    Sautéed pork belly rice bowl.

Random stop while getting my Moped serviced. Rice bowl is the way to go! I got the stir fried pork belly, came a light gravy, sautéed mushrooms and onions. Good amount of food, and I am an eater. Cashier was lovely. I will be back to try more things. Th

Deli & Bop never disappoints and their food is always delicious and that's where we decided to go for lunch this week. Of course I got their BLT which is my favorite. I was torn between that and their meat Jun plate which is also good. Lots of food too for a reasonable price. My coworkers got the bulgogi sandwich, lemon pepper salmon plate, and the pumpkin sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their food. I think I'll need to try the pumpkin sandwich next.

This was probably the best steak plate lunch I've tried in downtown. Every food I've ordered at this place has been so delicious. And it was LOADED with food. The steak cubes were all cooked to perfection. (I think it was Medium) Juicy, soft, tender and it was seasoned perfectly!! I couldn't stop stuffing myself with it. HIGHLY recommended!!

Wow, it smelled heavenly in this place when I first walked in. Garlic Butter Steak with rice and the sides for $18.99, super yummy. Plate was full & heavy, I could only manage to eat half. 10/10 Also got a side of the Korean fried chicken wings, also 10/10 Only stumbled upon this place because I had an appt next door. Would definitely eat this again if I was in the area.

    Shrimp Udon Salad...the best!

During lent, I wanted to try something different. So, I went to Deli and Bop and ordered shrimp udon salad. SALAD was delicious and will eat it again.

Breakfast to start the day... Well, that's usually what we do so what you'll find here I'll you that & more... much more! Deli & Bop is cozy café on the ground floor of imperial Plaza which address is Kapiolani you can find some metered street parking along Cook Street. Here you'll find breakfast is what I come for as they open at 7:30 in the morning andthe menu selection is quite smaller but that select a few are awesome great choices not to be missed. I was disappointed to see their focaccia flatbread was out so I decided on the " all in one" which is basically it spam, little smokies, Portuguese sausage, and a hotdog with one egg your way all on top of rice. What comfort food to start your day the sear on the spam was so nice a perfect, this was definitely a meal for two. Service here has always been so lovely and nice. It's such a nice option to come in this little place and support local. Thank you!

Deli & Bop opened recently in one of the storefronts of Imperial Capitol Plaza. Limited hours. M, T, TH, & Friday only, serving breakfast and lunch. It's a two person operation, so call ahead to place your order. Number is (808) 200-0752. The two times I called, they estimated it would take 30-40 minutes. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Owner is really nice! There's metered street parking on Cooke Street and ICP has parking. Three tables inside for dine-in and a number of tables outside. I've only done take out. First time I went, I got their Sweet Pumpkin Sandwich. It's KABOCHA! The pumpkin salad part had dried fruit and nuts in it. Came with lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickled onions. I really, really, really enjoyed this sandwich. Came with chips. Next visit I ordered their Side Order Seafood Pancake. Generous portions with lots of seafood! Definitely would get this again. They have two pork belly rice bowls. Spicy and not spicy. I tasted the not spicy. Comes with onions and mushrooms and thinly sliced pork belly. They do not skimp on the rice! Not sure if they put sesame oil in the stir fry but it was a bit strong by itself. Eaten with rice, it was fine. Also got to taste the Lemon Pepper Salmon. Enjoyed how lemon-y it was. Thin piece of salmon, so was a bit dry. But solid dish for $10.99! Plate lunches also come with a potato salad, bit of green salad and other banchan type items. I'm going to try to go thru the entire menu to find out my favorites!

The sign outside says Plaza Clubhouse but everything inside is Deli & Bop. And it's very Boppy! The owner/cook is a happy pleasant woman who often is singing and bopping along to Kpop while preparing orders. I forgot my wallet one morning and she let me take the Toasted Foccacia anyway. Of course I came back the next day, paid for it and ordered lunch cos it was so good the first time! Calling ahead for large orders is encouraged and also just in general. But you can walk in which I did both times so far and only waited 10 minutes. It's a small cafe with three tables but there's outside seating too so lots of room. Hours are limited though due to the nature of the location. Lots of weekday, downtown working people foot traffic. Toasted Focaccia? The bread was soft, the bacon crispy, the cheese melty and the spinach and tomatoes nicely balanced. The pumpkin sandwich? Yes. The bulgogi sandwich? Yes. Seafood pancake? Yes. I basically plan to come back as often as possible and eat my way through every thing on this menu.

Well there is enough parking in the back parking lot. But there's this security guard there. I asked if he's the parking attendant and he said I'm security. I asked where machetes is and he said that's in the front I only care about the back. So I guess that's his only job to watch the parking lot. And it's located across a homeless camp. So I can see why the need for parking security. Such a turn off! Upon entering machetes I was greeted. The counter was covered in devices I guess a lot of people order from here. I ordered a turkey and salami sandwich. The worker then asked if I wanted it on the white or brown wheat bread. Then I responded I want everything it supposed to come with. I thought I heard him say a second thing but wasn't sure and I was looking closer to the menu. I didn't realize you can add items to the sandwich for free. The worker then hands me the sandwich wrapped ready to go. I then said oh sorry can you add peppers, cucumbers and Italian vinaigrette. He did not look happy. I apologized saying sorry it was my first time. He said it was cool. Well proceed to pay. And he said have a nice day and I said thanks and left. Sandwich tasted amazing! Big portion! The wheat bread was so soft and light. Refreshing from all the vegetables. And moist from the vinaigrette. Although peppers were missing. Total for just the and sandwich was $13.40. Not a bad sandwich. Just a weird location and weird vibe. Don't forget that there are free addons and a list of them in a tiny section on the bottom of menu. The team works hard to craft your sandwich every time, and I always get a warm "thank you" when I pick mine up (I swear I got into a thank-you battle once, and of course, they won). I highly recommend the tuna sandwich. It's seasoned perfectly and generously filled with tuna. The greens are always piled high. Shredded carrots, spinach leaves, and more sprouts than you'd think possible. It's healthy and DELICIOUS. I usually add avocado, and the sandwich with avocado comes out to $13.75, which is a great deal for Waikiki. Oh! and you get a little skewer of two pineapple slices! It's cute, refreshing, and perfectly ripe every time. The last smoothie I ordered was the Avocado Green Island. It's made with mango, avocado, spinach, banana, greek yogurt, and coconut milk. It's creamy, slightly tangy, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. I've also tried their chicken salad sandwich (money!) and my favorite, the Captain Salad. I recommend getting it with Caesar dressing. The brand of ranch they use isn't really my thing. They also have a homemade balsamic vinagarette that sounds amazing. The salad is huge, topped with turkey and generous crumbles of bacon. I'm telling you, they're serving hit after hit after hit at this spot. Go and enjoy ASAP!
