I wasn't really planning to write a review but I want to give credit to where credit is due. I was satisfied with the service that I got. The staff at Finishline are pretty helpful, patient, chill, and even help you when it's closing time. I've been to two other shoe stores, and Finishline earned my business. *Good exchange policy. I exchanged my shoes twice (made like 4 visits) cause I'm very picky but FL understood and gave me all the time in the world. Thanks again for putting up with me lol. I always regret coming here every time lol. I already know the employees are rude and of no assistance, however this store is literally across the street from me so I tend to keep going for that reason. The employees are always cussing throwing F bombs ect. Today I went in to price match a shoe of their own website which I've done so plenty of times at the same location and Cerritos location. Today the employee was busy in the gossip so he immediately said we don't do that ugh ok. I was having a good day so I decided to leave and go to CERRITOS AND GUESS WHAT? Me and my boyfriend came in not knowing what we wanted to purchase so naturally we were trying on all kinds of shoes. Tee was able to help me and my boyfriend with all our shoe requests as well as helped other customers and didn't once make us feel like we were being neglected. He did not miss a beat. Although I was just looking I did find a pairvif shoes for my son. I was greeted by one employee and assisted by Kristen I believe . She was very helpful, I noticed the time it took her to get the shoes and the look of the shoe I knew it was a display shoe. Most shoe stores only give you a discount for Mark's but being the shoes were all white , she did get permission to give me 10% off non refundable. I was a happy camper... Worker Karla has a horrible attitude, terrible customer service. Tried to sell me dirty shoes and when I told her they were dirty she tried selling me the idea that it was just the thread color of the shoe even though the shoes were white and the stains were orange. Then when I corrected her she then tried to say that the orange was just the color that has rubbed onto the shoe from the outside of the box even though the inside of the box is brown. Seriously Finish Line??? Like get workers that have a brain and can at least offer customer service. When I asked her if there was some kind of discount for the shoes being stained she ignored me and said they were already on sale. I guess no discount for the stain. No courtesy, no customer service, it was as if I my questions were burdensome. This is the finish line that has it's own store inside the mall independent of any other store (not the one located inside Macy's). Disappointed by my experience at this location. read more

I just want to say that my previous and most recent experience at the Finish Line inside Macy's has been excellent by far. I have shopped at other stores like Champs and Foot Locker and customer service has always lacked when it's busy. Employees always seem to be slow and take forever to help others waiting. However, Tony from Finish Line showed that it's possible to help everyone out when it's busy. This man was ringing up and getting shoes for about 10 people at the same time, able to memorize and bring everything out at once! Crazy! I went back to the store to do an exchange and he helped me out. Although the shoe I wanted wasn't in stock he showed me the new Nike Odyssey React and liked these a lot better. Came in to look for some shoes for my sister and they had a wide selection of what I was looking at reasonable prices. The store was neat and well kept. They didn't have a whole lot variety of shoes on clearance, but I still found some shoes there. Mark was very helpful and answered all the questions I had! Will definitely be coming back! read more

I usually take my kids to footlocker to buy shoes but when they didn't have their sizes I was forced to come here for their Christmas shoes and I'm glad I did. Since it was just before Christmas time the workers here looked busy but I was quickly greeted by a worker named Minerva and she helped get the shoes extremely fast for my two kids despite helping what it seemed like 3 other parties. Even though she was helping others she treated everyone equally which I noticed and she even took the time and offered to show my daughter different colored shoe laces to help match the shoe with other clothes and a shoe cleaner for the shoes, usually at footlocker they just ask if you want to buy a cleaner but this was the first time someone actually showed how well it worked. So I decided to buy one as we'll. I was also amazed that this company also gives you a free magazine subscription which Minerva also helped me sign up for. Overall it was a great experience I now know to come here instead of footlocker( no disrespect) because of how wonderful the customer service was. Like the other poster said this store has gained another family of loyal customers because of the great experience. read more

The girl who is working at Finish Line in Downey Stonewood Mall is completely rude. She has dark to blonde hair. Went in twice two different days and both days she was on the phone with a friend or boyfriend while ringing me up. I went in for an online return had the original return label that came with the package everything she asked for my email confirmation, ID and order online very rude. She didn't even check how much I had payed for it because she was obviously busy on the phone but when I told her to check the order I had payed more she just changed it to the price I had payed without tax. I was already so bothered I just walked out. I never had all this stuff asked for when doing a return. She was more concerned about her phone conversation than any questions I had about some shoes. The guy was very helpful and she was even giving him attitude. Also, mall store opens at 10:00am it was 10:15 and the girl obviously is the one who opens the door or Manager showed up late. Store opened at 10:20am. The other associate who helped me when I went in was also outside waiting for her to open the store. This is unfair as he was on time and probably didn't get payed for the time because this girl was late. I asked for her name and she just went back to her phone conversation. So irritated. This is so unprofessional I told my boyfriend we would never be going back. read more

Went in here to get a pair of shoes I called prior and spoke with a female at the store she assured me that the shoe was available but couldn't hold it she then said there was 3 in the size I told her I was coming from south Orange County to get this shoe if she can please make an exception and hold it. She then said that she is not expose to hold shoes but she will let the other associates know I'm on my way to get a pair. I drive all the way to this store right away in heavy traffic and finally make it there I walk into the store and waited for someone to help me finally Amelio comes up to me I ask him for the shoe he goes in the back comes back and said the shoe is not available I explain to him that I called in and spoke with someone he is not wanting to hear what I have to say and walks away. I then look online again and it shows that the shoe is still available at this location I then go up and speak with him again telling him it shows online. He then starts giving me his street attitude like he is put out for having me ask him again starts telling me if I want the person in the back to come out and tell me him self. I asked who the person in the back his he said the person organizing the back room. I then asked him if he can check his system inventory he said no I already told you the guy in the back said we don't have it. I asked if maybe he can find what person told me they did have it he didn't answer me finally I asked to speak to a manager he replies with his attitude I AM THE MANAGER! I ask him is the manager above him here he said IM THE STORE MANAGER! I then finally asked for his corporate office number he then writes it down and walks away not one word said. I then call customer service and make a complaint was told the district manager would call me back never heard back from him it's been 7 days I call customer service back get hung up 3 different times and finally get a rep on the phone he couldn't find the complaint basically had to make a new complaint was told again that the district manager would call me with in 5 days. I've never heard back from him so clearly customers don't matter matter here. Will not shop here or any other locations again. There is plenty of other places what will gladly take my business. read more
