I have been a Deep Sentinel customer for over a year, spending more than $250/month for live monitoring service, in addition to spending several thousands of dollars on cameras and professional installation of the system. Despite this considerable financial commitment, my recent experience has been profoundly disappointing and troubling. My home was subjected to a brazen and expertly executed burglary while the Deep Sentinel system was fully armed and operational. The intrusion involved two conspicuously professional individuals, dressed in black tactical attire, forcibly breaking through the sliding glass doors in my backyard using specialized tools. Remarkably, despite four high-definition cameras providing 24/7 live surveillance, the monitoring agents failed to detect, respond to, or interrupt this criminal act in any capacity. Deep Sentinel has a delay of approx 30 seconds or more before any agent accesses the live feed, which was ample time for the intruders to gain entry, pilfer and steal my valuables, and exit undetected. Moreover, these agents overlooked not only the forced entry but also the burglars carrying large bags away through the front door. This glaring lapse in vigilance and response rendered the entire security system ineffective at the moment it was most needed. Upon presenting Deep Sentinel with the video evidence, the company acknowledged their failure but declined to offer a refund or substantial compensation, offering only 90 days of free monitoring, a meager gesture considering the loss exceeded six figures. Furthermore, the post-sale customer service experience has been frustrating and lacking, with support calls routed overseas or not answered at all. I have had to leave numerous messages with customer service and often do not receive a returned call. You won't be able to speak with anyone about urgent issues, such as a burglary, until regular business hours, assuming you can even get through during those times. In summary, Deep Sentinel's monitoring promises fall drastically short in practical application. The system's vulnerability, coupled with ineffective customer service, leaves clients exposed and unsupported during critical incidents. The splashy promotional videos on Deep Sentinel's website are certainly persuasive and evoke a promise of seamless, proactive protection. However, based on my personal experience and as clearly demonstrated by the surveillance footage below, the reality is alarmingly different. I ultimately feel misled, having paid a premium both in substantial financial investment and irreplaceable losses of jewelry and family heirlooms, for nothing more than an illusion of security. read more

LIVE AGENTS ON DUTY 24/7 About a month before I purchased my Deep Sentinel system my next-door neighbor's house was burglarized. I had the typical security system in my home that if an alarm was tripped it sounds an alarm in the house (not any help at all) and I would get a call from from a call center. There was no way to verify what was going on in the house so my only choice was to call the police or rush home (not always possible) to see what's happening. These antiquated systems have outlived their usefulness in today's world of technology. Like many of us, I have seen numerous video systems that can alert you on your phone with a video of an unwanted intruder. But what if I miss the alert or my battery is dead or I'm 200 miles away driving down the road? These systems didn't seem practical, but what is practical is the Deep Sentinel system that has live people that monitor the video feeds as they happen! They have the ability to speak directly to the intruder to asses the threat and can immediately contact police. When I learned about the live agent video monitoring I knew this was the kind of security system that would protect my house and family. I have the 4 camera system and it was easy to install. It takes only 1 screw to fasten the camera mount and the camera connects easily to the mount. Connecting the Hub to my router was a breeze. Connecting the cameras to the Hub was simple as well. I had my system up and running in less than hour. Also their customer service is second to none. I did a lot of research before buying the system and had a number of questions. Ally, a customer service supervisor was always very responsive getting me answers quickly. All around Deep Sentinel is the best choice for home security. read more

This is a long-overdue review. We have a high risk business with valuable merchandise in an area of town with a lot of displaced people. I read about Deep Sentinel over a year ago after our two security systems were too slow at calling me or law enforcement (you have just minutes to catch intruders.) After several targeted break-ins, and losing tens of thousands of dollars in merchandise, I was intrigued to imagine I could afford the live guard monitoring Deep Sentinel professed to offer. At the time, they were only offering residential service but somehow, they agreed to protect my business (they now serve businesses as well.) I cannot express my gratitude enough for the many many times they have PREVENTED break ins at my business. It's 3:37am and someone in a hoodie and blanket approaches the building. They walk around a bit. The moment they get close enough to touch my building, a live guard says (through the speaker on the nearest camera,) "This is Deep Sentinel security. You are on private property, please leave." Sometimes the person talks to the speaker and the guard can talk back. If the person dallies, they broadcast a Really Loud Blare that is pretty scary. The person leaves because they know they are being watched. Then, the guard makes a clip of the event that I can watch they next morning (they send me an email that the guard "Intervened".) I am stingy with my testimonials but I wish I could invest in this company. Trust me, every other company I have bought security cameras from (about 5 at this point, at great expense) can't possibly compete with Deep Sentinel. Their customer support is superb as well. I'm not a frequent review writer, but Deep Sentinel has more than earned this one. I got the system hoping I'd never really need it -- you know, just in case. But a few weeks ago, I had a situation that made me realize how valuable it actually is. Around 2AM, some sketchy dude walked slowly up my driveway and started checking my car doors and peering in all my car windows. Within seconds, Deep Sentinel's guard jumped on the speaker and shouted at the guy to leave. And he did. Fast. The best part.... he tripped off the curb and fell hard. I got a call from the guard that intervened to let me know what happened. He had already called the police who arrived within 5-6 minutes and were driving around the neighborhood looking for that creep-- the AI flagged it, the guard responded, called the cops, then called me and just like that, it was over before it became a thing. That moment sold me. This isn't just cameras -- it's people watching out for you in real time. It's a system that actually intervenes. I sleep better knowing this system is watching when I'm not. 10/10 recommend. read more

Awesome company to deal with! When I had issues with the hub and broke a camera (totally my fault) they sent me replacements out the next day free of charge! All they asked is that I send them back the old hardware free of charge to me! The Red Ring is the most intimidating feature and no one else has it! See the videos below. I live in a college community that is very safe yet kids will be kids and so far it is the only thing that has worked to deter them! So on average, it takes at least 8 minutes for the police to arrive after a home security alarm is tripped if it is not ignored. One can either buy into the false sense of security or have real live security guards watching over your property 24/7 that will intervene over a loudspeaker! They will also call you & the police! For the people concerned about price let me ask you how much is your time worth? For the cost of a dinner for 2 at a decent restaurant with Deep Sentinel you never have to deal with false alarms, waking up in the middle of the night, or taking shifts with your spouse! ‍ read more

This is an update to my previous review. One Pro and one big con. BTW, I'd give them 2.5 stars if allowed. Pro: - Their customer service has gotten much better. I've had a couple of cameras just die and no questions asked, they replaced them quickly. This is a big plus and it shows they have really improved in this regard. They will also follow up with you and take calls outside their support hours which shows dedications to the client. Con: - This is a big one. Their networking is atrocious at best and could be a show stopper at worst. I'm a network guy with 1 GB into the house (50 MB up), running Wifi 6 with a mesh network. Their camera just drop from the network without warning and with no changes on the network or my part. I even went so far as to purchase dedicated mesh nodes and place them next to their cameras and I still have the problem. In a time where everything networks, there's no excuse for their network issues especially when life or death or loss of property is at stake. PLEASE GET IT FIXED! read more

I was with the Deep Sentinel from the start. At that point it was very good and they were very helpful. unfortunately as time went by i started having lots of problems with my system constantly going offline, and my cameras not working for long periods of time. The company also went offshore with their call center, so when you have a problem which is all the time, you end up speaking with someone that speaks broken English. I got a call from the company the other day, and they said my monthly bill is going up 3 times to $250. I also got my brother and Dad and neighbor to sign up and they are having problems as well. who ever is running this company is out to lunch! I feel like I get NO security from them and all they care about is MORE MONEY. I pay by the year, and when my time runs out I am cancelling my service and will tell my brother and Dad as well as my neighbor to do the same. this company has turned into a complete JOKE! We have a 2 camera system setup in my front and back doors. The setup was a breeze (30-40 mins) considering its in a very small apartment. Ten mins per camera installation, less than 10 mins to update the firmware for both cameras. After that we were up and running. Our batteries last close to 2-3 months depending on the cameras action. Over the past 4 months of having the system we have been extremely satisfied and we definitely feel safe knowing their qualified guards are watching and preventing 24/7/365. Their customer care is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful when it comes to solving and fixing issues. If you're on the market for a security camera system for any size home this is the system to go with mainly because of the live guards. Who has the time to waste watching the alerts on a app? We've had the system for over a month now and the service is amazing! On one occasion, we were bringing a package out of our house to our car. The guards picked up the activity as suspicious and immediately asked for identification. Later on, when we had billing issues (not due to Deep Sentinel), we called their Customer Care line and got an answer/solution within minutes. Upon delivery of a package, we get notified and know to pickup the package from our door. On other suspicious situations, just the spinning red light from the camera was able to scare them away and never come back again. Hands down the most effective security system on the market. Rather than simply record crimes, they actually prevent the crimes from occurring in the first place. I have the system at both my home and business, and I could not be more satisfied. We have a lot of issues with loitering and trespassing (especially at our commercial property), but the Deep Sentinel guards ALWAYS get the job done and remove the trespassers within a matter of seconds. The guards are incredibly respectful to my family and I, and their customer service is TOP NOTCH! Keep doing what you guys are doing... I'm so grateful I found this company because they have changed my life for the better. We've had Deep Sentinel at our business for a while, and it's been feeling more solid lately. A store a few doors down had a break-in not long ago, and it was a good reminder of why we signed up in the first place. We've had a handful of situations where someone was hanging around after hours, and the guards stepped in before anything turned into a real issue. Sometimes they check in if an employee is working late, which can feel a little over-cautious, but honestly, I'd rather that than them miss something. I used to have ADT and was looking for something new a few months back because my contract was coming to an end. Did my research and decided I would try it out. Within the first week while my family was asleep, a man started going through our trash can by our garage. The Deep Sentinel guards spoke out to him and told him to leave. The funny part was that I didn't realize what happened until I viewed the app a few days later. Every since then they have gone above and beyond to protect my home. We used to rely on Ring as our security system until we realized that we weren't being notified immediately. We've been using Deep Sentinel for almost a year and LOVE it! The app notifies us when packages are delivered and when the guard comes on live it scares us so I would imagine it would deter anyone that isn't supposed to be here. Also, for those worried about the fact that the system is on wifi here's a tip: We have our internet modem and router along with the DS HUB plugged into a Battery backup so that when the power goes down the wifi still works as long as internet is still up! read more
