    Butter chicken and Goat curry
    Priscirra R.

I believe this is the last indian buffet in Jackson Heights so i had to try it. It's a nice dining room, different from the more casual places in the area, the buffet set up looked nice. unfortunately the food was bland. I should have known it would be, because when I walked in all the customers were white and I did not see any indian/south asian people other than the employees. The food was under seasoned, butter chicken was bland, palak paneer not seasoned, the vegetables in the veg biryani was clearly canned/not good quality, daal was way too runny, naan was nothing to write home about. They had some chicken not in a curry and it was labeled "chicken tikka, but i think it was meant to be chicken tandoori, but it was very bland so i had to drown it in the green chutney, Samosas just ok. I was also disappointed they didn't have Chana masala at the buffet. The goat curry was soooo good, though. I'm glad i tried this place, just to quiet my curiosity as I walk by often and see the sign for the buffet. I don't think I'd go back, unless I was really in the mood for some delicious goat curry.

Good service, there's a buffet and order to take out, and the food that I ordered wasn't that bad, I mean it was flavored and tasted delicious!

Came in for dinner tonight and the chicken curry I got was delicious. Homemade style curry, definitely on the spicy side but so so worth it. The guys working on the counter were very nice and friendly. The veg samosa I got was really good as well.

I got the Steamed Momo (chicken). You get a number of them for an affordable price but they don't taste great and there isn't much filling.

Ordered a variety of things from Delhi Heights, but the taste wasn't very good on any of the items save the mango lassi-which is like how would you mess that up, you know? I gave them 2 stars because the portion for certain items is large. The mango lassi was small for the price compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. Wouldn't recommend coming here for Indian food when there are other places you could go in the area that taste better.

Walked off of the train in this neighborhood and directly across the street I saw several indian restaurants! After my a while without it, I wandered around and saw a buffet (weekends only) for 13$ and had to try it. A bit expensive for the selection they had, but I've never tried Indian in NYC so I dove right in. Samosas were huge, and they only had 4 sauces on the buffet. They had an egg fried rice which was alright, and the mixed veggies were lightly spiced and perfectly soft and cooked up with flavors. My favorite of the day was the methi chicken-- wow! Boneless, curriful and awesome on the rice, with the naan, and by itself! Tender and amazing. The goat was a great flavor too, but barely any meat on the pieces, so mostly bones. It came with naan which was nice! But obviously not fresh, but at least it was warm. Dessert option was gulab j's, which were tasty as always, like little honey soaked pancake balls. For the price, would expect more side options, but overall, okay for a quick lunch to try a few things. For regular menu, Id get the methi chicken 100%! Also really liked the cups and mini bowls for dessert

Stopped by this place in the bustling section of Jackson Heights since I could smell lots of great indian food from afar the minute I got off the 7 train. Currently they are doing outdoor seating which is good. Was not too busy but did have a chance to sit here at a single table to grab some saturday meal. Chicken Tikka masala is a bit different here as it does not have that tangy/buttery masala taste I've come to known for a long time. I def had to ask for some salt and chili peppers to make up the flavor but overall 7/10 which is still good. Would I come back? Yeah. Its ok, but will def get the sizzling grill the ladies behind me had --which smelled great!

Very good food, full of flavor. From the crowd you can tell this is one of the more special Indian restaurants in the neighborhood. Really good food and really good service in a lively laid back atmosphere. Great selection of nepali, indian and tibetan food, and great live music! I came here on a recommendation from Jando S. (queens yelp manager) and I'm glad i did. Generous portions. A tad on the slow side, but food was great. I really enjoyed this Indian restaurant. They offer a buffet during lunch hours for $14.95, which You cant go wrong. I ordered the chicken tiki masala which was good and my home girl ordered the chicken korma which was just OK, it needed a little more flavor. The naan bread was the best part for me. Nice and flaky and soft. Overall pretty good place for Indian food, the price is decent. Not overpriced at all. Really a nice place to eat Indian food. Friendly staff. 10% of your bill with yelp check in. Warning: They do not accept American Express.

I ordered Kashmiri Rogan Josh (lamb) and it was soooo good. The flavors were authentic, the portions were large and they kept the rice and the meat and sauce separate during delivery which I really appreciated so my food wasn't soggy. This had to be the best Indian food I've ever had and I can't wait to order it again the next time I'm in town

The 31. Pudina Paneer Tikka- No good!
    Naiya P.

We ordered a lot of appetizers and everything was so bad!!!!!! The samosa chaat, papdi chaat had weird smell and it tasted weird. I mean how can one ruin chaats! That's the easiest thing to make. The pudina paneer tikka was so green that it looked weird to eat and tasted bad! The crispy vegetables were a bit okay..not so bad. Main course we had paneer makhani and Malai Kofta, both were very okay! Daal tadka was the best among all but still not so great, just put salt and paper in to make it tasty cause it was very bland in spite of asking everything to be made spicy! They directly take 18% gratuity which is the case most places, but neither the ambiance nor the food deserves that. I AM NEVER COMING AGAIN.

Great place to dine in at Jackson Heights with great table service and food! I've been here several times with my boyfriend and we always enjoy the food. The chicken 65 appetizer is a yummy spicy chicken dish that is packed with flavor. The chicken jalfrezi is also very yummy with bell peppers and onions. The entrees come with rice and they also give papad with sauces complimentary while you wait for the food. There is also a small bar in the back that serves beer and wine. Overall, I will continue coming here as long as the food is amazing & fresh.

The space itself is pretty big with plenty of seating. There aren't many outlets though, so I'd recommend charging your laptop beforehand if you're planning to get some work done. The drinks also took a little while to come out, so service tends to be on the slower side. If you have some time & in the area, I definitely recommend checking this place out!

Yessss! Momos of every flavor, cooking style and filling…read morehere, yum! Met up with friends here for dinner on a freezing winter weekend evening. The store was on the emptier side probably given the weather outside, with only about a third of their 30 or so seats taken. Seating is first come first serve, no formal waiter service, you order at the counter and they bring the food when it's ready. Staff were helpful in explaining what each item was, the protein options (a choice of chicken or beef for each), and level of spiciness (not too spicy though the accompanying sauces had a kick). We ordered-- - Kothey momo $9.99: selected the beef filling, this was a lightly pan-fried dumpling with a thin dough wrapper and savory minced beef filling. Served with a medium spicy dipping sauce. Good! - Thai soup momo $12.99: came in a curry broth with vegetables, my friend ordered the chicken momos and they came piping hot in the soup. Tasty and warm comfort food for a very cold evening. - Chili momo $11.99: deep fried and served with a tangy sweet and sour chili sauce, peppers and onions, my friend ordered the beef version. The spice level on the chili sauce was pretty mild. Yummy. - Samosa chaat momo $11.99: sprinkled with diced tomato, onion, cilantro doused with green chutney and sitting in a shallow bed of yogurt sauce, these deep fried momo were so flavorful. - Tandoori momo $11.99: I'm not sure if these were baked in a tandoori oven but they were sure seasoned with spices to taste like it , and delicious! Tender and juicy chicken filling. - Sandeko momo $11.99: another deep fried momo (this time I asked for beef) topped with a chunky sauce of soybeans, tomato and onion, filled with minced meat. This was another tasty plate! All the momos we ordered came with 8 pieces, while some of the basic flavors come with a couple more pieces. A single plate is a moderate amount of food for a meal though we ended up ordering six different types to share and try. Each stood out in a different way and I'd heartily recommend all. If there was just one critique it was since it was so cold that night (in the teens Fahrenheit) and no outside wind door that whenever a new customer or delivery pickup driver came in, a rush of freezing cold air also came in. It was quite chilly inside the restaurant for that reason and I had to eat with my jacket on. However that didn't detract from the tasty momos, and I'll certainly be back!

I've walked past this place a few times and was intrigued so I decided to give it a try…read more It has a beautiful, well decorated interior and was kept warm and cozy on a snowy day. They provide complimentary popcorn, which is well seasoned and rich with ghee. I was seated in a chair that was very low to the ground. While outfitted with comfy cushions, I was not sure what the proper was to sit on this chair was and I was too embarrassed to ask. My best guess is that it's meant to be a criss cross applesauce type situation, but I had on wet snow boots and didn't particularly want to do that. This isn't a complaint, but just something to consider for anyone with mobility concerns who might be considering visiting. There are some normal style chairs in the front of the restaurant that I'm sure I would have been switched to had I requested as such. Anyway, onto the food. I ordered the "Lahana Ko Faarzi Bhoj" which arrived on a large round platter with a variety of different dishes. I am very new to this type of food, and most of it was completely unfamiliar to me, which was very exciting. The grain at the center of this platter is "chiura," a rice product which has been pounded flat and dried. It has a light and crunchy texture, and pairs well with the thinner, wet curries it was served with as it really soaks up the liquid and expands in size. I've never had this before and it was very interesting to try. The platter comes with two bowls of warm curry, one with black eyed peas and maybe some potato and the other was darker with meat which I preferred. Both were rich and deep in flavor, but the darker one (pictured on the right) was so savory and well balanced- definitely my favorite part of the meal. They both have some heat to them, the kind that builds at the back of the palette throughout the meal, but none of this food was excessively spicy. The main plate has a ring of various cold dishes around the edge, all of which were unfamiliar to me so I can't necessarily identify them. My favorites were the pieces of well seasoned dark meat chicken and the deep fried egg in the center, but it also included some pickled elements, some ground meat and a small skewer, which I found to be quite tough. I really enjoyed trying new, interesting food in such a beautiful space. The servers were kind and there are many other items on the menu that I'm interested to try. I feel lucky to have this place nearby.

I appreciated the creativity and the cuisine-specificity of the cocktails, and the bartenders are super friendly. The food is there as a nice accompaniment to the drinks, but if you're looking for a Himalayan meal experience and no drinks, I'd probably point you elsewhere in the Jackson Heights neighborhood up Broadway.
