Horrible Denny's place I've been too. The food and service were just god awful. And to top it off, the bathrooms looked and smelled like shit. Are you guys cooking Shamu in the bathrooms? Cause, that's what it smells like when I stepped inside. The sausage and eggs have an aftertaste and overall horrible. My daughter said the hospital serves better sausages, which is highly embarrassing. Do me a favor, and higher better people who can speak clearly . After waiting for over 15 minutes to see a waitress... finally ordered drinks and breakfast. Asked for our hash browns to be upgraded to the "everything hash browns." When our meals came out one of the plates had all the everything toppings on the eggs and not the hash browns and the girl said "sorry" as she served them. The cheese on the other hash browns never even melted they were so cold. Ham was burnt. Pancakes were cold. $40 for 2 terrible meals. No thanks. read more

I called the manager of this location told them this is the second time my order wasn't mine from door dash. They blamed the dasher I laughed at her and told her that they don't touch the damn food, that's your job. They just deliver it. Still blamed door dash. Pathetic humans. Tried to place an order online but wouldn't work so I called the restaurant. We were staying at the motel 6 across the street so it was super convenient. Girl on the phone (I forget her name) was awesome. She was really helpful and cheerful and when I walked over to pick up our food she had it ready there for us and made sure I had everything we needed. Food was good and priced like it is at every other Denny's I've ever been to. 5 stars for the service, the food was still warm when I got back to our room and it was all correct. read more

I like this Denny's for the most part -- the ambience is nice, the waitstaff is friendly, and the food is pretty good. But last night I ordered the Beyond Burger and what I got was the same kind of mushy regular old veggie burger that Denny's has been serving for 20+ years. The staff here is scamming people. Shriveled pieces of bacon (one bite small), the french toast was bland (at least they topped it with huge mounds of butter), the eggs were eggs. LOL. I am shocked by my experience here early this morning, 6/20/19. I don't eat at Denny's often and I may not go back for a really long time, if ever. ATMOSPHERE: We came in around 12:50am, and were met by a gentleman by the name of Dylan who sat us surrounded by dirty tables. Ok, maybe he was busy. ‍ The entire time we were there (about an hour) the server walked by trash on the floor over and over again. Nobody wants to eat in a dirty or messy restaurant, pick it up, bus your tables! SERVICE: After sitting for a few minutes we (my daughter and I) decided to share the sampler with 4 items (onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and double buffalo chicken wings) a side of bacon and a cup of soup (loaded baked potato). We sat for what seemed like forever for only ordering one item so I looked towards the kitchen and noticed our food sitting there, in the window, cooking longer with the heat lamp. Our server must of walked by that food sitting there at least 4 times. One of the times he walked by I noticed him watching the tv. He finally spotted me eyeing our food and brought it over, by this time my water was almost empty and we had a dirty soup bowl sitting on the edge of table. He scurried away and came back with buffalo sauce, no ranch, no marinara, no water, and no extra plate since we were sharing. We asked for ranch and 2 extra plates, hoping he'd notice the empty water glass, I didn't want to seem too needy. He didn't notice, I literally was slurping trying to get his attention since he never ONCE came and asked us how things were. I watched while he filled himself a glass of water, took a big drink and went "aaaahhhhh!" At this point I'm just laughing and shocked at the experience. I just wanted to leave. I had to stare him down to get his attention and when he finally noticed my stare he looks at me and says "check?" We proceeded to the counter to pay and I asked for the local discount, TWICE, didn't get it. He then at that point asked how things were, and I was honest and said horrible. He replied with a "it's Denny's, what do you expect." WHAT....he then kept going saying, "I don't like Denny's, I don't eat here." I lost it!! There's so much more I can say about this but I think you get the point. He didn't appreciate my constructive criticism. He ended up not only being clueless but rude too. I ALWAYS tip, but this time I did not. FOOD: loaded baked potato soup, not hot at all, very watery, salty, about 3-4 pieces of potato, NO cheese, no sour cream. Why's it called LOADED baked potato? Bacon: one piece cut in half for $2, yikes! Sampler 4 items: 4 pieces of burnt chicken pieces, mozzarella sticks and onion rings, no ranch, no marinara. Onion rings were good. Arrived about 11am with a party of 15. Our party was sat right away and surprisingly it was not busy. Some of the employees looked like they didn't know what they were suppose to be doing. Granted they were very young and maybe there first job. 15 mins later we got our drinks and asked for straws, the guy said OK but never came back. After that I had to walk to the front to get our menus since they never brought us ours. We then placed our order, We tried to make it simple as possible and the waitress that took our order seemed to know her stuff. When the food came out 20mins later she blindly passed out the plates and we had to re-arrange them and give them to the right person at the 2 tables we were sitting at. We had to ask for napkins and silverware as well after getting our food. She forgot all of our toast and got some of our plates wrong. After we had her correct them she seemed to ignore us and did not want to come back until we flagged her down for our check and to go boxes. She brought our check and got upset when we only tipped her %18 she never came back with our to go boxes. Our food was OK, my eggs benedict looked and tasted like it been sitting out under the heat lamp. My kids chocolate chip pancakes were very good, they ate them all. The worst Denny's I've ever been too !!! Out of town and wanted to eat somewhere that was known. We get inside and it wasn't that busy, a lot of open sitting and plenty of staff, however it took a while to sit us down. Once we sat down they forgot about us, we were ready to order and our waitress took our drinks and never returned. We ended up flagging down another waitress to help us out. Pretty much the quality of service was poor, from the time we got there till the time we left !! Now onto our food: we all ended up ordering. Our food came out to us and a few things were wrong. Mine being that I asked for the pancake puppies, the ones for breakfast and she brings me out the dessert ones. I proceeded to tell her that I didn't order the dessert ones and she said that's all we have.. um ok ? Needles to say I didn't end up eating. My dad and brother ate there food, however the skillet my dad got he mentioned a lot of the food was either burnt or not cooked all the way.. there was no happy medium. Denny's is a perenial favorite when I think of American Diners. We stopped by after a long weekend of snowboarding. We had missed the window for Schatz's so we decided to hit Denny's instead as it was one of the few places still open in Bishop late at night. Patricia W. was our waitress and she took great care of us. I chowed down on the Green Skillet and paired it with an Iced Capuccino. The food was served piping hot and quite quickly as well. Ordered chicken strips with onion rings. Onion rings were cooked perfect and taste was good. "Chicken strips" were over fried, size of nuggets and hard as a rock...tasted burnt. Before I even tasted I asked to get less burnt, was told that if they cook them less they will not be cooked inside, so decided to try since I figured they would not continue to serve like that if they do not taste good...so wrong. I ate 1/4 nuggets, tried to eat the others but they were all even more over cooked than the one I did eat. Coming in for a small road trip, stopped by for some dinner. It has good food, was quick, and clean! No complaints! I forgot our sever's name but she was a very kind lady and 10/10 customer service, same to (I'm assuming) the busboy Derik! The plates served barely with nothing in the plate. Both Santa Fe plates doesn't have any sausage either. When we asked, the waitress said that they are running oout of sausage. That's why! Fuck that excuse and this is totally cheating. If you don't have it you should let us know when we are ordering.
