Wanted to place an order on Ubereats, but they didn't have any macarons on there. I called the store to see if I could place the Ubereats order and also place an order on their website for the macarons. And have the macarons included in the Ubereats bag, but for some reason they are not able to just put the macarons in the bag. Decided to not place the Ubereats order all together.

Incredible food! Healthy options for those looking for alternatives to meat - drinks are delicious and absolutely worth the money to eat here try the chicken bites with BBQ sauce if you're into those. Big thank you to Chelsea for making some bomb garlic fries, best Ive ever had, and Mia for making my tiramisu latte SO GOOD! Love the people here, always friendly and great customer service

Took me two days to savor and enjoy my chocolate and custard Kouign Amann pastries. Besides the pastries I enjoyed their hot mocha latte with whipped cream. Cute little place with a friendly counterperson. Clean and organized.

Stopped in for something comforting and left very happy. The grilled cheese sandwich was simple but done right--perfectly toasted bread with gooey, melty cheese and that golden, crispy exterior that hits the spot every time Comfort food at its best. The real standout for me was the mochi kouign amann--crispy, buttery layers on the outside with that chewy mochi texture inside Sweet, indulgent, and totally unique. If you haven't tried one before, this alone is worth the visit. Bonus points for offering vegan options as well, which is always appreciated and makes this a great spot for mixed-diet groups Great quality, thoughtful menu, and clearly a place that cares about what they're putting out. I'll definitely be back to try more!

La Tour Cafe in Ward, which was formerly just their Planted cafe, offers a delicious array of cafe items, many of which are still plant-based! I visit somewhat often for their drinks, particularly the Mint Water (minty and slightly sweetened) and Paradise Tea (similar to a plantation iced tea). I've tried their plant-based macarons and kouign-amann as well, and both are delicious but slightly pricey. The price is reasonable though, considering they are made of vegan ingredients and are almost exact replicas of their non-vegan counterparts, so I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a plant-based treat! I stopped by for lunch for the first time, and I wish I had tried it sooner! I was so impressed by their Wagyu Pho-ggie, a unique and absolutely genius creation combining pho flavors into a sandwich. The beef was so tender and perfectly marinated, and the sauce was also very flavorful with a bit of spice. And of course, their bread is as soft and delicious as you'd expect from La Tour. Before you think this seems expensive at $21, note that each half of the sandwich is actually quite large--I shared the meal with someone else, and it was more than enough for both of us. We ordered online but ended up dining at one of the few tables in the cafe. I love that there's options for seating both indoors and outdoors, as the surrounding area is nice and clean! Can't wait to go back and try more lunch items!

This is now a regular La Tour Cafe since my review, and introduced a wider variety of options supported by La Tour's larger menu. If you're vegan or vegetarian, this will still be a great stop, and includes many options for you omnivore friends as well. Most importantly, the food is still delicious!

Staff friendly and helpful! Lots of free parking available close to the store. Indoor and outdoor seating available! My favorites are always the garlic fries that come out hot and tasty and the kouign amans! They have a variety of flavors like original, maple and apple! These are SO good but best if you take it home and toast it :) Oh and delicious drinks like teas, lemonade, and coffees! Must try!

This was my first time coming here! I always saw it in passing when walking around my coworking space so I decided to finally try it! There were so many things on the menu I was so curious about such as their planted burger, falafel banh mi, etc. BUT they also have specials so once I saw the specials, I had to re-think what I was going to get. I ended up getting the falafel banh mi! It was good BUT they had a watercress and tofu banh mi special and my friend and I split half and half so I liked that even better! Atmosphere - Well lit and the color scheme is nice and neutral. They have only like 2 or 3 tables inside so it can get full fast but they do have outdoor seating which is nice. We sat outside because it was a nice day and there was a nice breeze so it wasn't too hot. Also there's always dogs passing by so that was fun! Service - They are friendly and patient as my friends and I were so indecisive for a bit. They answered all our questions about the food as well. Cost - Ranges if you get a drink and/or food, $5 - $20. In addition to food, they have pastries (like the kouign-amann and canelé - they have different flavored canelé and they're so cute. They are really bite size so keep that in mind.) Parking - Street parking or park in the Whole Foods structure or the parking structure across from Whole Foods where the movie theatre is. Location - It's next to Whole Foods, on the same side as Holey Grail. I definitely want to come here again to try their other foods especially the planted burger and whatever specials they end up having.

I got a plant based smash burger and my friend got a plant-based chicken salad. Good food at reasonable prices. I like that they have something for everyone both vegan or not. Cute little café space to catch up with friends. I didn't get their fries today, but those also go really good with the burger. I like the sauce. Service is friendly and fast.

My friends picked up some burgers, fries, pastries, and drinks from here. It was my first time to try out the food here and it was amazing. The double burger was filling and didn't leave me feeling bloated at all. The fries were flavorful (I think it was the truffle fries). I had the lihing lemonade, which was refreshing. We also had the kougiman. I can't remember which one I ate, but I remember the flavor and it was delicious! I'm planning to go there soon for lunch and I can't wait!

I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, but what a great spot to try out that type of food!! The location is great with parking just a block over at Whole Foods and it's always a great time to walk in the Ward area. When you walk in, the staff is friendly and informative, and the inside boasts a clean and fresh feeling. The food adds to that as it tastes great but you don't feel like you're about to go into hibernation. A much appreciated option for a quick vegetarian fix.

The Turkey and Sun-dried Tomato Panini for $14.99 is not good!! The sun-dried tomato is a speck of a sauce ... I asked the cashier if they forgot the tomatoes ... He says , no, here is the sauce .... Uhhhh.. and made me feel like I did something wrong by asking the question... You know when they all start talking...and looking at you... Here's some pics...

Refreshing drink in Honolulu, Hawaii... We were between lunch and dinner and noticed that we hadn't gone to Planted by La Tour Cafe... yet... Located at Ward Village, we found free shared parking and walked over. It happened to be Happy Hour where customers get a free canele with ppurchase of a large drink! Yippee! I got a Li hing Lemonade and a chocolate candle. Yay! It was just right! Now that I know where this cozy takeout place, I will be back! Support a local plant-based restaurant!

Mint water, shockingly really good and flavorful!

Well there is enough parking in the back parking lot. But there's this security guard there. I asked if he's the parking attendant and he said I'm security. I asked where machetes is and he said that's in the front I only care about the back. So I guess that's his only job to watch the parking lot. And it's located across a homeless camp. So I can see why the need for parking security. Such a turn off! Upon entering machetes I was greeted. The worker asked if I was ready to order and I said just another minute as I wanted to look over the menu for what I wanted since it was my first time. The counter was covered in devices I guess a lot of people order from here. I ordered a turkey and salami sandwich. The worker then asked if I wanted it on the white or brown wheat bread. I chose wheat. While waiting I asked if they make their own bread and they do so I was impressed. The worker asked me, you say you didn't want tomatoes? Then I responded I want everything it supposed to come with. I thought I heard him say a second thing but wasn't sure and I was looking closer to the menu. I didn't realize you can add items to the sandwich for free. The worker then hands me the sandwich wrapped ready to go. I then said oh sorry can you add peppers, cucumbers and Italian vinaigrette. He did not look happy. I apologized saying sorry it was my first time. He said it was cool. Well proceed to pay. And he said have a nice day and I said thanks and left. Sandwich tasted amazing! Big portion! The wheat bread was so soft and light. Refreshing from all the vegetables. And moist from the vinaigrette. Although peppers were missing. Total for just the and sandwich was $13.40. Not a bad sandwich. Just a weird location and weird vibe. Don't forget that there are free addons and a list of them in a tiny section on the bottom of menu. They won't remind you it's there or offer it lol. I'd come back.

There aren't much frills so you can have water or soda from their mini fridge. Almost like going to a corner pizza place in the city. Sandwiches available sometimes. We go early for lunch on Sundays and grab a seat outside. The proprietor was especially kind and friendly to my FIL and I appreciated that. Overall this is the second best NY style pizza place after black shamrock by a small margin - the Jersey pie at shamrock with its awesome sauce and perfect crust is hard to beat but don't think you can order it by the slice. So very very close.

As mentioned by other reviewers, if you're looking for an inexpensive, decent sandwich on Waikiki…read morebeach, look no further. Conveniently located near Duke's, there's one outdoor table nearby, but really, just pick up a sandwich and take it to the beach! Staff was very friendly. Plenty of options for sandwiches and salads (and maybe more options, just what I noticed). I got the tuna sandwich and added a slice of pepper jack. I said no mayo or mustard, though I'd probably recommend mayo. There are so many veggies that it needs a little sauce. The veggies make you feel like you're eating something super healthy! There wasn't a ton of tuna in the sandwich, but half was filling enough for me. I'll save the rest for tomorrow.

I'm going to start by saying you won't find a sandwich shop in Waikiki like Pai's Deli. Their…read moresandwiches are packed with fresh ingredients and tons of flavor. Skipping this place would be a crime. And prices are very reasonable for what you get. It's a hidden gem, tucked inside the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort just to the right of Duke's. I've been here many times and have ordered both smoothies and sandwiches. Let me tell you, the bread is incredibly soft, the greens are crisp and fresh, and the protein is ALWAYS tasty. The team works hard to craft your sandwich every time, and I always get a warm "thank you" when I pick mine up (I swear I got into a thank-you battle once, and of course, they won). I highly recommend the tuna sandwich. It's seasoned perfectly and generously filled with tuna. The greens are always piled high. Shredded carrots, spinach leaves, and more sprouts than you'd think possible. It's healthy and DELICIOUS. I usually add avocado, and the sandwich with avocado comes out to $13.75, which is a great deal for Waikiki. Oh! and you get a little skewer of two pineapple slices! It's cute, refreshing, and perfectly ripe every time. The last smoothie I ordered was the Avocado Green Island. It's made with mango, avocado, spinach, banana, greek yogurt, and coconut milk. It's creamy, slightly tangy, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. I've also tried their chicken salad sandwich (money!) and my favorite, the Captain Salad. I recommend getting it with Caesar dressing. The brand of ranch they use isn't really my thing. They also have a homemade balsamic vinagarette that sounds amazing. The salad is huge, topped with turkey and generous crumbles of bacon. I'm telling you, they're serving hit after hit after hit at this spot. Go and enjoy ASAP!
