. If you are nursing a hangover from getting crunk the night before, this is your place to go. If you'd like to take your lady out to a nice meal, clearly, look elsewhere. We waited and waited for our breakfast order and then waited and waited again for our check. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The employees are SO insanely rude! I walked in and the lady upfront completely ignored the fact that we were there. After 5 minutes of awkwardly standing there waiting for assistance she pointed to a booth and said "go sit down someone will be right with you". We sat down at this booth and they did not give us any menus. No server came up to us so after 15 minutes I finally went up front and said something. 20 minutes later the rudest server came up to the table, didn't even greet us just stared at us waiting for us to order. "Our Trip to Boca" We were heading back to Orlando, after spending the better part of a week at the Boca Raton Resort, which is a Waldorf property. We wanted to "fuel up" and Denny's is a great place for each member of the family to have a great selection of items. I had the Grand Slam Sandwich, which was overwhelmed by the breakfast sausage; and, was nearly unpalatable; I took half home; but, never finished it. I don't remember what my wife ordered; and, our daughter rarely eats breakfast. Nevertheless, I know that I DON'T like the new buttermilk pancakes -- too much vanilla makes them taste like dessert, not breakfast! This was the best Denny's I've ever been to. Waitress was great to her name was Kailey. Took great care of us and the food was great. I even went and told the manager how good it was. Reviews are not for just leaving bad comments... At least that's my belief. I've lived in the Boca area for 11 years and never been to this Denny's because there's onefor blocks from my house on 32nd St. and Federal. Very confused. I get the hearty 9 grain pancakes every time I come to Denny's and I've been to probably 50 Denny's over the country and these have tasted really weird the past 3 times. The first time I was like ok this is spoiled but let me try again and then they tasted normal the second time, but the past 2 times since they have tasted weird again... sort of like bananas? Or spoiled? I don't know they taste very strange and I'm just wondering what it is if this Denny's makes them differently with different ingredients? But they did taste normal one of the times. So here i am waiting with my family for our breakfast to be served..so far we have had the following unique experiences: 1) The waitress forgot one coffee. When i brought to her attention she said "oh you only asked for water". Maybe i expected too much an apology would have been nice. 2) She brought out the coffee, dropped the cup on the table, and left without a word. 3) To our horror we noticed lipstick on the cup from a previous drinker. 4) After waiting 10 minutes we got the attention of the waitress. She grabbed the cup replaced it and left without a word. 5) Now that we all had our coffee, we reached for the sugar. SURPRISE. There was no sugar. This time my wife tracked down the waitress and to her credit brought over 10 packages and placed them on the table in her rushed manner. They made us wait forever then I ordered a chicken sandwich n they gave me beef n took all my fries n sauce so had to wait for them to make the whole thing over n fries n get new sauce n had to ask for mor water. I have not been to this location in about 6 years. Last time here the management was awful, carpet smelled, food and service horrible but that has all changed. I study late nights and everything is closed. I don't like to study at home because I get distracted, so I figured I would come in for a cup of coffee the other night because its hard to screw up coffee. Anyway I was surprised everything has changed. The carpet was replaced with tile, servers very friendly, service fast, and food fantastic. Nathan was my server two nights in a row. I quite enjoy the WiFi and the outlets built into the tables. Food absolutely delicious. Salads nice and fresh. Anyway I was told management had changed a while back. What a difference. I've been coming into this Denny's for almost 11 years now and it is the BEST Denny's I've ever visited! The consistency of their service, food, staff, cleanliness, managers, you name it is exceptional! I've become like a part of the family in this place and not a "customer" and I love that feeling. These people have become my dear friends over the years and I've seen many come and go. The current GM is a great manager and she does a fantastic job overseeing everything. We have been going to Denny's for many years, and many different locations. Boca Raton area not enough diners. So Denny's has been our go to . This location seems to be very disappointing. Management looks disheveled, glasses (plastic) need to be replaced. Usually we don't send food back because my husband does not trust what would happen in the kitchen, however this time I had no choice. How wrong can you go with a grilled cheese and ham on wheat??? Well, one slice of cheese, one slice of ham nothing melted to the bread. Daniella our waitress was very good about it. She saw the problem immediately and took it to the manager. It was fixed to a degree. What we should have done was paid for our beverage and left. I wish we had more choices in this area. Must come up with another place to get a good grilled cheese.
