    Chicken Wrap

Only reason I'm not saying five stars is because it needs a second tortilla to really hold it all together! Other than that it was incredible, the guy seems to genuinely enjoy what he does there and he is good at it! He was pretty fast for being by himself tonight cause it was busy! Love the little food truck area though, lots of a cool trucks if you don't want a regular drink there's plenty of teas, refreshers and other things at trucks nearby too!

Well first off they where out of mac bombs and those are what we really wanted. So instead of being able to get the Mac daddy burger or Mac spicy chicken sandwich we had to get a scoop of the reg Mac on the side. We waited about 10-15 minutes for the food so not bad!! The fries were kinda tasteless. Chicken was super yummer and burger was so so. Bacon chewy .

Tried the hot Mac & cheese balls as well as the regular Mac & Cheese and they were amazing! The Mac and cheese has a great flavor to it and was super cheesy. Service was prompt and friendly.

The chicken Mac wrap was absolutely amazing! Looking at it was mouthwatering and it tasted even better once I took the first bite. It had a lot of great flavor with the chicken and mac & cheese, and I would definitely recommend adding barbecue sauce. It had a good sweet flavor to it that helped. It is been one of my favorite meals on this trip. Great ambience around with the other food trucks. It is very heavy, so I shared it with my boyfriend and it was the perfect amount. With the other trucks around, you can always get this with something a little lighter. But I would definitely recommend trying this. You won't regret it.

Service was fast and the food was high quality. It's located in a little park with other food trucks. If you're looking for something very American, this is the place to go. Great steak, great chicken, great bbq, and great Mac and cheese! The portions are good as well. I recommend this truck for a comfort meal!

It took a bit of time- but the wait was worth it! Best Mac and cheese ever -not even kidding.

$20.00 plate of dried out Mac with "cheese" sauce

Visited Thursday 8/1 with my family, there were 5 of us including 2 who are vegetarian. We got items from other trucks and were pleased. We also ordered a plain large Mac n cheese from Aloha Mac Shack. It took about 20 minutes to get our order. Once we opened it we were surprised, it was a small amount of dried out macaroni with a small amount of "cheese" sauce on it. I took it back to the truck to ask if this was their $20.00 plate, they confirmed it was. They were nice enough to take it back to "fix" it. After 5 minutes it was returned the same way just more. I didn't want to post this publicly but no one responded to my messages on IG. Please see the picture.

We ordered a chicken wrap with buffalo sauce which came with Mac in it. We were expecting a cheesy Mac and cheese, but instead it tasted like plain noodles with no flavor. The chicken was the only saving grace, but the sauce was on one side of the wrap. Fries were crispy, but lacked seasoning. Disappointing considering their name.

People and food were amazing. My husband has allergies and they accommodated them very well. We ate here 3 nights in a row and they gave us a complimentary small Mac bowl. One of the best Mac and cheese bowls I've ever had!

Just when you think it's imPASTAble they certainly did it!! Lucky to find this golden yummy at the What the truck Kaka'ako Makai held every second Fridays at the former Fisherman's Wharf location which is a stunning place. Aloha Mac Shack has transformed our classic Mac and Cheese into a bougie treat you'd been dreaming of into reality with menu items from their grab and go (Mac Shack Burger, Mac Shack Chicken Wrap and Mac Shack Dog) to plate lunch (Steak, Chicken or Kalua Pig) which of course include Mac and cheese as a side. Strolling around taking in the super chill vibe while enjoying the musical entertainment of the night I decided on a much more portable item like the Mac Shack Dog simply put hot dog all surrounded by golden Mac and cheese and fried to the most incredible crispiest masterpiece! Mind you it is all made to order of course so it does take some time which was about a ten minute wait but is it worth it...absolutely!! Being that I was warned to give it a moment to cool which I took full advantage of that time to finding a spot to chill, the outer coating is just super crispy and amazingly held all that yumminess in perfectly even as I bit into it each and every time and it gets even better dipping it all in that velvety cheese sauce that I couldn't get enough of lol! Follow them on Instagram @alohamacshack so you can find that gold at the end of the rainbow. Thank you!

Parking is super easy with the complimentary structure, and the café is located on the bottom floor alongside other vendors. One thing I immediately appreciated was how well air-conditioned the entire market is--it's nice and cool, which makes sitting and eating there really comfortable. The cashier recommended the turkey pesto croissant, but suggested swapping it onto ciabatta since it's one of her favorites--and I'm so glad I trusted her. It was phenomenal. The flavors were balanced, the bread held everything together perfectly, and it felt like a step above your typical sandwich. I also had what looked like a simple salad, but the vinaigrette and candied pistachios really elevated it and made it feel more thoughtful than expected. The staff across the board were friendly and welcoming, and there's plenty of seating--whether inside the café or out in the open market area. Honestly, the value surprised me the most. I paid under $13 for everything, which is hard to beat for the quality. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

And you're going to need that for your day jaunting across Waikiki in your new seal-print bathing suit. So ditch that Moko Loko and grab yourself a beautiful sandwich from Sprout, you'll feel a lot better about your trip to Hawaii. I love that Sprout has vegetable-forward options even in their meat-based sandwiches. The pesto chicken salad was loaded with beautiful green goodies which made this treat as aesthetically pleasing as it was delectable. They're also slapping down some of the best local Hawaiian ingredients into these here sanguines. The pesto itself was mac-nut based, which was intriguing. I'll be honest, I couldn't taste the difference between that and a pine nut pesto, but it was friggin delish pesto either way. The only downside I can think of is that the bread here lands somewhere between "ok" and "good". I've never had a bread quite like it, but it reminds me of a mix between an artisanal white bread, and a painini bread that you would find in Italy. It got the job done, but I feel like it could be upgraded. Sprout is worth a visit before or after your beach trip. The surrounding neighborhood is also a lively area with tons of fun restaurants and shopping.

I was so disappointed they no longer offer the lilikoi matcha- I know that flavor combination would've been amazing! Hopefully they bring it back someday. The matcha itself was on the lighter side compared to richer ceremonial matchas, but it was still smooth, well-balanced, and not at all astringent. It paired really well with the oat milk, and both drinks were enjoyable. There was a line out the door during breakfast/brunch hours, which shows just how popular this place is. Despite the crowd, the service was friendly and efficient, and we were able to grab a small table to dine in. It's located on the upper level of the Royal Hawaiian Center, making it a convenient stop while shopping in Waikiki. Portions felt fair and the prices were reasonable in my opinion. I also appreciated that it came with two pieces of pita bread. That said, the service really took away from the experience. When we ordered, the employee took our order but did not really start making the salad. His manager had to come out, at which point he jumped a bit and then started assembling the salad. He did not ask if we wanted it tossed, which they used to do, and instead just layered everything together. The biggest disappointment came when I got home and realized my Ono Island Ahi salad had no dressing at all, not on the side and not inside. That was frustrating and honestly a letdown, especially since the dressing is a big part of what makes these salads so good. The space itself looks clean and it is very convenient being inside Kahala Mall, with plenty of parking which is always a plus. Overall, the food concept is great and the salads are still tasty, but the service is lacking and needs improvement for me to fully enjoy coming back regularly.

The team works hard to craft your sandwich every time, and I always get a warm "thank you" when I pick mine up (I swear I got into a thank-you battle once, and of course, they won). I highly recommend the tuna sandwich. It's seasoned perfectly and generously filled with tuna. The greens are always piled high. Shredded carrots, spinach leaves, and more sprouts than you'd think possible. It's healthy and DELICIOUS. Parking is okay, while it seems crowded at times people visiting the market are in and out quickly so there were times when there were many space and other times just one or two. The food was very good. We ordered the Teri beef steak (rib eye). There was enough meat for two meals in my plate. The greens are nice (not romaine or ice berg). I believe they put a mustard based dressing at the bottom and then the greens so at first glance it looks like they forgot the dressing. But they put a lot of it. The meat reminded me of my mother's barbecue meat that she made when I was little. Nostalgic. I also like the desserts in the market.
