Two visits to this food court and two stops here. Food is delicious. Assemble your own bowl and then they cook it. More veggies than I can fit. All the protein you could want. Workers are friendly. Food court is a bit loud but it's fine. You'll feel like a conqueror here of fine Mongolian barbecue.

Chicken(good!), Beef(okay), and ALL the veggies

Came here after the gym the other day and the food was good! I picked ALL the veggies and added their chilis, chili oil, soy sauce, some lemon, and oil and they cook everything right in front of you. Super fast and obviously made fresh. HUGE PORTIONS, they are very generous! The CHICKEN is better than beef, I got both although beef was decent, too. Very nice staff. Thank you for the quick meal!

90% noodle, 5% jalapeño, 3% green onion, 2% cabbage, 1% hair... Build Your Own Bowl

Sorry, I am not picky but this place... I do not understand how they can survive... I ordered make own bowl. I put lots veggies but when they make them cooked, dropped all the veggies on the ground and only noodle remains... I even found one short straight hair in that food... And we paid over 16 dollars +tax for each NOODLE... Here describe my order. 90% noodle, 5% jalapeño, 3% green onion, 2% cabbage, 1% hair...and not really flavorful I added one back of soy sauce after.

I ordered 3 bowls here and ended up coming home to one bag of noodles. The employees were nice, but the food was so hot that it melted the box it was in! I was excited to eat their food because it is scrumptious! I just think they need to change the styrofoam boxes..

My favorites were the Signature Lan Noodle, the spicy beef noodle, and the wide flat noodle soup. The Signature Lan Noodle had a rich, flavorful broth with tender beef and perfectly chewy noodles. The wide flat noodles were incredibly fresh, soft, and chewy--they soaked up the broth beautifully and had an amazing texture. You can really tell the noodles are made fresh to order. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted high quality, and the service was friendly and fast. If you're craving authentic Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles, this is definitely the place to visit. Looks like they just break chicken legs and poor them in the soup. Contained small fragments of bone, and some of them are easy to miss. You could potentially crack a tooth, or worse, accidentally choke on one. I've never had a dish where I felt like I had to be this cautious while eating. That said, aside from the bone issue, the meal itself was enjoyable. Next time, though, I'll probably play it safe and order something different.

They are located in Haven City Market West Covina. When you walk in, its in the back right hand side. Not hard to find at all. I got their OG Beef Noodle Soup / 招牌牛肉汤面 $17.00 and added an braised egg for $2. The noodles were my favorite. Hand crafted perfection and had that chewy doughy bite I love when noodles have. Just the right amount of slurp-ability and a great chew to it. Their broth soup was very unique to me; it had an herbal taste and a rich and complex flavor to it. Their OG Beef Noodle Soup came with their braised beef shank, mustard greens, tomato, and bok choy - all the elements I am looking for in a beef noodle soup. I did have to add an egg though, for an extra $2, which was unexpected and a bit of a let-down for me. Their braised egg wasn't as flavorful and it seemed a bit dry in fact. I do love eggs especially with my noodles, and sometimes it can even be the star, so it was sad to me it didn't live up to be the $2 I paid. But that's okay! I would just come back here for just their fresh hand-crafted noodles - they are just that good! Like most of the restaurants at the market, I paid upfront and got a buzzer. It was ready in about 5 minutes and served hot and ready to dive in! The portion is huge so I even got to take about half home to enjoy at another time. It was even better re-warmed on my stove top the second time around. Shootout to the friendly staff here who are so genuinely kind. I witnessed a staff member helping another customer for about 10 minutes figure out what they wanted on the menu. They took the time to explain the menu and showed pictures, too. Just a very kind team here it seems! Thank you for the delicious beef noodle soup and your kind service. I will definitely be back soon!

Good soup but not authentic Taiwanese flavor…read more I've been wanting to try this place out ever since I saw a video review, but unfortunately, it fell short in some ways. I tried the OG Beef Noodle Soup hoping it would taste like the ones in Taiwan, but as a Taiwanese myself, it tasted nothing like the distinct flavor of traditional beef noodle soup in Taiwan. If I have nothing to compare it to, it's a really good soup, very tender beef, and has qq noodles. However, was a bit oily and a bit of ma la (numbing) spiciness. The soup is very flavorful, tastes closer to Indian cuisine flavors to me though. The soup consistency is slightly thicker and murkier than what I expected. Personally, I would add more of the mustard greens. I ordered over the phone, super easy, friendly staff. Only took 10 minutes to prepare. It was ready right when I got there. I wish plastic wasn't used as the containers, especially with hot soup. I appreciate the paper bag though. The food quality is great but just not the Taiwanese flavor I know and love.

Perfect space for families with children, in the summer! It's a similar concept with Blossom Market in San Gabriel but way bigger. There's a variety of food vendors, which is great. Unfortunately, I was quite limited due to my food allergies. But I was able to get some grilled salmon from Kai Don. Staff here were friendly and helpful. I would recommend that they don't overcook the Salmon though, because it can get too dry. Otherwise, it was tasty, with several different sauces available. There was a sushi bar, with interesting rolls but not Japanese run, and they don't use Panko batter for their tempura...so it made the spider roll a bit too dense. For those that like burgers, pizza and beer, there were several vendors. I'll have to come back to try the other vendors soon!

The sesame peanut noodles have been disappointing the last three times I've ordered them. They barely add any sauce anymore, so the noodles taste bland. Instead, they throw in a ton of minced garlic and especially minced ginger, which completely overpowers the dish. It doesn't taste anything like it used to. The service has also gotten worse. I asked an employee in Spanish if I could have a straw. She acted like she didn't understand me, so I asked again in English, and she still said she didn't understand. I just said never mind. But a few minutes later, my aunt asked the same employee in Spanish for more water, and suddenly she understood perfectly. That honestly left me confused. The employees also come off as rude and unfriendly. Then, when it's time to pay, they practically shove the tablet in your face while standing there watching you. We were a party of four, yet there was a $16 gratuity added, and on top of that they asked us how much extra tip we wanted to leave. It feels like you're being pressured into tipping twice instead of it being your choice. It's honestly sad because this place used to be so good. I've noticed fewer people eating there lately, and if the food quality and customer service keep getting worse, I can see why. I hope management takes this seriously and brings Thumbling back to what it used to be.
