A little tough to find via Google Maps, but enter the walk-through mall area (towards Duke's) from the street side, NOT the beach side and walk all the way through and it'll be on your right (near laundry machines). Stuffed sandwiches, one of the best value meals we've found on the island during our stay and it was surprisingly in Waikiki. We got the turkey + avocado sandwich and a build your own salad, total was ~$27, but the portions are large. They don't skimp on the avocado, that's for sure. And on vacation, it can be hard to get in your veggies, but this is the spot to do so! I love that sprouts are a part of their veggie mix. Conveniently located near Duke's, there's one outdoor table nearby, but really, just pick up a sandwich and take it to the beach! Staff was very friendly. Plenty of options for sandwiches and salads (and maybe more options, just what I noticed). I got the tuna sandwich and added a slice of pepper jack. I said no mayo or mustard, though I'd probably recommend mayo. There are so many veggies that it needs a little sauce. The veggies make you feel like you're eating something super healthy! I'm going to start by saying you won't find a sandwich shop in Waikiki like Pai's Deli. Their sandwiches are packed with fresh ingredients and tons of flavor. Skipping this place would be a crime. And prices are very reasonable for what you get. It's a hidden gem, tucked inside the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort just to the right of Duke's. I've been here many times and have ordered both smoothies and sandwiches. Let me tell you, the bread is incredibly soft, the greens are crisp and fresh, and the protein is ALWAYS tasty. The team works hard to craft your sandwich every time, and I always get a warm "thank you" when I pick mine up (I swear I got into a thank-you battle once, and of course, they won). I highly recommend the tuna sandwich. It's seasoned perfectly and generously filled with tuna. The greens are always piled high. Shredded carrots, spinach leaves, and more sprouts than you'd think possible. It's healthy and DELICIOUS. I usually add avocado, and the sandwich with avocado comes out to $13.75, which is a great deal for Waikiki. Oh! and you get a little skewer of two pineapple slices! It's cute, refreshing, and perfectly ripe every time. The last smoothie I ordered was the Avocado Green Island. It's made with mango, avocado, spinach, banana, greek yogurt, and coconut milk. It's creamy, slightly tangy, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. I've also tried their chicken salad sandwich (money!) and my favorite, the Captain Salad. I recommend getting it with Caesar dressing. The brand of ranch they use isn't really my thing. They also have a homemade balsamic vinagarette that sounds amazing. This place is a small sandwich shop tucked away near Duke's restaurant in Waikiki. If you're looking for a less expensive lunch, this is your place. The sandwiches are very filling and well priced. A combination that's really hard to find in Waikiki. The staff is very friendly and helpful, although there are not a lot of options, the combinations that they offer are just right. The toppings they put on the sandwich are really excellent, I love the carrots! They are very busy though. So if your wait is 15 minutes to 30 minutes, you may want to consider going into Duke's sitting at the bar and having a tropical cocktail while you wait. read more

There's a lot of interesting smoothies and sandwiches. Came in to look for it and couldn't find it at first. It's located before getting to the pool. There's not really any dining area around it as it's just a window. Actually affordable. It's about $6 for a smoothie. Also these are made with pure fruit. I got the Mango Pineapple. As for the food there's plenty that's affordable. It's about $5 for the Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwich. Basic, but there's a choice of creamy or crunchy. This proves there's no need for good food to be expensive. Hard to find at first but worth it because it's cheap. It's located in the Outrigger on Kalakaua. There really isn't anywhere good to eat your meal - you take it and go somewhere else - or to wait while they make it (not terribly long, but not fast, either) - you just sort of stand around in the stream of people going to and from the pool. Conveniently located in the outrigger Waikiki, this spot works out of a small space where you can grab and go because why wouldn't you wanna enjoy the beautiful views of Waikiki Beach? I ordered the egg salad and chicken salad sandwich. I thought I might get half-and-half, but it actually came together on the bread. I really liked the taste of the chicken salad egg salad with all the vegetables. And the entire sandwich is only $13 which is a great price considering Waikiki prices. This was a great find kinda of hiding in the Royal Hawaiian Center in the general area of Dukes. We wanted something other than resort/hotel food, this was most definitely it. It is a very small deli that serves it up right. You will need to walk to it, it is off the beach and off of the main rode of Waikiki. The produce is extremely fresh, it is a large sandwich that could easily be shared. It was very reasonably priced, even with the Very Berry Berry smoothie it was just $30.00 for everything we ordered. It is primarily for take out orders, there is a single table with 5 seats located near it but really, just grab and go back to the beach, hotel or wherever. All I know is that I walked down a long hallway with the word Duke's at the end, and you wouldn't know it existed unless you turned right at the Duke's sign on the wall til you see Pai's Deli tucked away in a tiny wall. Is it the best sandwich I've ever had? Definitely not, but for $8 and for being in Waikiki where everything is overpriced, you bet this amazing! Pai's is still our go to for sandwiches in Waikiki after all these years of discovering the shop back in 2016. It's still in the same location near Dukes inside the outrigger next to the laundry area. They take credit now for purchases over $5 and they're still serving deliciously crafted sandwiches that are beautifully presented. My favorite is the chicken salad on a croissant with mustard added but the sprouts removed. Sandwiches always come with a couple of pieces of fresh pineapple on the side to end the meal with something g sweet. My hubby always get the turkey avocado on wheat with cheese and mustard added. Make sure to get a smoothie which are made with fresh fruit. My go to is the pineapple, mango and papaya but the hubby always get a pineapple mango, no papaya. And if you're like me, you'll be a repeat visitor each time you visit Waikiki and go several times during your stay while laying out on the beach. read more

If you're staying at the Outrigger or any of the surrounding hotels this place is a daily stop in my opinion. The prices here will save you money and everything is really fresh and made to order. I tried the tuna, turkey, and chicken salad/avocado sandwiches. Recommended them all. It's safe this place doesn't miss so swing at anything that sounds good to you. Also get all the toppings that come with the sandwich - trust. My favorite item was the Super Energy Smoothie which I substituted the chocolate protein for vanilla protein. Felt like I got one everyday. Let's not forget about the service. The ladies that run this shop are all really nice! I think one of them owns it. I meant to ask, but you can definitely tell she takes pride in making the food/drinks. If you're staying at the Outrigger you should be here once a day for sure. read more
