If you're in Naples and haven't been to Del Mar, are you even living? From the moment we walked in with our 12-year-old, it was like they knew. The perfect table, the perfect service--this place is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. They made us feel so welcome, and trust me, making kids feel welcome at a nice spot is an art form. Bonus points for the big bar and lively atmosphere that made us feel like grown-ups again. Now the food? Let me tell you, it's a spiritual experience. Huge kudos to Jill, our server, who absolutely crushed it. She walked us through the menu like a culinary tour guide and nailed every recommendation: the snapper, sea bass, tuna tartare, and lamb meatballs. Every bite felt like a mic drop. Jill deserves a standing ovation--or at least a raise! Del Mar, you get it. You really get it. We'll be back, probably sooner than our wallets would like! read more

Food and vibe were exceptional. Big thanks to Alexa for making room for us. She went out of her way to get us a reservation which you typically don't see with guest reception. Lorena was outstanding serving us. She knew everything about the menu and helped my wife with food allergies. 10/10 and best experience with 2 outstanding employees read more

I ordered the expensive Lobster spaghetti expecting something quite delicious. As you can see in the photo, it was very disappointing! The spaghetti seemed like it was cut into teeny tiny pieces, as if for a child. The "spicy " sauce was anything but that, it was a mid ragu. Not good at all. My mom ordered the Sea Bass which came with sliced tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and a tomato broth! Not even a vegetable or a starch! The only good thing was the server and the delicious wine. At least we had a good laugh at my children's spaghetti read more

Del Mar Naples - Lobster pasta and a good old fashioned. - Seafood Near Me - Naples, Florida

This is my new favorite restaurant in Naples. Came for Sunday brunch and fell in love. First, the place is gorgeous and you feel like you're dining someplace like the shore of Lake Como (minus the lake). I would love the interior designer to come over and decorate my house. More importantly, the food is delicious, unique and healthy. We had 4 dishes: 1) the golden beet salad, while not our favorite, was decent and the small addition of pistatios brought out the flavors, 2) the octopus was the best I've ever had, super tender with a nice charred taste, 3) the yellow fin sashimi was quality with a great sauce, and 4) my favorite the hummus with lamb was over the top with creamy homemade hummus and the most tender lamb. Can't wait to come back!! read more

Started with combo of dips: tzatziki, spicy feta and babaganoush with warm pita. All three were delicious. Entrees we're the scallops and filet mignon. Again both were excellent and expertly cooked. Olive cake finished the meal. Like a moist pound cake. Not overly sweet but couldn't stop eating it read more

A Great time was had by my wife and I. Attention to detail by the server, Elle, was beyond expectations. Her love of the industry was apparent in her knowledge of ingredients and preparation. Hats off to Chef Rose as well. My wife enjoyed the veal chop with mushroom sauce...loved it. I had the Sea Bass, which was possibly the best I'd had. The dollop of fennel seasoned labneh and sauce with cherry tomatoes lit up the flavors. GF chocolate torte was awesome as well. Thanks for a great evening! read more

Such a cute brunch spot right on 5th Avenue! I came on a Saturday and was greeted with champagne--thank you Ana Maria for the warm welcome and amazing service. The hummus appetizer is a must, and the lobster pasta was so delicious. Also, don't skip the espresso martini--so good! Loved the vibe and the food. I will definitely be coming back. read more

If you are on 5th Avenue in Naples, Florida, this Mediterranean restaurant is a must do dining experience. There is seating both inside and outdoors on a gorgeous patio. Indoor and outdoor dining, incredible seafood and really nice service. Start with some of the the dips & spread starters (don't skip the spicy feta!) and the grilled shellfish platter. Branzino was good, they also offer filets but the Lobster Spaghetti was chefs kiss. We had been disappointed with a few restaurants on 5th in the past but Del Mar was excellent. read more

The food is amazing, the filet is to die for, wonderful seasoning; cooked to perfection! Service seemed a bit amiss but we had a very large work group of about 30 people so they did a fairly decent job keeping up. read more

I'm not really sure how Delmar does as well as it does. I want to start off with the grouper specifically. I have been so disappointed in my grouper experience here that I did due diligence and found that This establishment has been notoriously called out by media and news outlets for selling a very cheap white catch fish found in a very small triangle of the Bahamas , as expensive grouper. I have had to dine here several times for business and I have been sourly disappointed each and every time. This taste more like a franchise menu even though the atmosphere and pricing try to decieve you of this. I believe they are franchised with blue , and I have not had any experience as of yet that would reflect the pricing , or the wait times. read more

This place was sooo vibey. I would just get drinks and apps here! We also were on the balcony which was lovely. The dips were so good and everyone enjoyed their meal. Seabass- For the price of the fish I expected it to be a bit better, it was good but not to die for. It was a little dry. Other than that loved the dish and everything else! Next time I would maybe use this as a pre dinner place for drinks and apps! read more

This spot is amazing. One of my faves in 5th and minutes away from me. Our waiter was the funniest and the cutest lol. The food was top notch, I highly recommend the loaded hummus, like seriously! The octopus needed a little more salt but I'm not complaining. Such a great spot for either morning or night time. It can be a bit loud but it's alright, the place, the location, the food makes us for all of it. read more

I came to Del Mar Naples for a dinner with four other people and we had the most amazing experience! We got sat in Gioacchino's section and from the beginning we were pleased. He's an exceptional waiter - He greeted our table right away, poured us water, took our drink orders, was knowledgeable about the menu, and seemed to genuinely love his job. He even cracked some jokes which we all got a kick out of. Everything was timed perfectly. Everyone was extremely happy with the apps and their entrees. I ordered the lobster spaghetti for my entree and it was the perfect portion and had a ton of tender lobster meat. Drinks were great as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also stunning. Honestly, one of my favorite restaurants I've ever been to and I can't wait to come back again! read more

I wish I could give five stars but it was such a disappointment having a not so friendly waiter, this was my second time dining at Del Mar, the first time my fiancé and I decided to celebrate our engagement dinner here and it was lovely so we decided to bring family from out of town to enjoy the great food and ambience that caught our eye the first time. Once again the food was absolutely delicious but we all noticed the waiter's dismissive attitude whenever we needed anything. It was definitely a bummer I wasn't going to write a review at all but the following day we had dinner at Swan River Seafood and it was 10/10 from the moment we walked in until the moment we left . The dining and hospitality was warm and welcoming, so much that we would go back and have to request the same waiter. I understand that we are all human with bad days but working in an upscale restaurant, I would expect a little more from a waiter than a snooty attitude. We will definitely be back because this is an amazing location. And truly one of our favorite spots to visit when we drive up to Naples. So we will be back again hopefully to have a better experience. read more

The entire experience from start to finish was amazing! Our waiter was fabulous and attentive.

We were fortunate enough to find 2 newly vacated seats at the bar around 5:30 on a Saturday night. The bar was full our entire stay. SERVICE: Excellent. Taylor and George were the 2 bartenders who mainly took care of us, however, there were many others refilling water, etc. Everyone is friendly and even with the bar hopping, Taylor and George could see when we had a request, made eye contact and attended to us as soon as they were done with the customer they were with. Very classy. BAR: House chard is Lincourt, $12, average pour. Good wine selection. cocktails are pricey and served in small Coupe glass with measured pours. We noticed too late that we were charged for someone else's drink, $15 for a mule. Mistakes happen, our bad for not paying attention when we got the bill. ATMOSPHERE: Classy, fun, a little loud but expected when sitting at the bar. I did not check out the upstairs, but the place seems to accommodate a lot of tables. Although the bar was full, the booth tables behind us were empty for most of our stay. FOOD: The mushroom flatbread is amazing. Beautifully presented, plenty of mushrooms, sweet caramelized onions and the right amount of cheese. The oysters were fresh. The olive mashed potatoes were also delicious. The lamb shank was a bit dry. We requested olive oil, salt and pepper and once that was added it was quite good. They do have a place on their website to make reservations. This place always seems busy so probably a good idea. read more

One of the nicer, fancier restaurants on Fifth Avenue in Naples, they have a small cute terrace on the second floor. Food is very good. I had to have the famous lobster pasta. It was very good, lobster was great, but the sauce in the pasta could have been better (maybe less bitter and more sweet) and I think the pasta itself needed a bit of salt or something, seemed a bit bland. Bakhlava dessert was delicious. Great wine. Beautiful restaurant inside and out, great decor. Fantastic service. Would recommend if you are celebrating a special occasion. read more

Ended up here after our initial reservation didn't work out. And what a great experience. They fit us in 30min before the kitchen closed so the manager came over to help expedite and offer some food and drink suggestions. Ended up with the tequila leviathan and a dry white that the bar recommended. I always get snapper when I see it on the menu so of course we got the snapper ceviche and the entree as well. We also got the sea bass which was delicious. Fantastic atmosphere and decor. Great date night spot or just a place to grab delicious food and cold cocktails. Highly recommend! read more

Really enjoyed it, great vibe in the middle of a happening 5th Ave. We had a party of 7 and were put in this private stone walled room that had a feel of your own personal experience yet still catching the energy from the packed bar and dining room. I ordered the beet salad for an app, and never thought i would be reco-ing beet salads ever, but get the beet salad. For my main I went Veal Chop and it was excellent. Service was great, waiter was fun and even after my daughter broke a plate (she's 14 not 4 mind you) he had jokes! It was great, will be back read more

First time dining at Del Mar with my husband - the night started off strong, with good vibes and ambiance. We are entering off season so it wasn't as busy downtown as usual which was nice. My husband ordered the 5th Ave Margarita on the rocks and I ordered the Beach Party cocktail. The first Margarita tasted watered down and the second was missing ingredients as it had no sweet element or peach flavor like the first. The Beach Party (a pineapple variation of an Aperol Spritz) was unbalanced and I had to send it back to be adjusted. Next up - apps: we started with 3 spreads (hummus, spicy feta and tabbouleh) and the tuna crudo. The tuna was good, as was the feta/hummus - tabbouleh doesn't belong in the mix on this menu as you don't eat tabbouleh easily with pita - it needs to be eaten with a fork. The pita was also the driest hardest pita I have ever tasted - seemed straight from Sysco. Now for the mains: my husband got the ribeye which was cooked very well and was quite delicious. The sides however were totally lame...one piece of charred zucchini and the charred outer layer of an onion which is inedible. I ordered the swordfish but with the sea bass preparation (in a tomato broth with labneh) - the swordfish was cooked perfectly and the labneh was fabulous. The tomato broth however was instead like a flavorless tomato water, which was so disappointing. A well-executed tomato broth with fish is just fabulous so this was a huge miss for me. I ended up asking for some of the original sauce that came on the swordfish which was seemed like it had more cumin than harissa. Side of broccoli rabbe was dreadfully dry and flavorless...disappointing. Took the olive oil cake home which was good. The cherry on top was the beach bums that were hovering at the bar and crowing our table for 80% of our meal. Pass! This restaurant is charging NYC prices and serving the most mediocre food. Would not recommend! read more

Just a wonderful dining experience in Downtown Naples. Per friend suggestion we arrived an hour early for our 6PM reservation to hang at the bar and take in the vibe. The popular cocktail here is the Hibiscus Mule. A refreshing summers drink that relaxes. A perfect complement to the positive atmosphere here. The bartenders are friendly, professional and truly look like they are enjoying themselves. Ready for our dinner we headed to the upstairs dining room. A beautifully large modern ambience area with attention to details. From the chairs & tables to the large bar area - comfort rules here - AC / Temperature - perfect. The menu is large and inviting. We decided to try multiple starter selections - all turned out to be true winners. The yellowfin tuna tartare with calabrian chili had a touch kick while the red snapper ceviche was more subtle. Both enjoyed and portioned healthy. The roasted cauliflower with sweet onion tahini and chili relish brought similes. The "Serrano Jamon" was the best of the best. Crostini topped lean serrano ham with a calabrian chili (yes - again) spread, manchego cheese and virgin olive oil. Excellent results. Our waiter continued the polite and professionalism we experienced at the downstairs bar. It all worked... read more

Fun atmosphere. Good food. Always consistent. Have been several times. A good spot on 5th to people watch.

Both my son and I had the lamb chops. They were 70% fat. I had them a long time ago, they came in a Clay pot and I remember them being much better. The sauce was super sweet, I would not order them again. The manager was kind enough to take one of them off the bill so that was nice at least. I think they vibe is better then the food there! read more
