My partner and I came here craving a diner brunch experience. We knew it would be busy on a Sunday late morning so we didn't mind waiting for a long time, but we were surprised that once seated, it still took around 15 minutes to even be offered water or silverware. We ordered coffees and were not offered refills once during our entire meal, which was unfortunate considering how small the mugs are at almost $4 a cup. I ordered sunny side up eggs which are a favorite, but was given purely raw eggs on my plate. When I asked if they could be corrected, the waitress gaslit me saying that sunny side up eggs are always completely "raw like that". When she brought me back my replacement eggs they were over cooked to oblivion and tasted rubbery. I also ordered banana chocolate chip pancakes, and my pancakes did not include the chocolate chips! My partner ordered seasonal fruit as a side for an additional $5 and it was just half a banana and a couple of grapes. The dish our coffee creamers came in had mystery liquid and old trash at the bottom. Finally, the bathroom was a disgusting mess and was missing toilet seat covers and soap! This restaurant is clearly suffering from poor management and understaffing and I would not recommend it to anyone. Not what I expected considering the check came out to $60. read more

I wanted a recommendation from her and I took it and I love what she recommended. It was so good and it's been a long time since I returned to Denny's for a late night meal. I came in at 6 am and I was surprised to see staff still having the energy to greet me as I know their night shift is about to end. The food was exactly what I expected but the brisket was on the burnt side. What made my experience here the best was when I lost my retainers and the manager Aphelios was able to help me find it. I went in yesterday morning and considering that it was Saturday there wasn't a long wait time. The waiter that assisted us was very patient and answered all questions we had. I generally don't like Denny's, but when the food and kind service overwhelm other restaurants nearby, you just have to say YES to this one. Thank you to wonderful server Laura for being the absolute best! Great pico de gallo served fresh if you ask. Sure Bagel Exchange is top notch , my go to for a bagel breakfast, but when you're in a pinch for potatoes and eggs, this is your place. read more

Would I come back? Denny's is a convenient place to go since they are all over the place. The service and food are both decent. I like to order the build your own slam since you can pick 4 items of your choice. I believe it comes out to be around $11/12. If you go in the morning there might be a wait depending on the time you go. I think it is best to go around 9am or 9:30am. After 10am you will probably be waiting. They have a small parking located in the back, but it is shared with other shops. If you do not find parking there, you can opt out to park on the street. This would have been a 3 star review but, they did not know what to do with my check in offer. The server put the sundae on the bill and told us to bring it up to the cashier so that they can acknowledge the check in offer. The cashier didn't know what to do and ran off with my phone to ask other staff to see if they knew how to claim the sundae. I would have been okay paying the $3 for the sundae, but not okay with a stranger running off with my phone. When she came back I just told her to charge me. read more

We haven't been to Dennys in a while but it seems like nothing is open after 10 pm. We decided give it a shot and we were pleasantly surprised. Our server, Lupe was great! My wife decided to get the steak which was cooked perfectly.... (If you want medium rare, ask for rare.). I had the hot skillet and my kids and bacon and Mac n' cheese. We got here at a busy time this month and were taken care of very quickly. The food was so good and made just the way we asked. It was warm, full of people and the best customer service as always, we loved the Fall and Christmas vibes. Not enough servers on a Saturday night, no service at all. Food came out 30 minutes later, have to ask for the straws for the drinks, and ask few times for the utensils so we can eat our food... I check-in on yelp to get the free lava cake, and didn't get one. Have to ask several times to get the boxes for to-go, even have to ask the server several times if we can pay the check... I came to this dennys location just getting off of work. I ordered a kids French toast with eggs and a milkshake. It took about 15 min wait before I was handed my food, I went straight home and when I opened the box, I kid you not, the French toast was eaten?!? Never in my life has this happened to me I am beyond astonished. I can't even eat it because someone's mouth had been on it I honestly just want to get refunded because what a waste of my time that was and now I have to go to sleep hungry. Do they not provide their employees with lunch breaks. I'm confused what the wait of 15 min was for if my food was eaten before getting it. I know we don't expect a lot from chains likes this but they can excel with customer service and how they wait on people. The service was lack luster and we waited almost 10 minutes to even be asked about drinks and mind you it was about 2a in the morning. The place was empty but 1 other table. We realized when we walked in the waitress was the elder gal sitting outside by the sidewalk. I know it's not her fault but this type of position does require a little more speed and noticed she could barely walk, probably the reason she wad sitting down. This place got 2.5 stars for me because the food was good after 35 minutes later from the time we sat we ordered our food. I got the Moon's over my Hammy but instead of scrambled eggs, I ordered it with over easy eggs. You can't never go wrong with that silky egg yolk. I would recommend this place if this is the only option you have but I would recommend you go to another location because I am sure service is better like the one in Monterey Park. read more
