Stack of Double Berry Banana Strawberry Pancakes Philly Cheesesteak Omelette

Got seated right away & servers were attentive & kind! Pancakes were nice & fluffy, philly cheesteak omelette had great flavor, just wish the steak portion was bigger for the price & hoped for the hashbrowns to be crispier. Other than that this satisfied my classic american breakfast cravings. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of seating and tables, also cool that they have a mini arcade room in the back![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Denny's food was good and the service was good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were busy for 3 AM on Sunday![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I just finished an event with a few friends nearby and there was a good amount of groups that were sitting by! [[HIGHLIGHT]]In addition they do have an arcade in case wait is long or just need a little something for some entertainment![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got the ultimate omelet with avocado and toast was on the side! It also came with hash browns! The dish was super filling! Tip: There is a restroom and free parking on the side of N 4th street!

Moved to the area recently. Been to this Denny's twice so far. Both times service was really friendly and prompt. The food is your standard Denny's food. It's pretty good, but nothing special. But as good as expected. I like their unlimited hot chocolate! I had 3 of them the first visit! They also have a value slam for just $6.99. You can get toast, pancakes, French toast, or biscuits & gravy included. I like their French toast. Not a fan of the biscuits & gravy. First time I had them. Not horrible, but I'd stick to the French toast. They have turkey bacon, which is important for my wife because she doesnt eat pork. Eggs were cooked correctly, wife gets scrambled with cheese, I get over easy. Overall, it's a good place to get some breakfast... or lunch or dinner, but I haven't had much of their lunch or dinner offerings to comment on.

Our server was great but unfortunately found a hair in my food, this is the second time this happens and I tried to give Denny's the benefit of the doubt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location specifically is not the most sanitary when it comes to utensils, cups and the food itself.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Very mid. Save ur money and if you're looking for late night food, I'd get jack and the box over this lol.

Took my wife to the Denny's in Alhambra for Sunday brunch. On the way there, the struggle was not finding updated menu, so here are the updates pages on the menu as of July 2025. I had the sirloin steak and eggs, steak was cooked just right, juicy and flavorful. Only regret? I should've swapped the toast for pancakes. My wife got the Philly cheesesteak omelette and loved it. The portion was huge, she couldn't finish it, so we took the rest home along with her toast. We had to wait quite a bit for a table because they were busy, which us understandable for a Sunday brunch time, but the service and the server, Noy, was nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's not fancy, but it hit the spot for a casual brunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'll probably be back next time we're craving a hearty, no-frills breakfast.

Where's the black lady that use to be here because this became a shit show?! They brought me burnt pancakes twice. They burnt my eggs and the customer service is just awful and before you comment I'm a regular here. Do better!!

The muffin/pie counter. If she was on a break, she might want to leave the register so there would be no expectation of service. If this place closes permanently, I can see why. Sad place -- nearly empty at midweek on a warm afternoon. But my friends enjoyed the pot pies, the pie and it was a great time so I'm assigning 5 stars because we were left alone to have a long three-hour reunion of old friends from high school days. Five stars for the nostalgia, of a restaurant that has seen better happier yummier days. If it's true, that corporate is closing this longtime location, the comfort food and pie will be missed.

Also had the lamb chops, which is one of their most popular dishes, and I can see why. The lamb was cooked perfectly, soft juicy, super easy to eat. I loved that there was chimichurri sauce provided on the side and it went well with everything, including the mashed potatoes and vegetables. Seeing the server and an Asian staff coming out from kitchen confirmed that the cooking wasn't fully American taste bud. But that is the reason why it hit me very well. Honestly, whether you have American or fusion or Asian taste bud, the taste quality is better than some average American restaurants. I tried the butter squash soup, lamp chop, and bow tie pasta with chicken. I was enjoying my soup and lamp chop a lot. The pasta was pleasant to me, but it wasn't exceptionally great compared to the lamp chop. My fiancé loved the pasta though, saying that the sauce wasn't overwhelming. It is not a cheap place to come for, but it is because the food and drinks (good white wine) have quality. The wait for the entrees was a little long, even though it wasn't that busy. I believe it was the chef spending time to make sure each dish was done well, unlike the busy restaurant where chefs only follow the restaurant's recipes to make it quick and easy. Lastly, the ambience was okay, but it was more an older fine dining/family owned style. It had some nostalgic vibe if you'd take it that way. Keep it up. I really hope it will be there forever long.

At the door, it said to seat ourselves & I immediately shot to the patio. The set up: once seated, the server comes with menus, you order & it's a sit down meal. The patio seating is fresh, airy, there are tables, outdoor furnitures (sofas) and bright orange umbrellas for shade. My photos captured these elements. The food arrived shortly, although not all at once. I didn't mind it all because the ambiance was so soothing with the sound of birds chirping away and the background of other patrons talking. The only complaint from Hubby was too many pototo chunks in his burrito. My omelette was hot, fresh ingredients, delectable & the potatoes were mixed with 3 colors of bellpeppers. Oh and the chilaquiles? Pretty darn good! The tortilla chips were crispy, perfect amount of green salsa, freshly diced onions & a sprinkling of cotija cheese.
