I went to pick up an order at another store but passed by this store and saw they had a Disney collection I saw online. I was searching for 2 shirts but was unsure of what sizes to get but there was Brenda that came to the rescue! Her approach was very welcoming, friendly and very professional. An absolute Joke of a business. Maybe the in person stores are better but the online store/customer support is an absolute joke. Every time I have called, I always get someone with attitude. Their "inventory" is at best, a general "idea" of what they once had. They will have a particular size "in stock", for weeks. But, when you order it, it takes up to 5 days for them to cancel the order update their "online inventory" for a day to show its out of stock. Check back a few days later, it's back in stock! I purchased several shoes from this place. Though the shipping isnt the best, with most pairs coming in a plastic sleeve, i did order several in one order and have yet to receive two pair. I sent 2 communications and have held for an answer on a couple calls. Since i lack patience for non sense as an army vet, i prefer to keep my remaining good health instead of waste more time trying to get the shoes or the money, as i value my time and health more. Recently my family surprised me with a pair of the black and blue AJKO1 shoes for Fathers Day and wanted to protect them with the same Jacob Markk cleaner I purchased with my white and red AJKO1s a while back. I came in looking for the Jacob Markk shoe cleaner but they tell me that they no longer carry it and the sales rep goes on to sell me the Crep Protector which apparently the store is co branding in some sort of partnership here. BIGGEST MISTAKE I'VE EVER MADE!!!! I followed each step per the product's instructions only to damage my brand new, never worn shoes. And when I called the store to complain about the damage their product did to my shoes all they said was sorry and come in for a refund for the cleaner. But what about my $160 shoes?! They said they couldn't do anything for me. Then why would you sell a product you can't back up like this? Let's start with...Emilio. My wife purchased a pair of shoes for me at this location 2 days ago. Unfortunately she got the wrong size, she gave me a gift receipt along with it in case I needed to exchange it since she wasn't sure about the size. She was explained ( also by Emilio when she first bought the shoes) that I could exchange them at any of their locations. This morning we went to different stores trying to find my size and had no luck, we went to their other location by Firestone and Paramount and by this point we were annoyed that we couldn't find my size anywhere so we asked for a refund. They told us that since we didn't have the original receipt and only the gift receipt that they could only do exchanges and not refunds, they said we could go to the original place of purchase and that they could pull from the gift receipt the original receipt to give me the refund. They even highlighted the number that was needed to pull the original receipt. When we got there Emilio right away got all defensive and said that he could only do exchanges or give us store credit. What good is to me store credit if they don't have shoes that fit me? I told what they told us at the other location and he still refused to help. He told me that without the original receipt he couldn't do it. I asked him 3 times if with the number highlighted on the gift receipt by the other store manager he could pull the original receipt and he refused to answer my clear asked question and kept giving me attitude and the run around. At this point he got me upset and annoyed, I asked him to put on the phone the store manager, he asked me to wait, went to the back, and just like that he said he was going to do it and give me the refund like he's doing us a favor. After this experience I will most definitely not purchase anything from this store nor I recommend it to anyone else. This kid put me in a bad mood unnecessarily. I prefer not to write negative reviews but this has to be shared. I was referred to this Shoe Palace from another shoe retailer in the same mall. They were gracious enough to let me know they had a particular shoe in my size at this location, even though those shoe retailers are competitors. I walked into the store a tad past 11am today (Saturday). There was nobody in the store but me and two workers (one male, one female). They didn't acknowledge me when I walked in, and kept on with their conversation, in the middle of the store, I may add. I was looking for the Jordan 1 Low - "Royal Toe" in a size 9, but I kept browsing the shelves just to see if I'd maybe want something else. I couldn't find the shoe on their inside displays but then I saw it on the front-store display, so I headed in that direction and perused the shoe. It was my size. The employees kept chatting with each other and, by that time, there were probably 3 to 4 more consumers in the store. I put the shoe down, looked around, and walked out. I had every intention of purchasing the shoes, but their lack of any type service really struck nerve with me. I fully understand if they were busy helping others, but they weren't. I'm not going to beg you to stop your full-on conversation just to help me. It must've been important since they didn't even see me. When I left, the two workers were done with their conversation, but they still weren't greeting or helping anyone else. The male worker was still in the middle of the store lounging around like nobody was in there. I purposely was conscious of this. If this was Walmart, I'd understand, but it isn't. From being a regular customer of Shoe Palace, I know they take pride in having GOOD customer service. The employees seem a lot more peppy and social than other foot stores. Every SP I've ever walked into, it always takes less than 5 seconds for an employee to at least say hello, even if they're busy at the register. It could've been the easiest $100 for Shoe Palace.
