My previous review still highlights my experience at this restaurant but I wanted to update my review to make others aware before they visit! This place was recently closed down temporarily due to a cockroach infestation on January 8th and has since reopened on January 10th after a follow up visit. Under health score on their Yelp page it states they received a score of "A" on January 8th which is not accurate and needs to be updated to not mislead customers. Especially when there's a coupon I can use through the app. Most of the Dennys that I've been to have very great service and that's including this location. Came here on a Friday night and there was plenty of parking since most of the stores they share a parking lot with were closed. I ordered an everyday value slam, classic sampler, and crispy bacon ranch sandwich. The classic sampler comes with buffalo boneless chicken, onion rings, fries, and mozzarella stick. I noticed on the app, we are able to pick up to 4 sauces but the waitress who took my order never asked me what sauces I wanted and only gave me marinara and ranch sauce. I would have loved to get some other sauces since the sandwich I ordered also came with a side of ranch so everything basically tasted the same to me. Overall, I enjoyed everything in the sampler except for the boneless chicken. I thought it was too salty for me. I wasn't able to take more than two bites because of how salty it was. The sandwich was ok to me. The chicken was crispy and juicy but it was a little too greasy. read more

However, the eggs were supposed to be over-medium, but they were overcooked and didn't have a runny yolk. My mom liked her Cali Taco Skillet but noted that it didn't match the menu picture. The menu showed avocado slices covering the plate, but her dish only had a couple of slices. She also found the green salsa a bit too spicy, and it wasn't shown in the menu picture, yet it was spread over her plate. The service was a letdown. Our server, a young woman, never checked on us and only came by to drop off the check. Overall, the food was good, but the experience could have been better with more attentive service and dishes that matched the menu descriptions. read more

My family and I went to enjoy breakfast Saturday morning for my daughter birthday, we were greeted with a smile by Paula who was so nice and very friendly. I did scare her for a second when I said I needed a table for 15 people but I was joking lol she was so friendly and helpful. The server was friendly. We ordered the grand slam breakfast and the Philly cheese omelette. Grand slam was good. Literally hasn't changed since I was a kid. The omelette came out, filled with cheese and sautéed onions and peppers with a few pieces of very overcooked steak on top. Was more like pot roast chunks than anything. The Hash browns were cold. Whatever - It's Dennys. It was still ok for the price. The issue I have is that we were standing at the host podium waiting to pay, but a man was up there for a long time asking about substituting ham in his $9.99 special... going back and forth with the servers if that was allowable... blah blah (he was a regular because they called him by name). We got tired of waiting and paid via the QR code on the receipt. Easy. As we were backing out of the parking spot, a hostess comes up to the car and immediately says, "We have you on camera leaving without paying!" We said, "We paid via the QR code and showed her the paid confirmation on our phone." She said, "It's not in our system so you didn't pay." Again we stated we did pay and she is incorrect. She asked to take our receipt and said she'd be back. Waited another 5 minutes and she didn't come back. I walked back inside and she was no where to be found so I asked the other hostess if they got it figured out... to which she replied, "Oh yes you guys are good." It's not a fun way to end breakfast by being accused of walking out on a bill. Check your system before you just make accusations. Or better yet, check yourself. If you are going to offer a pay by phone QR code service, also train your employees how to verify payment and maybe send them to a customer service training or two. There are better ways this could have been handled. read more

I had the privilege of dining at this good ole fashion American establishment. As soon as I stepped in I could smell the roasting coffee, butter lined griddle, and the faint smell of a cigarette. Take that how you will, but it made my inner child feel safe again. The services was fantastic and I think our servers name was Samantha. Once our food came out I knew I made the right decision of stopping here instead of that damn IHOP down the street. While we're on the topic of IHOP, who actually goes there?
