New place in UVillage. Friendly staff and patrons. Their wines are always good. We didn't try any food. Will try again!

Dessert!

I came to DeLille for an RDI event but decided to have dinner and get the full experience! The space is very inviting and thoughtfully curated by DWS. We were lucky to be seated in the "speakeasy / wine tasting room" that have a more lux feel with Bordeaux burgundy painted walls, posh seating, a moody ambience. For dinner, I ordered a few appetizers to share with 2 others that joined me that evening. - Crab salad 4/5 - Grilled & chilled blue prawns 4/5 - Beet salad 4/5 - French fries with smoke aioli 5/5 For dinner I had the seared black cod served with charred cabbage and carrot sauce. The cook on the fish was great. Really enjoyed the different textures of the dish. I would rate it 4/5. My friend had the Mafaldine Pasta and it was rather delicious with the flavorful lamb and al dente pasta, 5/5 would recommend that dish. My other friend had the steak that came with a large portion of fries (awesome!) For dessert, we had to try all 3. The olive oil cake, opera cake and the pistachio. Highly recommend any of those desserts. Very well done, rich and just the right amount of sweetness! The service was amazing. We had a fabulous time and would come back. The drinks were also very delicious. You can't go wrong with DeLille wine!

I had been looking forward to coming here and was actually disappointed. The service was excellent and I had a French 75 cocktail that was one of the best ever. The staff was friendly and the bartender/waiter was fun to talk to. My friend and I shared the Dungeness Salad appetizer and it was so bland and had NO taste of the crab. The the lunch menu was limited and disappointing. They only sell brunch Friday-Sunday. I had the croque monseur and it was meh and greasy, along with fries which had been raved about and there's lots of places with better. My friend had a chicken sandwich which was meh also and felt the same about the fries. The French 75 and bartender were the only things to rave about.

Had to pick up a gift for a colleague to celebrate New Year's so decided to drop in for the first time. The sparkling options were excellent and I was able to go with the rosé. Staff person who assisted me, Sterling, was incredibly on point. Interior was beautiful and elegant and welcoming all at the same time. Especially loved the floral arrangement which was the centerpiece in front of the wine wall. Looking forward to returning for some food.

Impeccable service, good location, very good food and wine . I went for Sunday brunch with friends, had the smoked salmon Eggs Benedict, and wasn't disappointed. Nice location, beautiful airy space, good for a special occasion!

Review based on brunch service only. DeLille En Ville is a great addition to UVillage and it's nice to have restaurant option that has a more 'adult vibe'. The decor/feel is different from their Woodinville restaurant, it has a bright and warm feel and there was a private section I think for DeLille members. There was also a semi-private section which is great option if you have a lare party. On to the menu - overall I felt like there was good selection for shareables lunch/brunch and heavier plates - it wasn't too little or too much. Price wise, it seemed a bit high but comparable for similar style restaurants. It's nice that you can also just grab coffee and go without dining. Food: Mimosa with mango juice: this was delicious! The bubbly was great - I wish I ordered a bottle! Croque Monseiur: good size for the price, it was hearty, cheesy and good amount of ham with a good balance of mornay sauce - it was just enough to sop the bread. The salad was simple but tasty and was not overdressed. Egg came late, so the croque was not as warm anymore. Apple & Hazelnut Mille Feuille: good option if you're looking for something light. The apple butter and vanilla cream was a tasty combo, the cream had a nice dense but light texture - it'd be be great to add on top of ice cream! Service: front of house was friendly and welcoming and our server was nice and helpful. Not sure if they didn't hear about the egg for croque monseiur, so it didn't come with it when served. When asked about it, he said it was an extra fee and we informed them that we know about it and still wanted it. My friend and I were surprised that they didn't take our dishes back - instead they were left at our table and the eggs came out seperately. While I was observing the other tables, it seemed like it took some time for servers to get orders or even check up on them. All in all- it was a good experience. I would for sure go back for drinks and try other dishes - great place to meet with friends, but will wait until some of the service wrinkles are ironed out.

We had been to the DeLille Winery in Woodinville and were excited when this opened in U Village. This is not exactly like the Woodinville one, but maintains the high standards and absolutely worth a visit. The interior is very nice and new. I love their wines and usually have the D2. They have a wine here that was unique to the restaurant and may be a little better, just outstanding. Service was good, if slow at times (particularly waiting for food). We started with the cheese plate. It was great, with four cheeses that were all delicious and some great crostini. The large plate was good for a group of four. For the main course, I had the steak frites. The steak was cooked perfectly and really wonderful. My wife had the salmon with cabbage of all things--but that was just perfect as well. Everyone loved their meals. Then for dessert we split something that I do not remember name, but had layers of pastry with a cream in the middle and a fantastic caramel sauce. Superb finish to a superb meal. We will definitely be back.

We made reservations for Friday during their grand opening. I have mixed feelings about this place for now. There's nothing glaringly wrong but I felt that the experience and food was not worth the price point. You can easily spend $100 - $150 per person with drinks, an app or dessert, and main course. With that price point, I'd expect to be wowed by something, but this experience left me pretty ambivalent. Nothing about the experience left me feeling like "you have to try this!" or like they had a competitive advantage over other restaurants of the same price point when it came to taste of food, drinks, or apps/dessert. This place has a different vibe than the Woodinville restaurant. The front area is a lounge where you could have coffee during the day. On a sunny day, this would be a nice place to sit but it felt drab for dinner after dark. As you move back into the restaurant, there is a back room with blue walls that feels much more like a dinner spot. There's lots of nooks and crannies throughout the place that could make it interesting for private groups. I would like to eat dinner in the blue room if I return, saving the front room for lunch, happy hour, or coffee. I love duck dishes and carrots and neither left me feeling like I would come back for them. The duck lacked richness of flavor despite the accouterments and the carrots were too soft. Don't get me wrong, they were both decent but not memorable. The best food we had was the apple mille-feuille for dessert. I'd never had mille-feuille before, so it was fun to try! Crispy and tasty! The drink menu is extensive, as you'd expect from a place associated with a winery, so I would like to explore more of that! If you want to check this place out, I'd recommend coming for happy hour drinks before committing to a full dinner. I'd be willing to come back but would wait a while until they find their groove on the food menu.

Josh You were one of the people that my concerns were expressed to and you had every opportunity to address my concerns while I was at your restaurant which fell by the wayside. What more do you need me to address?

The new DeLille En Ville is a delight! The space is beautifully decorated and bright -- think marble tiles, wood and brass details, jewel tones. We were seated in the solarium, which is a really lovely bright and airy space too. They just opened two weeks ago. We walked in around 4:30pm without a reservation and were seated but I think they do get a lot of reservations, so consider making one. The service was kind and attentive. The focus is very much restaurant complemented by the wine and even some cocktails; this is by DeLille but it's really not a tasting room. We went for happy hour and were happy with the selection of bites, cocktails and wines by the glass. I had the fried chicken sandwich which was good, the fries were especially good. This is a lovely spot for a quick drink and snack or to settle in for a meal and drinks. I will happily come back here.

Pretty good! Jason our server was fantastic during the soft-opening. Good ambiance and lighting. Seafood was great and steak frites were delicious. The meat was too chewy for my taste but overall delicious. Panzanella was ok but worth a try. Great wines as always. Thank you, Jason!

We had the best time today, trying out this new restaurant for lunch. We were seated in the back, side room, which was a lot less noisy than when you first walk in the door. We had a great table and an even better waiter. He attended to everything that we asked for. The cappuccinos were wonderful, the Quish, Lorraine, and freeze salad or spectacular, and the two complementary birthdate desserts were out of this world.

Risotto
Rebecca Q.

Such a beautifully decorated restaurant in U Village! Came for the wine tasting but also tried some of their French dishes. The seafood risotto was very uniquely tangy and not overly creamy and the assorted bread slices were large and moist. Did the 3 reds tasting and ended up taking a bottle of Pinot noir home. Also loved the 2024 rose and took that home as well (although they ran out of wine bags). Our waiter was funny and even found a coffee shop inside as well.

This is one of many newer businesses along the stretch of Stone Way N from Seattle's Wallingford to Fremont neighborhoods. This is a nice, intimate spot with welcoming staff. There are both table and counter seating on the main floor, additional seating on the upper floor. Pleasant, cozy ambiance with wall art, merch, and low light. Quite a large variety of wine bottles to imbibe onsite or peruse for purchase and takeout. Judging from my TGTG pickups, they have a great baked goods source/purveyor whether from onsite or obtained elsewhere. I've been able to enjoy quality baguettes, artisan loaves, sweet and savory baked goods. This is indicative that onsite menu items are high quality to accompany any apps/small plates/charcuterie plates and glasses of wine. We ordered the focaccia bread, carbonara, and the chicken pasta with marsala sauce. The focaccia was really dense and crumbly. The dryness paired with the density/heaviness of the bread made it a bit hard to consume without any vinegar or olive oil. My wife and I actually resorted in using the masala sauce in my pasta as it's saving grace. It lacks the bounciness and fluffy, yet crispy, texture of a good focaccia. Speaking of the marsala sauce, it was WAY too sweet. The sauce felt loaded with cream, and it was too overpowering (albeit a nice pairing with the brick of focaccia we had). The chicken was super thin and overcooked, as it was so dry and stringy. Definitely would not recommend this dish. The somewhat positive note was the carbonara which my wife had. Not bad, but my wife thought the sauce was too cheesy. Also - my wife and I came in on an early Friday evening (around 6 PM) and was met with some hesitation. They mentioned that they may not have a seat for us, as we didn't make a reservation. Luckily, and graciously, we were granted a table. But what was kinda odd was that other groups of people started to trickle in - some seemed to not have made a reservation - and they were welcomed and seated immediately without question. Odd. Overall, I wouldn't even say this place would scratch any Italian-food desires or cravings. Hope this place continues to thrive in the heart of Wallingford, but sadly it didn't stay in ours.

Burrata was placed on top of spice-roasted delicata squash and topped with apple balsamic, pomegranate, hazelnut with a side of toasted baguette. I thought the burrata was the best dish out of all. For entree, I had braised short rib with pappardelle port cream sauce, blistered tomato, and sage. I thought the sage had an interesting flavor - it tasted like it was roasted to a crisp. On the other hand, I probably should've gotten something else because I don't really like sweet pasta dishes, and port cream sauce was exactly that. The hostess was sweet and honestly the most helpful person we interacted with. Unfortunately, our waitress came across as pretty condescending anytime we asked questions. For example, when we asked what came on the charcuterie board, she explained it was "a variety of meats, cheeses, and dried fruits." When we tried to clarify and asked what specifically was included, she responded with, "Again... meats, cheeses, and dried fruits." It felt unnecessarily dismissive. After ordering food, I ordered a cocktail but later realized it came from a can, so I politely walked up to ask if I could change my drink order. Instead of quietly handling it, she yelled across the restaurant to the bartender to cancel the espresso martini. The restaurant wasn't loud, so it just felt awkward and uncomfortable. When the food arrived, it was simply dropped off with no explanation. The small plates were hidden under oversized napkins, and when my friend asked if we could get small plates, the waitress pointed and said, "They're right there." There were three of us and only two plates, so we had to ask again anyway. Then when our drinks came out, she held the tray out and told us to "grab your drinks" instead of setting them down herself. She didn't say it rudely, but it felt odd from a service standpoint. To be fair, the food and drinks themselves were good. That's what makes this more disappointing because the place really could be great with better hospitality and attention to service. As we were leaving, who I assume was a manager was standing at the bar on a laptop and said "thank you" without looking up or making eye contact. She looked visibly annoyed. Maybe she noticed the gratuity was lower than expected, but gratuity is earned. I'm not someone who expects over-the-top service, but this experience didn't even meet the basics.
