I walk in and order their "famous" panookie and a milkshake and go outside to wait...15 minutes goes by and I go back inside only to wait another another eternity for a mini silver dollar size frozen wannabe whatever they call it cookie, That taste like a boot with a dollop of daisy, I mean frost bite ice cream , there was no pecans in sight as advertised. what a shame!! all while the jerkoffs were busy making there selves food at the counter...what a joke. Plenty of parking. There is a big waiting area. Service is fast to get seated if you have a small party. This is a chain restaurant so food is similar to the same restaurant. I think they have a good selection at a low cost. Plus this place serves breakfast all day. This place is where my family can go and everyone is happy. read more

Inflation caused about 25% price increases on all their entries. I usually get the skillet at Denney's. Last time portion was smaller with about 25% higher prices. I think the reduction in portion is inappropriate. A person expects same portion but accepts higher price. read more

A Honey Buttermilk Chicken sandwich with fries is what was ordered and they gave me a sandwich that was 2 chicken tenders in a bun and fries that are not even a part of they're menu, look at the picture and you'll see what I mean. Im a long time Dennys customer (not Lonetree). Went to Dennys Lonetree last night around 7pm . There were a few tables full. I walked in to see tables full of dirty dishes & papers on the floor. I ordered +55 salmon (my favorite food), salad, mashed potatoes & bread. I ate 1 bite of the fish & it didn't taste good. I ate a second bit to make sure because I really wanted to eat it. Second bite tasted bad. I boxed it to feed my cats. I immediately got diarrhea still at Dennys. When I got home my husband ate a bite of the salmon and immediately got sick still sitting at the table. He turned white almost thru up, fainted and immediately got diarrhea. I had to call Kaiser. I talked to my sister and she said she had the same thing happen to her at Dennys in Placerville. I think they're trying to save money by not changing the oil often enough. In the restaurant it was a mess with papers on the floor with waitresses walking on it.. tables were piled with dirty dishes. I know it's hard to hire help but.....my sister & I will never go back. Sat in dining room for 30min before asking front desk if we could be served. Waited 10 more mins & was still not served - left w/o ordering.

We were told the wait was 15 minutes. We waited an hour only to be seated and wait 15 minutes for the waitress. When she showed, we were informed the kichen was behind and it would take 45 minutes for our food. Only a quarter of the tables were sat. I understand covid means everyone is short staffed but when they raise price and the service is so bad maybe places should consider better communication regarding tineframes. read more

She kept a smile on her face while keeping up with the multiple tables and was still able to give us attention we deserve. Since my last visit it looks like new management is more involved taking reviews into consideration. It can be pricey but luckily they have a value menu and kids eat free which I didn't know about until this visit. read more

This is officially my most favoritist Denny's in the whole wide world. It was 2 a.m. and I wanted some effing French toast. I was still in my Madonna garb from 80's night, sunglasses and all. Rosie sat us at a table. (Her name really is Rosie - I'm not being cute.) After I sat down, I realized just how long the booths were. Easily long enough to accommodate my short frame in a vertical position. I knew I probably wouldn't get back up if I did give into the temptation to stretch out for a minute so I stayed upright. Then Rosie seated the big circular table in front of us. Me: "Who IS that? I know him. Where do I know him from?" Husband: "Ha, that's the guy from Safeway." I shop there a good 6 days a week, how did I not recognize him? My Safeway checker! It was so different seeing him dressed in civilian clothes, eating at the same Denny's as me at 2 a.m. I know, not that strange to you but at the time it was a phenomenon to moi. Then two plates of food were set in front of us. French toast: I had none. I hadn't ordered any. I started eating his. It was the best effing French toast I've ever had. wth? At Dennys? Yes. Shut it. My husband kept talking about how awesome Rosie was for re-filling his coffee. It seems like a small detail but when you've had bad experiences 6 restaurants in a row, prior - it means a lot. As he paid he wanted to take a minute to give Rosie kudos to the manager. A large group of folks had just entered the door to be seated and I plopped down right in the middle of them. I was tired and they seemed friendly enough. I heard one of them declare as she slightly wobbled, "Wooooohooo, I'm feeling it." One of the ladies seated right next to me said, "You know who you remind me of?" I replied, "Hmm, who?" She replied, "That ...Madonna". *giggles* I saw my husband glancing around wondering where the heck I had disappeared to. I stood up, he saw me and we started to make our way out. One of the smiling men by the front door said out loud, "Damn, I think I had a few too many". I smiled back and said, "Well, why else would you be at Denny's at 2:30 in the morning?" But if you're looking for some reasonably priced food at all hours of day or night, then you're in the right place. This place is a usual for my co-workers and I as that's the only time we can get together since someone is always working during the day. The employees know us and are always friendly and on-top of our drink and food preferences. I've even been here to study one morning by myself. Came here at 1:45 am, ordered the brisket sandwich, jr cheese burger, the all sampler ( onion ring, boneless wings, French fries, mozz sticks) & the Nashville spicy chicken sandwich & a coke all for curb side pick up. Website said it would be ready at 2:01 am. Didn't receive a confirmation that order was ready to be picked up. Had To come inside and wait extra 15 mins. Drove home to see the forgot my Nashville sandwich. ( 12 mins away) so, I drove back but on the way I called and informed them I was coming back because my sandwich was missing but the gentleman who answered said he can only take Orders. But also said he would call this store to let them know I am on my way to pick up my missing item. But he informed me 2/3 mins after being on hold that he was Told from the workers here that there's something wrong with the phones... (now I'm already pulling up to location of dennys) so I walk in with the receipt. And I tell the waitress an item was forgotten. She goes, I'll tell the cook to make another one. & laughed. ( while I'm waiting, the phones were ringing.. looked like miss too good for her job didn't want to pick up the phones, because she was watching her telanovelas.) But she probably didn't know I can understand Spanish, and I heard her say she came back make the sandwich. Turns out, the cook didn't make the Nashville sandwich because he didn't know how and was asking the waitress how to make the sandwich. I don't know where to start I started bringing meals to the homeless since MARCH and since Denny's joined with there donations and helping us every Sunday it's been a blessing to our team and more so for the less fortunate. During the Covid we started with 20 meals now with Anil the Manager from Denny's supporting our mission we fed 96 people with breakfast to dinner. We walk in the two hostesses in the front talking in front of an old lady trying to pay her bill but ignoring her in front of her face , then they tell us to grab a menu and seat ourselves? we seat ourselves and then it took them almost 20 minutes to get a drink , and mind you the restaurant is damn near empty . So then after one waitress helping one whole area .. slowly might I add . It wasn't like the waitress was under immense pressure ... it was a couple tables . And she was too busy smiling in her friends face and talking gossip in the back to get food out quicker (cause plated food was sitting under the warmer while they all gossip) so a man came sat in a table by where the waitresses (way after we got there ) got coffee immediately, then ordered his food and GOT HIS FOOD BEFORE US AND OTHERS WHO CAME WAY BEFORE Him! We been going here for years but our last couple of times, the service has gone way down. It takes along time for a waitress to come ask for coffee and it takes another 10 minutes or more.
