I've been coming to this store since I was a teenager, and it has never disappointed. They always have an amazing selection, everything from tennis shoes, flats, sandals, heels, party shoes, and boots to cute accessories like purses and wallets. You truly never know what gem you're going to find. On my last visit, I scored a pair of Jimmy Choos that retail for $895 for under $400, and they were in perfect condition. Deals like that are exactly why I keep coming back. The staff is another reason this place stands out. Everyone who works here is super friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. They always go out of their way to find what you're looking for and give you the best deal possible. Just really good people all around. In my 20s when I was in my prime let's just say that I used to make a lot of money in Tips. Every week I would come to this place and spend at least $300 . I took a picture of the price range which of course is super cheap compared to a lot of stores. It was my neighborhood scavenger hunt. I think that they are Nordstrom returns that have been fixed up to sell again . I don't mind. Every pair of shoe that I ever bought from their always looked brand new so I didn't care. It's a hit or miss for me. I wear a 5 1/2 and never find anything for myself. My husband found some Calvin Klein shoes, but only wore them a few times because they are too painful. My daughter found some Guess shoes for winter formal for only $25. They have a great selection of boots, a few high end shoes. I saw some Cole Haan shoes I paid full price at Nordstrom at Henry's for 1/2 of what I paid. Too bad they weren't my size. I used to tag along with my sister to Henry's over 20 years ago, I can't believe it's still around. It is a hidden gem, I'm still waiting to find a pair of shoes for myself though. read more

I've been coming here since the very early 90's. I've bought some of my most memorable and unique shoes, from this locally well known establishment. I'm a recovering gatekeeper for my favorite best kept shopping secrets, this is one of them. The owners are lovely and the customer attention is very familial and chill. I wish I had pictures to post of the iconic shoes I've found here. Stare inducing shoes, I could never afford elsewhere, if even possible to find. I can't believe my cousin never divulged her hidden secrets where she buys her shoes:/ We were having our girls day out yesterday and I had mentioned to her that I was on a search to find me the perfect lipstick RED heels. She took me here today. Arranged in sizes, I strolled down from the half size down, my actual size, and the half size up aisle. And there she was. Way on the top shelf of my actual size section, captivated my eyes, and I knew I had to have her. I was tickled with butterflies in my stomach and such in awhh I screamed out to my cousin, "OMG, I found it! " So I slipped in her anticipating we would be the right fit together. She felt so right and so good as I worked her down the aisle, back and forth, watching how she moved on the mirror! DAMN! I was in love. Then, my world came crashing down. There was a significant amount of space at the back. There was no way I can walk on 4 inch heels without the fear of tripping and breaking my ankle. The fit was just not snugged enuf. Ugh!!! I can buy that funky color that does not go with everything or that special pair of dressy shoes I may only use once a year. Yes, some are reconditioned/returns. Check carefully. Most and brand new. Yes, it can be hit or miss- but I have always found something there that is nice and reasonably priced for designer and name shoes. First of, this is not a second hand store as a couple of reviews say. There is a diference between second hand (Thrift) and Store returns. Many of the shoes they have are Department store returns, damaged, or some even brand new shoes that never sold for whatever reason. I'm a long time customer of Henry's Shoe Experience! I once found some really cool Salvatore Ferragamo shoes, that I had seen before at Neiman Marcus for $430 and like a year later I found them at Henry's for $280! Brand name shoes for very discounted prices. I have a feeling these shoes are the ones that are placed on display in big department stores. They're not dirty or anything but make sure you take a close look coz sometimes, there are little defects on them. I normally come here every 2 weeks and already have more shoes than I need. I have a pair in the closet for 2 years before I even got to wear them. Couple of pairs went into donation. I'm going off track. Well, just go see for yourself. I love Henrys!!!! I've been shopping here for years. Last winter I bought a pair of Kennthe cole Boots for 50 bucks leather and soooo nice. I get compliments everytime. I saw a pair of boots I paid 160 for at steve madden here for 40 bucks but a month or so later so I had to chalk that up to most of winter when I wear boots the most. The location of the store is not the best and the atmosphere is completely different; you never know what you're going to find. Therefore, I would describe this place as somewhat similar to the aura of a very nice, clean second hand store... HOWEVER, be aware of the things you will find! Heels, boots, sandals, sneakers... the possibilities are endless. I suggest that you walk in with little or no expectations and you'll walk out very happy with great pair(s) of shoes in your hands.
