Their honey walnut shrimp is delicious as well as their chow mein. I love how convenient it is and it's a perfect location.

What a Wonderful Hidden Gem in Brentwood!…read more We recently moved to Brentwood and were looking for a cozy, old-fashioned breakfast spot to enjoy after church. After reading the great Yelp reviews, we decided to give this place a try, and we are so glad we did! We arrived shortly before 1:00, knowing they closed at 2:00, and were greeted with such friendly, welcoming service. The staff was wonderful, attentive, and genuinely kind. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were very generous! The restaurant has that charming, old-school café feel, complete with a traditional counter seating area and a separate dining room. Nothing fancy, just great food, friendly faces, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. But what really made our visit unforgettable was something completely unexpected. We struck up a conversation with a lovely couple sitting behind us and mentioned that we were new to Brentwood. When we went to pay our bill, we discovered they had already paid for our meal! We were completely surprised and so touched by their kindness. We heard they're regular Sunday visitors, and we hope to cross paths again so we can thank them personally. In the meantime, we will definitely be paying that kindness forward! What started as a simple Sunday breakfast turned into such a heartwarming experience. Great food, wonderful service, and a beautiful reminder that there are still so many kind people in this world. We will absolutely be back!

Ordered the linguica and eggs and it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't excellent either. The staff was friendly and it seemed like this was a local spot with tons of regulars. If you're in the area and just need a breakfast spot with the usual breakfast diner menu items, and a local neighborhood feel, this place would fit the bill.

We love Wence..the service is above any restaurant we've gone to…read more This review is in regards to just my meal in hopes the Owner/Manager read. I ordered the mixed seafood dish that comes with scallop potatoes. The flavor was awesome. I love when you have vegetables on the plate and they're not just put their to take of space... These were cooked perfectly and tasted great. The scallop potatoes were delicious In regards to the seafood... The seasoning the sauce was delicious... Unfortunately, everything was way overcooked. The fish and the shrimp were so hard and chewy. It was almost inedible. We hadn't ate all day. I was very hungry so I did eat some of it. I wish I had ordered some of their tasty bread and I would have eaten that with the sauce. The seafood was definitely pre cooked and then reheated. The fish had texture of chicken..dry chicken. The shrimp was kind of the same. And the salmon was not flaky. Will this stop us from going back? No. Will I order this dish again? There is a good possibility because the flavor was so good. Hopefully it was just a bad night. I could've sent it back... But it was so busy.

Really frustrating experience. I ordered at 1:46 PM and the restaurant kept telling the driver "10…read moremore minutes" for almost an hour. The order wasn't even ready until around 2:50 PM. My DoorDash driver waited way too long for a simple order, which isn't fair to them. In the end I feel like we both lost money and time here! Poor time management and misleading wait times.. lost a customer.

Service is always kind and timely. No rushing or making you feel unwelcome. VERY kind and attentive staff! The ambiance is ordinary, but very clean. There is a bench for people to sit while waiting on seating or their mobile orders. Payment is up front by the door, conveniently next to the display case of great baked items and pastries. If you haven't yet been here, then you haven't tasted what Brentwood has to offer!

Downtown Brentwood was especially busy because of the car show, with lots of booths, music, and people enjoying the day, so we completely understood that the restaurant might be busier than usual. When we arrived, though, we weren't greeted or really sure where we were supposed to wait. There wasn't a sign directing guests, and although an employee was at the register near the entrance, we had to ask if we should wait there for a hostess. We were eventually seated outside after a short wait. Our drinks came fairly quickly, but after that the service was very inconsistent. The employees were extremely nice and helpful whenever we were able to speak with them; they just weren't readily available. Our food took quite a while, no one came back to refill or warm up my coffee, we had to ask for jelly for the toast, and when we were ready to leave, we had to find someone to ask for our check. One of the young employees also spent quite a bit of time outside talking and taking pictures with friends who had stopped by, which was a little frustrating. The food looked beautiful when it arrived, and the portions were very generous. I had the French toast with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. The presentation was great, but unfortunately, the French toast itself was just okay. We also tried the chicken-fried steak with hash browns and toast, which again was fine but nothing that really stood out. I really wanted to love this place because so many people recommended it to us. Perhaps we caught them on an unusually busy day, and I definitely want to be fair about that. Unfortunately, between the lack of availability and food that was more average than we expected, our first experience didn't quite live up to the recommendations. Since we're new to Brentwood and still have so many local restaurants to discover, we'll probably try some of those before making a special trip back here.

My 9th Visit to Orwood and Still My Favorite Breakfast Spot!…read more This is my 9th time visiting Orwood, and it never disappoints! It's my favorite breakfast place and my go-to spot whenever I want to bring my family visiting from out of state or another country. I love sharing this beautiful experience with them! The pancakes are my absolute favorite, and the fresh coffee is the perfect way to start the day. Every breakfast option is phenomenal, and the food never disappoints. The service is wonderful, and the lake view makes the entire experience even more special. Great food, amazing service, and a beautiful view what more could you ask for? Orwood has become a family favorite, and I'll definitely keep coming back again and again! Highly recommended!

Delta Dining with a Front-Row Seat to the Action. Some restaurants lean heavily on their kitchens…read more Others rely on their scenery. This Delta mainstay attempts, and often succeeds, to balance both. A short drive from the city delivers you to this laidback waterfront outpost, where the real show unfolds just beyond the patio: a steady procession of boaters launching, docking, and lingering over the day's boating stories all around you. It's an unpolished but undeniably charming backdrop, best enjoyed with a cold craft beer in hand and nowhere urgent to be. The menu casts a wide variety of burgers, seafood, barbecue, designed more for broad appeal than culinary ambition. Still, it largely delivers on its promise of satisfying comfort fare. Service, however, is where the restaurant consistently distinguishes itself. Staff members are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, a level of hospitality that feels increasingly uncommon and worth noting. On this visit, I returned to a familiar favorite: the cheeseburger, paired, at our server's suggestion, with tater tots. Around the table, fish and chips and pulled pork sliders completed the spread. The cheeseburger, Juicy and cooked with precision, it carries a distinct flame-grilled character that signals real attention to technique. The toppings are fresh, the bun properly toasted, and the overall construction strikes a satisfying balance between indulgent and controlled. It's a burger that delivers exactly what it promises, and does so consistently. Having previously paired it with excellent onion rings, it remains a dish I'd order without hesitation. The tater tots, however, were a notable misstep. A great tot should offer contrast, crisp exterior giving way to a light, airy interior. These lacked that essential textural payoff. Soft and underwhelming, they suggested oil past its prime and a lapse in execution. After sampling a few, I left the rest behind. It was a surprising inconsistency, particularly given stronger past experiences. Fortunately, the pulled pork sliders recalibrated the meal. Three well-proportioned sandwiches showcased tender, smoky pork layered onto soft buns with a restrained hand on the sauce. The balance was thoughtful, allowing the meat to remain the focal point. Each bite was cohesive and satisfying, making them one of the afternoon's clear highlights. The fish and chips were fresh and not over battered, well-flavored, but just a little heavy, that defines the dish at its best when lightly crispy, in my opinion. For this visit, I award 3 out of 5 stars. Not for lack of potential, the kitchen clearly has it, but for inconsistency. Strong dishes sit alongside underwhelming ones, and that variability prevents the restaurant from reaching its full potential. Having experienced better execution here before, particularly with fried items, it's evident that higher standards are within reach. Still, three stars should not deter a visit. This remains one of the Delta's most appealing gathering spots. The waterfront setting, approachable pricing, generous portions, and engaging atmosphere create an experience that extends beyond the plate. It's a place where time stretches, conversations deepen, and the rhythm of the water sets the pace. I'll return, for something new on the menu, the view, and with the hope that the kitchen rediscovers the consistency needed to match its undeniable strengths.

We came here after his cemetery service with nearly 50 of our family and friends, and everything was handled beautifully. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating during a day that was already so emotional for our family. They made sure we had what we needed, gave us the space to gather and remember him, and took so much stress off my shoulders. The location honestly felt perfect for my Papa. Being able to bring everyone together, share stories, laugh, cry, eat, and raise a drink to him meant more than I can explain. The food was great, the service was wonderful, and most importantly, we were treated with genuine kindness. When you're planning something like this while grieving, that kindness matters more than people realize. Thank you to everyone at Whiskey Tango Foxtrot for helping us give Papa Pete a beautiful send-off. Our family will always remember that day and how well you took care of us.

Please please train your servers better. 1. Bring the…read moredrinks right after they are made. 2. Don't make the customer ask for silverware. 3. Bring the appetizers out right away. Our calamari sat for a while as it was cold. It also didn't help that the server walked right by our table with the calamari in her hand, all the way to the other end of the restaurant and then back and put it on our table. Made zero sense. 4. Most importantly, if they can't remember every detail of an order by trying to memorize it, have them write it down!! Period. This is a skill not everyone possesses. We will definitely be back as the food was pretty good. But I hate spending $120 for dinner in basically a sports bar, get mediocre Service and they expect a 20% tip. (Which I still gave) This was just a few of the things we dealt with. It wasn't really crowded so do like other restaurants. Make sure the item is tagged for the right table and anybody can bring it out. It doesn't have to be the server as I know they're attending to other tables.
