I found a bunch of cute christmas decorations along with an awesome mail sorter wall basket. Volunteers and Staff were so friendly and helpful, also just so so nice. Everything is priced super reasonable which is not often the case with thrifting in the LA area. Overall, cute local thrift that donates money to a great cause.

I had to suggest their actual hours so that their website reflected that. Everything is donated and appears to be fast fashion-think SHEIN and lots of polyester, everything goes to charity so there's that I suppose. The workers are entirely volunteer based which makes for a poor system, resulting in the service being almost too attentive with the staff immediately asking what you're looking for and approaching you the minute you pull something off to get a closer look. For example I had to remove some dresses to even be able to look at the dresses but one of the volunteers asks if I wanted her to hold them but then stood there waiting for me to be done which felt uncomfortable to say the least. Because everyone's a volunteer they're bored and try to be "too helpful" in that you can't look in peace and feel constantly watched. In addition the racks were packed way too tight, making it almost impossible to look at the clothes individually. Hard pass for me thank you.

The women working the registers were far more interested in their conversations than helping the only two customers waiting in line. My sister and I just stood there until one of them finally realized she needed to do her job and called us up. She immediately went right back to her conversation and, even crazier, pulled out her phone and leaned over the counter to show her coworker something on it while "helping" my sister put w/ her purchase. No "hello." No "thank you." As soon as the transaction was over, she went straight back to talking. When it was my turn, I didn't even wait to be called up. I just walked to the register because she was still too busy chatting. While I was paying, I noticed my sister carrying her shirt in her hand, so I interrupted the conversation to ask if they had bags because neither of us had even been offered one. It was one of the most laughable customer service experiences I've ever had. Then again, I guess that's what you should expect from Ross.

I needed a suit as a guest for an upcoming wedding but didn't want to spend a small fortune for a…read moresuit I'll likely only wear a couple of times. I'm not a big suit guy, I don't really know what's good or not. I just have some general knowledge about how a suit should fit, and some things to look for. With that said, I had a really pleasant experience recently with Men's Suit Outlet. I went in, got greeted straight away, and it was down to business. John helped me out. Asked me some basic questions about what the suit was for, when I needed it by, what sort of price range I was after, etc. He quickly narrowed down exactly what I needed. Had me try on a jacket to start. It fit pretty much perfectly, no adjustments needed. Then it was on to pants. The pants ran long, but that's to be expected... everyone has different length legs. It would be a bit much to expect them to carry lengths for every leg size. We got a pair that fit my waist well, but was a bit tight in the thighs and calves. John let me know they could let it out a bit. The cost for tailoring the pants was reasonable and competitive. They had the suit ready for me within a few days. I think they likely could have done the tailoring faster if I requested, but I wasn't in a last minute rush so it was fine. Overall I was really happy with my experience and my purchase. The suit looks great on me. Best fitting suit I've probably ever owned. I used to just buy off the rack suits that always fit a bit weird and looked a bit silly. The tailored look really takes it to the next level. So if you're a guy who doesn't wear a lot of suits, wants a nice suit for a budget price, then you should be pretty happy getting a suit here. That's not to say if you are a suit guy with a bigger budget that you can't find stuff here. They certainly had much fancier suits that I certainly couldn't afford. I just thought it was important to point out that they can help out guys who might be a bit intimidated by the whole process.

Lucked out with this place as it's very well within my geographical orbit. Parking is street and in the back (entrance is through a one-way alley), but the back has only a tight, few spots. So you're best off with parking out front on Colorado Blvd. Store is bigger than what it looks like from the outside. Very nice, clean, and well organized. I was greeted by Jack, who was very courteous and helpful. I gave him the low-down on what I was looking for and he immediately found a couple of pieces for me that not only would work just fine for the "mafia" theme (I went the modern, sharp gangster look), but would work on other occasions as well. The slim-fit, three-piece I picked out fit almost perfectly, but Jack did some measurements and said he would be able to alter everything for me so that it was a nice, custom fit. The store had a nice selection of shirts and shoes, so I picked those up as well. The suit and all the other items, plus alterations, came out to a very reasonable price. They offer blazers, tuxes, coats, and other fashion-forward items in different colors that will make me want to come back for sure. Definitely recommend this place!
