Haven't been to Denny's in a long time. Parking was convenient in the back even though there was no signage, so we had to asked the worker. Lupe was our waitress and she was an excellent! Attentive, nice, and well-meaning. read more

This is a fantastic Denny's!!! Christina seated our large group of rather loud adult children in a small room so we didn't disturb the other customers. And Carlos was a friendly and patient server. We really enjoyed our meal and felt so welcome! We have already planned our next visit, and we'll be back again Aug 2. This is a perfect location for our monthly dinners. Also, the food is so much better than any other Denny's I've been to. I love the Hall of Fame Burrito. Very, very great experience!! (We came last month, too, & loved that visit as well.) read more

Amazing service great food really enjoyed the atmosphere of the the restaurant. Food was fresh

Received a email for a free grand slam or dessert for my birthday. I order my grand slam and a coffee to go. I really could use this today because the weather is a little chilly and suppose to rain later. Thank you Denny's for remembering my birthday. This is the worst dennys ever. Employees are extremely rude. Service is horrible. It's not a good place to eat at all. Saw the cook spit in someone's food. The front person (male) is a horrible person, not professional at all. Cussing and yelling in front of customers. read more

Someone promote David S! He shouldn't have to get yelp reviews to be promoted to waiter! What was the interview process for? He's an awesomely nice guy and great at what he does so just DO it gosh darn it! Thanks David! read more

I have to give this Denny's props! We were seated right away, ordered right away and the food came out within 5 minutes. Considering how many people came in right after us, we got wonderful service and enjoyed the food. And just a little side note. We tend to eat late often and this location is always open. Not like some of the other places that say they are open and you get there and it's closed. I totally understand that COVID affected a lot of businesses but at least update your info please. Thank you! read more

I LOVE TIPPY, she was so sweet and gave us amazing service. The Diner Q sauce is to die for and the service was amazing! Would come back just for that sauce. read more

Guadalupe was a great server and gave the best service at this time and food was cooked perfectly!

We were desperate for food! We had no choice but to go to Denny's! We were scared, but we went for it. We were pleasantly surprised! Food was tasty, plentiful and at the right price. We enjoyed our food and we're picky eaters! Lol. Service was great as well. Waitress was polite and brought us coffee prior to us asking for a second cup. In addition, the restroom was clean! We'll definitely come back :) read more

I love my local Denny's!!! Its always a clean restaurant and the service is always great!!

This is the absolute worst Dennys Ive ever been to. Got told the wait would be 15 minutes, however after 20 I still wasn't called. Decided to ask how much longer, turns out the lady never even wrote my name DOWN. I had to wait another 15 minutes just to be seated. When we were finally seated and given menus, nobody checked or asked if we were ready to order for about 15 munutes. We saw other parties being sat down, taken their order almost immediately and served drinks all within 5 minutes of them sitting down. I find it incredibly disappointing that just to be able to order it was over an hour. We had little kids with us visibly upset and hungry and felt we were being discriminated because of that. I had to ask them to take our order and the lady went to look for a server. Another 5 minutes just to find one. To finish this terrible experience , the food was burnt and over cooked. All in all it was hours of wait for a mediocre meal and beyond terrible service. Don't waste your time here. read more

Waited more than 45 minutes for food to be served. They're understaffed and overwhelmed. It's sad because it's a great location.

Denny's is a classic - service at this location is great! Our server's name is Laura and she was very attentive and friendly.

Food was delicious. It was great service. Fast and efficient. The server was really attentive and continued to check on us.

Fast ,good service thank you been here twice this week and server Angela was great and friendly

Very good service. Laura was very friendly and attentive. She also made good food suggestions.

My order is usually perfect at this dennys but this time I asked for no ranch they put ranch in my sandwich and then just wiped it off the sandwich. There was still residue from the saude on the chicken and I could taste it. :( the lettuce was also very soggy and brown-ish. Very sad about this read more

Came with my husband to try out their new Fantastic 4 breakfasts. I ordered the human torch skillet and he the eggs in a basket (not a Fantastic 4 meal) and strawberry pancake hush puppies with 2 coffees, bill came to $23! The skillet was very hot! Took me a while to eat, it was hot to the last mouth full! It wasn't spicy though, didn't see or taste any jalapeños, added some Tabasco to help it along. Husband enjoyed his meal, I thought it looked dry. Hush puppies were nice and crispy outside and fluffy inside, I liked dipping them into the cream cheese frosting, yum! I was pleasantly surprised by the new decor, nothing fancy but it definitely needed the renovation. The TV was on a Latin channel showing a novela, so if you like looking at beautiful Latinas, you'll enjoy the view. The yelp deal is for dinner entrées BTW. read more

Denny's Denny's Denny's... my how you disappoint me!! this is probably the worst location! therefore you disappointment me. Spicy buffalo chicken melt deserves the the one star. What happened to the other 4? Heck, the list feels endless. I don't even like to write reviews for chain restaurants. I checked in and saw a free dessert offer for checking in. Of course that's a score in my end. I couldn't wait to use it and try their new milk shakes. When I presented it to the waitress she told me to go talk to the cashier because she is unsure. I walked from my booth to the cashier. I presented her with my check in offer and she informed me that they recently got a new manager and the manager requires folks to print it out. I informed her its a check in. You can't print it out It at home because its through the phone. The restrictions on the check in doesn't say anything about printing it either. So she said she'll ask her manager and would let me know. I went back and sat Down. I then got my food. I then got the check. Guess what she never did get back to me with an answer. My waitress first mistake was telling me to go ask the cashier myself. What kind of customer service was that? Then the waitress came back later and asked if everything was okay. But why did you not follow up with me regarding the result of my dessert. Yes I Said it was fine but I just didn't want to make something small into something big. So I'm releasing my frustration on yelp. My boyfriend and I asked for ketchup and when another waitress gave us our ketchup bottle it was sticky as heck. My boyfriend had to go wash his hands. When we squirted the bottle it was super dark. That's generally a sign of old ketchup. I had to go grab another bottle because I totally did not want to get sick. Yes, me myself. I had to go grab another bottle on my own. Heck they should hire me to teach them about customer service since I have plenty of experience. The tomatoes from my club sandwich was super soft and the texture was soggy. I had to take it out because that's just plain nasty! Gosh I wished our usual Denny's off Rosemead didn't closed down. This location was a let down. I'm in no mood to ever come back to this location. read more

I just wanna give a shoutout to Michelle that works at this location. It was my first time going to the Alhambra location, and she was nothing short of sweet. My order was perfect and she even brought the forgotten item to me before I left. I'm appreciative of her extra effort. Not to mention, the food was great. I'll definitely be going there again. read more

Not a bar-hopper? Don't like clubs? Still love to stay up super late with a few friends for food and warm drinks? Denny's is always there for you! Food: Truth be told, the food usually tastes below par. There's nothing I have tried here that truly stands out to me. I think it's really cute that they have themed menus every once in a while, and they have a "Fit Fare" section for those who are counting calories. The 2 best parts of Denny's meals are 1) the "2, 4, 6, 8" section, where you'll find a good amount of food for $2, $4, $6, or $8 (obviously), and 2) their unlimited hot chocolate. Who on earth does not like hot chocolate?! If you like hot chocolate, go there and get as much as you like! Service: As the years have gone by, this location's service has gotten much better! The staff are much more attentive to the customers, and food has arrived faster. Parking: There's a parking garage behind Denny's (entrance on 4th Street). Usually there's ample parking, but I haven't gone to Denny's during their busy hours yet. It doesn't ever seem to get packed actually. Final verdict: Since this is the closest Denny's to me, I do enjoy coming back to this location occasionally. It's best to hang out late at night when the only opened places seem to be nightclubs and bars. Grab a hot chocolate, order from the 2, 4, 6, 8 menu, and you are SET! read more

My sister heard about the breakfast combo $5.99. We went to Denny's of two weeks ago in June on a Saturday morning and got seated right away. The interior is renovated and looks more homey with painted walls and fake wood floors. Both of us ordered breakfast special $5.99 w/ 2 pancakes, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs our waitress was nice and good on refills. The pancakes were tasty and huge in size, it taste different than in the past. The bacon was smoke taste and not burnt. The sausages were good too. I would come back again, read more

Came in to this restaurant with my immediate family after having to make funeral arrangements for my father to encounter a beautiful soul by the name of Angela , our sever. She didn't know what was going on with us but could see our somber faces. She kept a smile on her face as we couldn't even order and was very patient!! She provide extra fruit to my sister, what a blessing. Little things like this brought a smile to all our faces!!
