Awful. Dirty. We waited a long time for anyone to even take our order, or even acknowledge that we were here. While waiting we used the restrooms. Both were dirty. Toilets were overflowing with paper. All of this while 4 employees were chatting and laughing in the side room. The waitress was listless. Just bored. No life at all. Sure, this was Memorial Day weekend, and I'm sure they were busier than normal, but this is Baker. You always get a lot of traffic to/from Vegas. If you know it will be busy, just staff some more people. Horrible! My family and I stopped in on our way home from Vegas and we had the worst service ever!! We ordered stuff and were never given them after asking for them 3 times, waitress took our beverage order and took 15 mins to come back ( it wasn't even busy). We ordered food and drinks for a member of our party that was in the restroom and she questioned why we were ordering 3 meals!... Bathrooms were dirty and had no seat covers/ toilet paper, trash was all over the floor and the hallway leading to the restroom smelled like pee! I do a lot of driving so Dennys is my main choice for breakfast. Its decent food for the price however every once in a while i stumble upon something so delicious that i cant believe my luck. This morning i stopped by This Magnificent Place. Right off the bat you can tell that its spotless, and it was just pleasure to walk in and be seated by the Mgr that also brought me a cup of coffee, Now this is really where the magic Begins this was the best cuppa coffee I had in years and manager brought me 4 sugars and 3 creamers which was the perfect ratio for my taste buds I ordered ultimate omelette with hash brown toast and a couple of Sunnyside eggs on the side everything was so perfectly dialed in and delicious, not to mention that the shape of my omelette was just perfect the eggs were done just right as well. Like I said I do a lot of Denny's but this one is by far The best one I've ever been to manager has the place dialed in my compliments to the chef and the waitress was the nicest lady ever even the gentleman that came outside to make sure that the place was looking 100% was Extremely pleasant. In today's covid world its a rare thing to meet group of such dedicated people. Stopped here on our way back from vegas. We got seated very quickly. The waitress was nice and friendly to us. But she didn't not write anything down when she took our order which messed up my order completely. I order the club sandwich on sourdough bread with no tomato. When my order comes out it has tomato and it's on whole wheat bread. So while everyone else on the table was eating I was still waiting for my food for about 10 minutes more. We stopped here for breakfast, 8:30 on a Saturday morning. The service was so slow we almost got up and left. We were seated promptly, but it took about 20 minutes before our drink order was taken. FILTHY!!!!! I will never go back to this Denny's again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. The place is filthy, the staff is also dirty and possibly the laziest people in the restaurant industry. We walked in, nobody was around to seat us, just some guy sitting on the benches in the waiting area on a cell phone who I thought was a customer, turns out later I seen he was a Denny's employee that didn't bother to call anybody to seat us even though we were standing there a good 3-4 minutes! As far as the food, it was not any good compared to the standard Denny's fare at other Denny's restaurants , so that gives you an idea how bad the food was. The employees (all of them) are what gives this place such a low rating. If you are in Baker, there are not really and good places to eat, but this seems to be the worst of them all, I would suggest getting something from the convenience store before eating here. I paid for my slop and left no tip which is pretty bad as I am a generous tipper to decent eateries. Lastly, I think people would stop here to just use the bathroom, so if that's your excuse to stop here, the bathrooms are super nasty!!! We have stopped here a couple of times on our way to Vegas, and both times it was very good. Our server was really nice and helpful, and stopped by lots of times to be sure everything was ok. Also, we ordered a couple of things cooked differently, and lo and behold, that is the way they came, so good job to the cook too!! I always order hash browns well done, but no matter where I am, including upscale places - I never seem to get them that way. This time they were perfect, and I remember that the last time through, the same thing happened with an order that we asked to be out of the ordinary. This place used to be ok a just a few years ago. Went there a few days ago and it's gone down hill a lot. A guy that seems to be the manager has about 0 motivation to do anything, it's like he's being put upon. Was on the way back from Las Vegas. Decided to stop and have a little breakfast. This place was beyond pathetic. We sat there for like 10 minutes and nobody came to our table. The bus boy then came by and asked us if we wanted something to drink so we got some coffee. Another 15 minutes goes by and still no waiter. They were not extremely busy and other tables that came after us were getting their coffee. Eventually, a waiter from a different station came by and took our order. When we finally got our food, it was from someone (we still don't know who our waiter/waitress was. Maybe it was the person that brought our food..who knows. We then just ate really fast and then went to the cashier. Never actually got a check from anyone. When we told the cashier (the manager was also standing there), there was no response - not even an apology or anything. We probably could have walked out and nobody would have known!
