A great small business with the owner being hands on. She was a little delayed in opening, but no big deal. This place is full of basic donuts, which is great. Not trying to be all fancy. I went with 2 and was on my way. Again, the taste was what you would find from a business keeping it simple. And it was right across the street from my hotel, which was the best part. Your previous reply to my Google review was absurd & downright incorrect when you misinformed what actually happened when the girls were fundraising for cheer near your business. You failed to inform in your review that you were harassing the girls by sitting in your car staring and calling security (by the way telling them that the girls were affecting your business which was closed). Yes this is exactly what security told Shay. So I will defend the girls which was only 2 by the way and the fact that they were not causing any issues. The only issue was you and when the girls were asked to leave that was not a problem. To know that the girls felt uncomfortable by your behavior said a lot about you as a business owner. And to think that you supporting schools like Tumalo in which I totally support, that you would do that after the way you treated the girls who actually go there. shame on you for the behavior that affected the girls the way they did! Delish Donuts is by far the superior donut option in town. The donuts are delicious, it's super close to my house - dangerous - and parking is plentiful since they're in the Macy's lot. These donuts are delicious. They are probably the best I've ever had. That being said, there is more to this review than the quality of food. There is also something to be said for being open when you're supposed to be open. I have been to this store about 4 times but only once have I ever been able to get donuts. That's because the business seems to close whenever they want regardless of hours posted. This is unacceptable. Once or twice sure, but 75% of the time I go there, they're close even with posted hours saying they're open. So for donuts, I'd give them a 5 . For work etiquette and dependability, I give them a zero. Customers evidently are not the most important thing here. Sad to say, but even with the great taste of these things, I will not be coming back until I know that they're going to be open when they say they will. I have already spent enough gas money for nothing. You can take a look at the other reviews, they agree that the donuts are great. But no one seems to take into consideration anything else about the business. This is the most honest review you're going to get. The donuts are good, but not good enough for me to waste my gas driving to get donuts 3 times when they're supposed to be open. I will not go to a shop that can't even stay open during it's posted hours. It's unreliable and dubious practices that keep it from thriving. Update: This review has also been posted on google. Just walked in today and got some donuts. Very friendly staff member who helped me. It is kinda expensive, the donuts for the most part were very fresh. The maple bar really ruined my satisfaction for the donuts. The maple was too thick, way too sweet, and didn't look visually appealing. This is the best donut place in Bend. I would say the world but I haven't tried them all. The staff is the best and very accommodating, always smiling and friendly. We have learned they do two bakes a day so if you show up around noon and they are closed then come back around 3 for the next bake. It will be worth the wait. I am thankful we do not live in Bend or we would be there more often. When my mom came to visit I introduced her to them and she agreed they were the best and is constantly requesting that I visit her but I have to bring donuts. read more

They steal a copyright name of "Cronut" that was invented in New York City by Dominique Ansel. After trying 10 recipes. It is a cross between a croissant and a donut. Ansel has a copyright on the word Cronut and no one else can use Other bakeries make a similar thing, but call it by a different name like dossant or doughssant or the like. The owner Delish knows it Cronut is a copyright word but he flagrantly ignores it and puts the word cronut on the tray in the counter. I have no respect for people that flaunt copyright law. Actually they looked rather tired and not nearly as good as the originals. The other reason for the one star is that whenever they run out of donuts no matter what time of the day, they close up. My work wanted to get bacon donuts for a co-workers birthday. For starters we were quoted the wrong price. Since they were so cheap we decided to get 2 dozen. Upon arriving they said it would be about $50. They did end up giving us 10% off of that, but still not what we were quoted, leaving our poor coworker, there to pick them up, short money. So we get them to the office. The bacon is some gross uncooked bacon. When you bite into it, the whole bacon piece pulls off and is chewy like rubber. They also used a sweet maple bacon. So instead of sweet and salty, we got sweet and sweet. These donuts did not taste good. I took the bacon off mine and threw it away. If these employees did not know how to make these donuts they should have talked to their manager. I wouldn't be as upset with the price if they had been made correctly.
