If comfort food could give hugs, this plate would've wrapped us in a warm quilt and called us "hon." Parking out front can be a bit like finding a parking space at a Black Friday sale--possible, but don't count on it. Thankfully, there's extra parking in the back, complete with reserved spaces for country music stars. We didn't spot Dolly or Willie, but we left a spot open just in case. There was a small line when we arrived, so I put our name in, and the wait was about 25 minutes. The reason why this place nearly lost 5 stars is because the waitress did not mention anything about there being an up charge for having sausage in the gravy of the chicken fried steak. My partner loves Bourdain and was delighted to see his photo on the wall with the owner, showing he'd been here. The pancake made me less mad about waiting. It was huge, and it was on the griddle just enough so that the inside was just a bit raw. Might not sound good to most people but that how I like my pancakes. I didn't experience the great customer service this place is known for. The flies attended to me more. They have a huge menu and mostly it's reasonably priced with gratuity included for groups of 6 or more.
