I don't even wanna give this place a freakin star... I ordered a build your own slam and came back with food I really didn't even order... ordered a side of fries and didn't even get it. waiter said he couldn't take it back. horrible service. waited 5mins to get sat at a table and another 8.5mins to just get our order taken not coming back here again... read more

Denny's is the go to breakfast pLace for my mom and myself. We go a couple times a week early in the morning beating the crowds. The waitresses Vanessa and Carmen usually help us. They are so friendly and they remember what we like and how we like it. It's wonderful. The managers and fellow employees are great too! They all greet us with big smiles. It honestly makes a great start to our day. The food is prepared how we request and the coffee is always hot and fresh. Nothing but good things to say about this Denny's. read more

No complaints here. I ordered breakfast this morning and they put scrambled eggs on it for the heck of it. For someone that likes eggs, hey thats great... but for me, it made my heart stop, lol. I don't like eggs. But our server, Cindi, was very nice about it. She could see the look of horror on my face. She gave the food to my husband and son and grabbed me a fresh plate of my food, minus the eggs, of course. Waited for less than 5 minutes for a table on a busy Saturday morning. read more

I am so over Dennys I wanted to give them another chance after 2 years. No everything I ordered was COLD. Everything thing was premade. We ordered 2 sets of pancakes 4 eggs 4 pieces of bacon 4 sauages 2 hashbrowns 2 pieces of toast everything was on our table in 2 minutes. When we said something of course waitress / manager said o no it wasnt premade really everything is completely cold. I had her remake our pancakes. She offered a complete discount I said no its not about that I can pay for my food its about exactly what I said the food was cold period. Well day DENNYS ya see or get another dollar from me. read more

so it's Thanksgiving night and after having a totally horrible experience at the Denny's on somersville we came to this location wow totally amazing there are a couple of employees here who are top notch Veronica and Raul if I worked in this area I would steal them away for my business. The food was great but while the service here is amazing will definitely come back to this location in the future. read more

I decided to stop and get breakfast so I didn't have to cook. Won't ever do that again. First the manager was late and they couldn't use the registers so I couldn't pay. When I got home my food was cold, biscuits were hard and dry. The gravy was too salty and the hash browns were burnt. The only thing that was good was the bacon and grits. Not going back there. read more

Denny's is an old go to. Definatly great for late night hunger. This area only has Denny's and Mel's for a sit down 24 hour location. I prefer Mel's most nights. But this is a nice Denny's WAY better then the Somerville one. They are cleaner and the cooks are better and the servers are nicer. I love the graveyard server she's a sweetie I don't advise going here on the weekends or Sunday breakfast or after lunch read more

Why do I have to give one star?! Waited 15 minutes after waiting to be seating for anyone to acknowledge us! No water no nothing! Unacceptable! Then were told nothing for the VETERAN because that deal ended at noon (it's 1pm) Nice. Really nice Denny's! Should have gone to Applebee's, Lumpy's, Starbucks...anywhere else that takes care of their Veterans. read more

Veronica F from Denny's is just the best person ever! My classmates and I decided to come to Denny's to study for our test late at night. Food is tasty but when ordering online don't rush to arrive at the time given. Confirmation said it would be 15 minutes ended up being a 40 minute wait. Good thing I wasn't on my 30 minute lunch. read more

ok i have been going to this Dennys for almost 20 years, today is the first day i can say i would probably never go back there. The service is still very good but the quality of the food is trash. I would get the double burger most days and that is hit and miss but today i ordered the Philly cheesesteak and as soon as the plate hit the table i thought wtf is this. It was some weird bread that was small and it had big steak chunks and some super creamy cheese sauce over the top of it, not even mixed with the meat and veggies. I rather go next door to Mels from now on and spend my money. read more

Loooove their unlimited chicken noodle soup!

Worst breakfast and service. Eggs, hashbrowns cold Sausage and bacon, not cooked Took forever, also saw waitress standing talking to co workers . Took forever too to get coffee refill, oh, coffee week and cold. Heard another customer ask if she could make coffee stronger, said she didn't know how as it comes from machine. I saw it doesn't, add more coffee read more

Good food, good service. The problem is with takeout. Twice now when we've order the nachos, the lid on the bowl with the toppings hasn't been secure and we've had spills. The nachos are yummy, I'd just rather they be in my tummy and not on my lap. read more

Customer service was horrible!! The place was not even packed and it took almost 45 minutes for our food. This Dennys is ok, nothing special or thrilling. Food is good HOWEVER, Dennys in Concord on Willow Pass Rd, has a certain employee named Renee, who openly discriminated a mother and her young daughter, who happened to be tall for her age. The child asked for a kids menu, and was denied and embarrassed by Renee (male) Saying she and her mother were lying to try to get over on him. After, back n forth debate , mother n daughter, left resturant. I hope she sues this rude Renee, personally. Dennys has lost my business forever! PinkCloud read more

This is one of the worst Denny's I've EVER been to in my whole 30 years of life period.... Service was slow, Hash Browns where hard, eggs where cold, chicken fried steak was old and tasted like it was heated up. Some food came right as we were leaving. Wow totally Unacceptable. I will NOT be returning to this Denny's ever again period read more

This place is HORRIBLE place to eat!!! Very bad and very slow service! The waitress is hurrying us to order , dont want to customized our order and never checked in on us .! Didnt get any refill with my coffee! Took 25 mins to get our food! My first and will be my last tome to eat at this place!!! read more

Denny's is Denny's so, eh you get what you pay for when it comes food quality, but the service on the other hand is just unacceptable (except for Tony, that guy is an incredible server!). Over the past year, me and some friends started making it a game to see how rude she will be and how many things she will intentionally get wrong. The other night was the last straw for me. Why am I paying to eat at place where I have to deal with a servers ego and mood swings?! I soon as go to Mel's or Nations now. read more

I absolutely loved this Dennys location, even in the late night/ early mornings. The food is superb, and the service is friendly. Santa Fe Skillet or anything skillet wise is awesome, and should definently an East Bay Gem. Hoping that anyone visiting the area decides to try this dennys Brentwood has a beautiful strip where the location is based, with some of the gorgeous "Golden California Hills." read more

Denny's - "Santa Fe Skillet" Always a good Choice at Dennys. The city of #Brentwood #CA This location is awesome 24/7 - Diners Near Me - Antioch, California

If I could give this place zero stars I would. From the second I walked in, I had terrible service. I walked in on Saturday morning around 9am with my 7 year old and 16 month old son in my arms. The hostess seated us Fairly quickly, but just put our menus on the table and walked away. Ignoring the fact that I asked her for a high chair. So we sat there for about 15 minutes with no service and my son on my lap. I finally had to tell my seven-year-old to go find me a high chair because it was apparent nobody was going to bring us one. Finally after about 20 minutes a waitress came over and asked us for our drinks. She brought them back and we ordered our food which took about another 35 minutes to receive. That didn't bother me so much because it was a busy Saturday morning. I ordered the grand slam breakfast with over easy eggs, and when I did receive them they were practically scrambled. I was already furious and just wanted to eat and get out, so I didn't complain. Then, when we were halfway through our food, our waitress came back and said she was going on break and brought us our bill. From then on out we had no more service. Our drinks were completely empty and there Was nobody to refill them or replace our waitress. Finally finished and we got up to pay. This place really needs to get with the times where you can pay at your table or give your waitress your money because the line to pay was completely backed up To the back of the restaurant. It was ridiculous. There was no room to move or even breathe because there were people waiting to be seated and about 20 people waiting to pay. We will never be returning to this Dennys. Worst place, food, and service EVER read more

The place is clean and parking was readily available. I was greeted and a server come over to place my order. We received our food and it was hot. The prices are great. I haven't been to Denny's in years since the once I use to live next to was in a poor piss location and was always filthy. So if you haven't been to Denny's in awhile try this location. FYI when you get your receipt you pay in the front as you leave. It's been so long I had forgot. read more

I took my two bosses to breakfast around noon on Friday12/22 for the holiday. We were seated and our orders taken at average speeds. I could see our meals sitting up at the ready area for a long time. I almost walked over to get them myself. The omelettes, hash browns and toast were stone cold. Took over an hour to get bad service and cold food. Won't go there again! read more

I really hate coming here. The service is horrible. They are always running out of food. And it takes forever for our food to come out. Even when there's barely anyone in the restaurant. I don't understand why this place is still open. It's crazy to me how the waitresses or waiters really expect a tip for their weak a** service. read more

This Denny's is hit or miss. I use to prefer them over the one on somersville due to the ratchetness there however I had a horrible experience just walking in on August 10, 2017 at around 8pm. No one greeted us cool just kept waiting. Someone with a red shirt in the kitchen area looked in our direction (myself, my son, my sister and her two kids) and said something inaudible but sounded like someone will be with you. So we keep waiting and talking. Then some older gentleman gets up from his table and someone comes and assists him ASAP. Only to pay his bill. I said wow and the lady tending to him said oh we only have two servers. Still but we have been standing here for minutes, and as soon as he comes up he gets service smh no one even physically came up to us and said hey we will be with u shortly. So over Denny's smh we only really went because we thought the kids could eat free but it wasn't even the night for that. After another fiasco at Mel's we went to the Denny's on Somersville and was seated immediately. Service was ok but I'd rather be acknowledged then ignored while some workers sat on break. read more

This is specifically about Jacqueline "Jackie" .. I went there the other night with a friend, we were seated with out menus for about 10 minutes, there wasn't many people in there (or I'd be understanding) then we ordered got our food in a somewhat timely manner. "Jackie" then ignored us for the rest of our time there going to EVERY TABLE BUT OURS!!! And I could see her purposely ignoring us!! I then had to ask her over the counter for a coffee refill which she did with a smirk and when she came to our table with the coffee she asked if we wanted a free dessert Bc we waited so long so to me that was her purposely being snooty. Very disappointed in her skills as a waitress. I honestly believe she treated us badly Bc we are younger and assumed we weren't going to tip, well you most definitely aren't going to get one with customer service skills like that. Other then her I've always had a great experience there and the food tasted great read more

We were just here the other day (again) and the server was so nice and we had absolutely no problems. The food was delicious, my son loved his meal, as did I. My husband and I ordered an appetizer and it was nice and hot when it arrived to the table. I don't think we've ever had a single problem when eating here or ordering from here. read more

The servers were friendly, but I come to restaurants for the food and that was disappointing. There were only 4 other groups there and it took at least 20 minutes for them to get our food to us. I ordered a simple plate of chocolate chip pancakes and they were all burnt. I'm not a picky eater so I just ate it, but it definitely wasn't appetizing or worth the wait. I'm not inclined to come back here and don't think I ever will. I'd much rather go to the Country Waffles down the street. read more

ghetto waitress, attitude, playing games talking to her friend while I have no fork= no tip! She obviously doesn't care much about anything including her appearance! Would never go to this location again! Should have walked out but would rather not stoop to her level! Oh and I will be calling the manager and corporate! read more

This is a fairly new looking Denny's and I wanted to take my girls out to breakfast and maybe take advantage of the 2,4,6,8 menu. We were Sat relatively quick and the Neal was satisfactory, but my waitresses was really unatentive and it took her a solid, what seemed like 5 min to acknowledge we were even there. I start deciding my tip from the moment I sit down until the time I'm acknowledge. Plus she made a mistake on my order and after bringing it to her attention she only rectified the situation after I insisted she do so, so of course her tip wasn't great. I'd come back here one more but not if I have a bad experience again. read more

This review in on the take-out portion of Denny's. The on-site food was ok. But the take-out orders .are truly awful. Food is cold. They 'neglect' to provide folks/knives/condiments like salt/napkins/syrup for French Toast/etc. If you call to complain, the manager's attitude is 'whatever', without an offer to replace the disgusting cold, fatty debris they called bacon. If this was an in-site meal, I would have walked out without paying. Skip take-outs from this place! read more

I doordash it and it came cold and the food was not good i got a all american slam and it was gross!

The waitress sat us at a dirty table. She came up to us once to tell us she had to be right back and walked into the bathroom. Then didnt come back to our table for 15-20 minutes. It smelt like someone in the kitchen area was smoking a cigarette. She brought us our food and then walked away. Didn't give us napkins, our toast, or syrup for our waffles. The food was not good. The bacon was over cooked and hard it hurt my teeth! The place wasn't busy and there were 3 maybe 4 different servers and not one seemed to care about us. It took them over 30 minutes to bring me my food while everyone else was given their food. My food was burned and over cooked, the hash browns were soggy in the middle and burnt on the edges. Not impressed at all. Will never come here again! read more

If I could I would give this location less than a star I must certainly would. This Denny's has been going downhill over the last year or so. Tonight's meal has pretty much made me decide I will not be returning to this location. I will take my business to Sylvia's Kitchen or other local diners. I placed an order for pick up tonight so that my family and I could have a nice meal without too much hassle. Our orders were fairly simple. We ordered pancake puppies, 2 club sandwiches, both with no tomatoes, and a California club sandwich. Easy right? The only thing changed from the standard was we wanted no tomatoes on 2 of the sandwiches, this means they have LESS to put on. Well not only did they decide to put tomatoes on one club sandwich, but when I verified the order at pick up and found their mistake they argued with me and insisted that I was wrong. Finally they agreed to take the tomato off. So the lady takes it in the back and literally just picks the tomato off. I asked if they had gotten all the tomato off since it was for someone who cannot have tomato (thus ordering the sandwich with NO tomato!) she got huffy and said they just pealed it off. Then asked in a snotty way if I wanted it remade. I said yes, please do so. It took nearly 10 minutes for them to remake a club sandwich, now mind you this sandwich is a pretty simple thing to make. Not only did it take so long, but the lady wandered off and I never saw her again. Instead someone else came up and asked what I was waiting for. I told her my sandwich they were remaking due to their mistake. She picked up from the line where it was waiting and had been waiting for a few minutes. The service at this location is beyond sub-par. The staff and management do not care about taking care of the customers. They only want to get you in and out. I miss the days when Denny's was truly a family restaurant where a family could enjoy a meal and not worry about rude, incompetent staff who cannot complete a simple order and then argue with you when you catch their mistakes. I will not be returning to this location and likely will have second thoughts about going to any Denny's in the near future. Please note this location is now corporate owned and has been going downhill since it became corporate owned. read more

Normally, the service is excellent and the food is delicious. Unfortunately today was a bust. We waited to be seated and about 7 employees saw us waiting and didn't acknowledge us. At a minimum tell us they'll be right with us. Than we finally get our menus and ordering was another long wait. We finally get our order in and waiting for the food was another long wait. The waiter was very kind but the overall service was terrible. We've been here since 12:40 and it is now almost 2pm. Btw, my food was oily and flavorless and my daughters burger was dry. Totally disappointed still waiting on the bill. Pt#2 i got my bill and didn't notice that I was charged for an item I never got. So when I asked for a refund, I was told that once the transaction is complete, no refills are given... Smh... It just gets better and better (total sarcasm) read more
