The service here has always been solid and actually improved after the new management took over- kudos to the team for that. That said, during my last two visits, I noticed the portion sizes have noticeably shrunk. A regular bowl now feels more like the mini bowls I usually get for my kids. I often come here to order, and their food is always so delicious! I honestly think this is the best spot in Baldwin Park compared to other locations I've visited. The customer service here has always been amazing. I'm always greeted by someone as soon as i open the door. The inside seems to always be clean too. What I don't like is that the portion size has been considerably low. What I pay is definitely not worth it for the amount of food I get. I used to get a good portion of veggies and rice and chicken. This review is based on the salmon plate only. The flavor is good and especially when it's cooked just right it really hits the spot. Fresh and healthy, you even have the choice of white or brown rice. Sometimes I like the salmon cooked almost burnt, I note a change in flavor almost Cajun-like. The place looks clean with enough parking spaces, but it gets packed around lunch time. I noticed a few black and whites parked outside. I feel safe already. Lol Haven't tried eating in, I get my food to go so I haven't noticed the uninvited guests with wings. I'll be back for sure for another salmon plate to go. read more

1st off got not just my order wrong, also ppl ahead of me. Took 20 min to get food 3 small orders. When we got our food 1 plant base beef, 2 chix. They were very light the plant base was $2.00 more than chix and I only got 5 pieces. Also the rice was low. The person chopping and placing meat in bowls was really skimping on everyone. I could not believe I paid that much for getting so little. The three ppl working were not communicating well and look tense. I hope this was just an off day and business is better than that. This was my first time eating here. Went to take my daughter out for lunch. Ordered Two chicken bowls one with veggies. They tasted fine nothing special but still good. My problem Was when I left I saw a sign for two dollars off two chicken bowls. I brought it up to my daughter and she said maybe cause mine has veggies. So I asked to talk to the manager and said it was cause I ordered one with veggies. This was my first time eating here. I didn't care about ordering veggies. They asked and I said yes. I didn't know I was going to pay an extra dollar for veggies and lose out on there two dollar savings. Causing me to spend an extra three dollars. So I explained this to the manager that he needs to train his workers on telling the customers the specials. Also why can't customers take advantage of the sale especially after they technically up sale me. The other issue was as I was speaking to the manager he's speaking to the worker in Spanish. I asked her why is he speaking to you in Spanish when you speak perfect English. She said cause he doesn't speak English very well. So I asked where the owner was and she said he's gone till Monday. WaBa Grill is the place to go when you are trying to eat healthy. I eat here about 3 times per week and with regular exercise I see myself losing a lot of weight very fast! I always get the Chicken Bowl w/ Brown Rice (no onions) and no sauce. This is probably the healthiest option you have at this place and it tastes very good! Overall, you will not be disappointed. I guess I am not the only one having issues with this location. With that being said I am diabetic. I usually get the chicken plate and ask for no teriyaki sauce because of the sugar content. Over course of months they have screwed up 7+ times to get my order right. I have called this place several times to complains they can train their employees correctly but they always screw up. My last altercation with them is my final. Their management is incompetent and simply does not care. Very much surprised since there is going to be another WaBa grill that will be opening soon in Baldwin Park. Don't get me wrong I love WaBa grill and other locations have been wonderful.
