The service was really nice, even though it was super busy, and the food was really good. They have a lovely buffet for breakfast and there were lots of options including an omelet station and waffles. The drink options are okay, they have different juices and you can get coffee and water. The ambiance is super nice and welcoming, and I really enjoyed having breakfast there.

My husband and I aren't fans of buffets under normal circumstances but we were given free breakfast by the hotel so we figured, why not? We came down for Saturday breakfast buffet and scored a very nice booth right across from the buffet area. Our friendly waitress immediately brought coffee and juice and checked on us throughout the meal and removed the plates, etc. She was a sweetheart. She even brought me a mug to include in my instagram pic that said "Guest House at Graceland" while I was taking pics of my guitar waffles, lol. The choices are great - they had eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, gravy all warm in the warming station. They also had a waffle bar and omelette bar you could order made fresh for you. My husband had a HUGE omelette and enjoyed it. The waffle was good and had a guitar in the center. They had a side bar with fresh fruits, yogurt, parfait and cereal and milk. The food was very good, warm, fresh and constantly being refilled. Inside seating is nice, tabletop was nice, and the decor is nice. It was very clean. We actually really enjoyed the meal and commented it was way above expectations.

Fried Chicken Dinner with mashed potatoes and asparagus

I ordered the fried chicken dinner tonight and substituted mashed potatoes and asparagus for the mac n cheese and southern green beans just due to preference. It was three large, boneless pieces of deep fried chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked and not dry - it was delicious. The mashed potatoes were good as was the asparagus. The biscuit that came with it was perfectly baked. The whole plate was lightly covered in a hot (spicy) honey, but it was not too much. Just right. I would certainly order and recommend this plate if you have a want for good, Southern Fried Chicken.

Delta's Kitchen is located in The Guesthouse at Graceland, which is very convenient if you're staying in the hotel. But man, you pay for the convenience. More on that in a minute... They offer a very nice breakfast buffet that includes all the usual meats (pork sausage links, bacon, turkey sausage), scrambled eggs, grits, biscuits, and potatoes. There's also an impressive omelette bar and a separate fruit, pastry section. Service is good, very helpful. The bad news: it's $29/person, which IMO is slightly steep, especially for the food options and quality. Also, the potatoes on the bar were 50% bell peppers and onions and when we walked out, we all reeked of onion smell. It was so bad, we had to change clothes. So, if you're staying at The Guesthouse and touring Graceland that morning, then yes, it's convenient for breakfast because there aren't many options close by. But tomorrow when we check out, we'll find another place for breakfast that's not $60+ per couple.

Chicken biscuit breakfast

Delta's Kitchen is the restaurant located in the Guest House at Graceland. Hubby and I had breakfast here for our two days' visit. The breakfast buffet was huge, so we decided to order off menu. Our server was friendly and attentive. The Community Coffee served as divine and hit the spot. I had the fruit yogurt two days in a row. The fruit was fresh. Hubby had the chicken biscuit, which he enjoyed. Great value for good fresh food served with a smile. The restaurant is convenient for guests and serves food all day.

Omelette bar, perfect grits, two types of potatoes, crisp bacon.

We had the buffet this morning. Was wonderful! Wide variety of food, tasty, temperature great. We were greeted with smiles and pleasantries by the hostess staff. Erika was our waitress. She was welcoming, smiling, and met every need- kept drinks filled, followed up routinely but not intrusively. Ambiance- tables spaced enough to allow privacy, clean dining room. Buffet well stocked and clean

The facility as a whole is quite fun to be in. The professionalism of the host was wonderful. I certainly appreciate that. The dining, decor and environment as a whole was pretty good. We arrived for dinner. Bread with fruity butter complementary. Wine, NY Strip and shrimp and grits was ordered. Food took a while but server advised the steak was the reason for the delay. All was very well seasoned. The steak was well and rare at the same time. (We weren't going to waste it). There was a couple dining across from us thoroughly enjoying their interaction with their server. There was lots of giggles, back passes with even a back pinch at one point. Probably some sort of southern hospitality I'm unfamiliar with. The wine selections was decent. We also came by for breakfast. I had the kings pancakes and it was ginormous. I didn't take a peek at the buffet but my husband had the buffet and He said my plate was better than the selection up there. I would recommend.

We recently stayed at the Guest House and ate both dinner and breakfast at Delta's. Breakfast is buffet style that includes an omelette station, a waffle station, biscuits and gravy, cereal, fruit and so much more. It is $25 per person for all you can eat and our coffee and tea was included in that price. I have to admit I was surprised at how good the food was. We had a very friendly and attentive waitress during our meal as well. When we went for dinner, the restaurant was empty aside from one other table. Our waitress seem to still be in training but was friendly and attentive. We ordered the chicken and waffles dish and it was delicious. You got a lot of food for your money. Overall I was happy with Delta's. It offered a nice, relaxing atmosphere with good food and service.

Ambience is very nice. Just regular common breakfast. They cooked the omelette by order on the spot, same thing with the waffle. Maple syrup provided in individual mini bottle. Staff are friendly, but 3-4 person on front desk looks too much.

At first I was skeptical because it was a buffet but I must say everything was very yummy. We had short rib, fried chicken, Mac and cheese and scalloped potatoes. Plus a great salad bar. We came to celebrate my mom's bday and they did a great job to make sure it was special. Our waitress was awesome. I wish I would've gotten her name. She's also a scorpion. If you're reading this..thank you!

This is the place to have breakfast if you are staying at the Graceland Hotel. Buffet Breakfast was $25.00 PP. If you are familiar with the Free Breakfast Buffets at Hyatt House--it's a bit better than that but this Buffet excels in Omelets! Included is they will make you an Omelet to order and Waffle to order. I told them that I was very hungry and they made me the largest (looked like 10 egg) egg white omelet with all kinds of vegetables. It was the BEST! Kept me filled All Day during the tour of Graceland. Craving it now. And their fresh fruit--also very good. Service from the waiter was excellent, but I could tell that the rest of the staff needed some more encouragement. My first time in Memphis.

Food was ok but pretty pricey. Like everywhere I guess. Service was really slow and the place was empty. Small menu.

The food however was honestly meh (in my opinion). I got a creole dish and to be fair my dish looked beautiful. The plating was 10/10 but the taste for me left something to be desired. After eating this dish I questioned if I even like creole sauce because it really just wasn't that good. If this is a preference issue, I honestly don't know. I also thought the charcuterie appetizer had a weird mix of items on it from club crackers, to meat and cheese, and random veggies. Not bad but just kind of a weird mix. My husband ordered the salmon and he said it was good, not the best he's had but it was good. Other friends of ours got the white fish among the many other dishes. I did have a salad with these apples on it which was incredibly yummy. I will say though my dish looked amazing some of the other dishes were not plated well. Not to nitpick but to want to be considered a more upscale restaurant which means charging guest more money than say a local Applebee's then knowing how to appropriately garnish or drizzle sauce to elevate at plate is important (see my picture of the chicken dish). All and all not my favorite restaurant but definitely not the worst!!

I like the atmosphere, not too large of a dining area, I like the separate room of tables, with a fireplace, along with the area of booths for a more intimate setting. The bar itself is large and has seating on the outskirts of it as well.

I do believe C and I have only been here once as a couple. It did not go well at all, so we have not been back together, as she is holding a bit of a grudge. It's a long story but it all ties back to service. That night we had the worst table in the building and service was spotty at best. Food was still pretty good, just whole ass annoyed by the entirety of the rest of the experience. I am lucky enough to be able to be taken to/host dinner with clients and manufacturers a good bit. They like places like this so I get by ever so often. Gotta love expensed meals!!! Tehehe I like the open kitchen concept they have and the bar is really cool. The metal shelves at the bar that store the booze are bad ass. It's warm and cozy and has a great vibe overall. The last time we sat on the enclosed patio. I had not sat out there before. I think the larger tables all go out there. We had seven and there was another group of about twenty in the same room with us. Food ranges from fairly good to fucking great. I've never had anything bad here, but a few sighs have been had, mostly by misunderstood expectations of what I was getting I would say. So, quite possibly I am the problem. As with most of my problems, actually... The oysters Rockefeller are very different from the norm. Fried oysters on a side of spinach. That's what it seems like. I ate it up, don't get me wrong. I did just switch to only fried oysters after the first one. No need wasting stomach space on spinach. Charbroiled oysters is always a good move and the preparation remains traditional on that one. I do find the oysters to be quite massive and hard to chew the whole thing at once. Cutting them just seems silly though. Steaks are prepared very well and to your liking each time. I have never had a bad one. Good flavor too. I am going to spring on the Hawaiian Ribeye the next time I go on my dime. It's a classic that I remember from Steak and Ale as well as Houston's. Both now gone from Memphis. I like the she crab soup an awful lot, and just about every entree I have had here is killer. You really cannot go wrong with the food. Just order something you normally like and boom. I will also say this. The short ribs I had last time were some of the best I have ever had. Bravo on that! Additionally, I had two giant pieces for like $40! I could only eat one of them after all of the appetizers. Oh.... Yea. They have a hot lobster roll that is good! You don't see that in Memphis very often!! Get you some. Wait.... Lamb Lollipops. They have evolved some of the years but they have really good lamb chops. They used to be the exact same dish as their sister concepts of Itta Bena, BB Kings, and Lafayette's. I am not sure if the whole family still has the old version or not. Here it has changed a good bit. As I write this, I crave it.... Ugh. Damn your foods and your seductive prowess food skills! Lastly, Tommy Peters did great things for this city's food scene. I am sad that he is gone but I know he was proud of this one! Ok. That's enough, Adam.... No one reads this crap anyway. '26 - 48

Let me start by saying this: I truly enjoy this restaurant. The atmosphere is unique, the concept is fun, and historically the food and service have been reliable. That's exactly why this experience stood out so much. For a party of our size, we would have preferred seating toward the back of the restaurant where it was noticeably warmer and more comfortable. Instead, we were seated in an area that felt a bit chilly, which set the tone for the evening. The bigger issue, however, was with the food and service execution. Four dishes out of our party of twelve were essentially untouched. Two scallop entrées and the Steak Frites were overcooked, tough, and unfortunately inedible. The special ribeye of the night--the most expensive entrée--was also not finished. What concerned me most was that no one from the service team paused to read the table or ask why multiple plates remained full. Only one dish was removed, and there was no follow-up conversation about the others. We spent over $800 that evening, including drinks, appetizers, sides, and desserts, so expectations for attentiveness and quality were understandably higher. When a table leaves several entrées uneaten, that's usually a signal worth acknowledging. After the visit, on January 9, 2025, I took the time to provide feedback privately through OpenTable in the hope that management would review it and respond. Unfortunately, I never received any acknowledgment. Even a brief reply would have gone a long way. Silence, in this case, was disappointing and felt like a missed opportunity to demonstrate care and accountability. I'm sharing this feedback because I believe in the restaurant and want to see it succeed. I work in a customer-facing industry myself, and I know firsthand how small service touches--checking in, asking questions, and following up--can make the difference between a good experience and one that keeps guests coming back. I genuinely hope this was just an off night. I would still consider returning, but I do hope the level of attentiveness and follow-through improves.

Despite a wrong order, I will go back again and verify my order by site next time. The food was really good, the staff was moving quick and they were courteous. The space is tight, but manageable. I will definitely recommended Marvin's.
