I wanted to love this place. They own the Hatch next door and that place is pretty good. I felt like they just are new and haven't figured out what they want to make this place yet. I had three apps and they were awful. Couldn't finish them. Wings were so overly salted and peppered rendered them inedible. The brown buttered car app was savory- but it rested on this corn mush that was sweet and just threw off the whole dish. It's almost as if like a new chef just got out of culinary school and has been experimenting, trying to elevate things but the spices and flavors do NOT mix at all. The menu is small but weird. And the pizza is average. It's got a great thin crust but the options in the menu aren't classic at all. None looked appealing so we tried the basic margharita pizza which should be simple and good- barely had any buffalo mozzarella and was just soggy. Horrible. Maybe they'll get it together once they've been there a bit and get feedback. Oh and the cocktail I had was miserable with flavors that didn't meld and was half the size of a normal martini and 17$. Even the Caesar was weird that came out on a plate with a heaping pile of red and green leaf curly lettuce- with out being mixed and a random spotting of weird lemon crunchy dressing that fell off the tower and the tiny plate and spilled everywhere- and wasn't good at all. I normally don't write negative reviews often but this place was a disaster. Even down to the seating options. Waiter was completely inattentive and the table was a mess and we had to ask to have it cleaned after the mess from the Caesar. There were hardly people there yet three surrounding restaraunts were packed. Note to self: Go to Paso for the beautiful landscape and wine, without the snobbery of Sonoma and Napa. But just be weary of where u eat because the town hasn't quite become the "foodie" place it's craving so hard to be. read more

Came here after being recommended by a local and it didn't disappoint! The atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice and we'll decorated. Our server was friendly and everything came out quickly! We both enjoyed our pasta dishes. Everything was well cooked and had good flavor. I can't remember the name of the cocktail I got, but it was also very good! Our group of 6 ordered cocktails, appetizers, pizzas and dessert at Dellas. Cocktails: Carribean Cove, Oaxacan Sun, Solarium The cocktails were all good and well made. Appetizer: Fried Artichokes was perfect! Pizzas: The spectacle, Alessio in the woods and Girl Crush. Flavorful and yummy pizzas. Dessert: Banana Cream Pie was delicious! Casual and good ambiance. Della is the sister restaurant to Hatch next door, so there is no surprise that the resataurant listed as a Pizza and Gin Bar, is much more than your standard Pizza. We ordered the Chicken Parm and it was a huge portion that is plenty for 2. We also got the Ceasar and Friend Artichokes which we both delicious! As we saw the pizzas coming out, we did have a bit of fomo, as they loooked amazing! We will have to go back for pizza next time! read more

We had a dinner here on one of the nights of our girls trip and had an amazing time! We loved the ambience and how cute and cozy the place was. The service was also great. An amazing choice for dinner. Drinks: Pink Pony Club - Reminded us of a vodka lemonade and was really tasty! Not too sweet. Della's Martini - This was a very interesting drink; the oil was too much, tasted like bread. Caribbean Cove - Fun and sweet drink! Aperol Spritz - The syrup was a little too thick but overall an ok drink. Appetizers: Cam's Caesar - Don't be shocked by the purple lettuce! It was a good salad with delicious dressing! Meatballs - Super saucy and flavorful. Arancini - Amazing crunch and flavors in this dish, one of our favorites! Pizza: Straight Up Now Tell Me - Super tasty pizza. They know how to do a basic cheese pizza for sure. Girl Crush - The perfect combination of spicy and sweet. Uptown Funk - We ordered this pizza with gluten free crust which was surprisingly good! It's hard to find a good gluten free crust so we really appreciated it. Dessert: Chocolate Cream Pie: Tasty but super small portion that was not worth $12. Great little sister restaurant of Hatch where they serve mostly Italian. I loved the unique pizzas they offer but more so the names were so creative. My girls didn't love the pizza as much because the ingredients weren't the typical on a pizza so it overloaded their senses lol. The bolognese was delicious and the calamari had a special kick to it. Horrible phone manners, I called to see if they have outdoor seating which accommodates people with dogs. The receptionist promptly exhaled a dismissive and exasperated no, then promptly hung up while I was in the process of saying thank you for your time. This was an absolutely delightful eatery in downtown Paso. We walked so cannot comment on parking. We found a beautiful, smallish restaurant with high and low tops. The service was friendly and attentive. We were seated right away with reservations. The "Caesar" salad wasn't a true Caesar but it was excellent. The wood-fired gluten free pizza was scrumptious. The on-tap special "Della's" red blend was outstanding. It is a fun restaurant - joyful atmosphere with pretty full tables. We had a truly fantastic meal to open our weekend in the area. Della's was our first group meal in Paso Robles for my best friend's recent bachelorette party. Pros: They were easily able to make a reservation for our group of 10 on a Friday night. The gentleman host was extremely friendly and welcoming to our group. (He provided us the best customer experience and was even willing to take some group photos.) The food tasted decent. Cons: The food menu was disappointing and not extensive. The portion sizes were too small for the price/value. They are not willing to split checks for a larger party. Our original plans fell through for dinner so we did google searching and drove around the neighborhood and came across Della's and we were not disappointed! I wish we had taken pictures of our food but I neglected to do so. I started off with a delicious and refreshing drink called Kiss me, I'm botanical. Then we shared the Roasted beets which we enjoyed and was perfect for our party of three. We then shared two pizzas, Morta Della's and All choked up, both were delicious and the Morta Della pizza was the best pizza I've ever had! Last and certainly not least our server/bartender, Chandler, was amazing. He was friendly, attentive, and offered great suggestions. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. read more

Amazing place for pizza in Paso Robles! While driving down to Cal Poky for Orientation, my dad and I stopped in Paso Robles for dinner to avoid hitting San Luis Obispo at peak dinner hour. Coincidentally, the whole town was seemingly at a concert in a nearby park, so we were the only other party in the restaurant! Ordered the Spring Fling and the calamari, Chicago Fire (I couldn't spot a Chicago Med or Police pizza on the menu), and Cubano pizzas to share. I liked the Spring Fling, which wasn't overly sweet and had a flavor reminiscent of the syrup used in an Italian cream soda. The calamari had a very light fry, meaning it didn't lessen my appetite for the pizzas. The best calamari is the thin stuff, imo. The Cubano pizza was one of the most creative pizzas I've eaten in a while. I've had my fair share of cubanos, and I've gotta say, this tasted like one; they nailed it with the spicy mustard, snappy pickles, and tender braised pork. The Chicago Fire was also good. The meatballs were spicy and it was a lil sweet. I honestly wasn't a fan of the burrata because it was so strong I couldn't make out any of the other flavors. Still a great option, though. Both the crusts on the pizzas were light and airy, and you could taste the char from the oven. They had some tasty-looking pies on the menu, but I was too full to try anything else. For next time. We've been here twice before and it was decent, filled a gap when we had multiple people in our group who all eat different things. On this latest visit we had one person who ordered a gluten-free pizza - it took forever to arrive, and when it did arrive it was burned and the consistency of cardboard. This is a cute little spot. It is a little loud but a great place to sit and chat. The pizza was really good. My husband and I got two different 12 inch pizzas named Alessia and girl something. Could easily be shared with 4 people. Had the Chicago Fire pizza. Great wood fired pizza and the crust is on point. The peppers were really spicy but it was a good combo of meatball and ricotta. Overpriced IMO--We were in town for a few days and decided to get some pie. We got three pizzas and it was about $100. Pizza was fine nothing mind blowing--just fine--definitely not worth $100. The Neopolitan-ish pizzas are not large--probably around 12 to 14 inches. Paso comes with a certain price tag and this place is definitely of that ilk. read more

Stopped for dinner with my husband and our 3 and 1 year old boys. The first issue is that they don't have high chairs. I had to hold my one year old the entire time in my lap. Second issue was the gluten free pizza option. It was terrible. A premade crust that was flavorless and spongy with little to no sauce and toppings. It was $32, so I expected a lot more. They also charge $15 for kids buttered noodles which seemed odd because we dined at their sister restaurant the night before and it was more upscale and they charged us $10 for the kids noodles and had high chairs! The two restaurants next to it are way better options and have the same owner. Not sure how this one missed the mark so badly. read more

Had dinner here while up in Paso for a few days. Great Pizza. There for 4 adults and 3 children. We ordered 4 large pizzas to share and calamari for an appetizer. Although Cathy originally thought that it was going to be too much food, we easily ate it all. I think that we probably could have also gotten one more appitizer if you are that hungry. The pizzas were all really good. pictures of them are within, but the Girl Crush was quite good. None of them were bad though! Add a couple beers, and you have a pretty good dinner!
