Double Check Your Extended Warranty- they sell 3rd party I've had positive experience with their service department. You need to pay attention to coupons and promotions to save- but typically the writers have helped out if you ask. Recently, I had an issue where the Extended Warranty would come in to play (purchased 84 mos 75K at time of buying new Fit). I asked the service writer to check if the repair was under extended warranty. They asked me if my warranty was 'American Honda'--- which seemed odd to me since I repeatedly told them I purchased the bumper to bumper policy when I bought the car in 2015. The writer checked the VIN in the system and said he didn't see an extended warranty but would check with the office. He comes back to tell me that I did have an extended warranty thru a third party. I went home and checked my paperwork-- sure enough-- the extended warranty was typed on a 'DCH' letterhead WITHOUT the Paramus Honda header. They have a separate LLC which you purchase the 3rd party warranty from and in the small print on the bottom left it points out a service provider that I never heard of. I called the business office at DCH and explained the situation to a manager- he politely chuckled when I said this caught me by total surprise that my Extended warranty was not from Honda (actually Honda Cares). I told him that I had no recollection of it being 3rd party-- in all my years of buying extended warranties for NEW cars from new car dealerships-- everything has always been OEM. He mentioned that maybe I was in a rush and they didn't have an opportunity to mention that. This creates issues if you go to a different Honda dealership thinking you have a Honda extended warranty. They won't see it associated with your VIN. You'll be forced to call the 3rd party--- and go thru an intermediary. I called Honda and posted a complaint- we'll see how they respond. Just be very careful. This is why dealerships elevate blood pressure. read more

I had to bring my car in twice since I had it in my possession for a month now to get simple thing fixed THAT should have been looked at before selling it to the customers. My temporary license is expiring tomorrow and they still FAILED to have my new plate. Working in a selling type industry, you would think communication should be top-notch and up to par but this place falls short of that experience. We purchased a Honda CRV today. We almost walked out because the original sales guy, Jesus, was cocky and condescending. I asked him about various CRV models, which is a fairly basic question. He then repeated that his dealership is the "largest on the East Coast" three times without answering the original question. When I asked for clarification, he accused me twice of being a "confused customer" and we were about to storm out of that place. They then brought a guy named Omar, who purported to be the "manager." We wasn't particularly knowledgeable or hostile. They finally set us up with Eli, another sales rep was very friendly and knowledgeable. Eli was the one that closed the deal for us, as he was very helpful. However, we were very close to take our business elsewhere. Additionally, it's worth pointing out that the finance people messed up calculating the sales tax and overcharged us by $54. They said it was a "mistake" but I'm not convinced. They said they'll send us a refund check, again which is inexcusable for a large dealership. We also waited over an hour for the car to be ready and finalized. I noticed that there are many employees just standing around not doing anything. Overall, Eli did a great job, but the other employees were either hostile, unhelpful, or incompetent. I wouldn't recommend this place, unless you get Eli to assist you. read more

I was a salesman working here on the internet team under Jason Cohen. I can tell you how to get a fair deal here as with any dealership you visit. YOU and I do mean YOU MUST know ALL your facts before coming to any dealership. This one is no better or worse than any others. It all depends on the car, the salesman, and the manager. Story be told I was fired for political reasons because they gave the commission to anther person after I made the sale so I told them that was unfair so Mike Porecca told me to leave. Robert Kibbler is THE man you want to see in Management. I believe he was, and is, a fair person in which to deal, as was Jason Cohen. I learned a lot during this time and when I buy cars now I always give the salesman a tip because sales staff are not treated well in this industry. I ALWAYS tried to be fair and treat the customers with the respect they deserved. I know people do not like dealing with Indian culture people, BUT I always treated them with respect and made the sale. I was number 2 sales person in the dealership until I got screwed my Mike, (who is no longer there). I wouldn't get my car serviced here even if it was FREE! I took it to get an oil change and two days later my car was leaking brake fluid. Was fine before this and I don't have many miles and car is 2016. I made an appt. to bring it in and it was like a zoo in there. They took so long to acknowledge me, mind you I had an appointment. (Other Honda's take you right away I never had to wait..ever!) anyways they finally took my car in and the next step was to see an advisor. Finally I saw an advisor available so I walked up to the counter and Juan turned around with his mouth full and said "I will call on you when I'm ready" are you serious? Just because you're eating at your desk and he looked so annoyed that I walked up to his desk because he decided to eat while there was so many customers there. That's what a break is for. So that was it for me. I told another advisor to get my car. That's how I get treated after they get a sale from me? But when I need service they treat u like crap. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from them ever. They ruined my car brakes and made them leak so much after the oil change because the technician there did something wrong! What type of technicians do you hire? If I was leaking brake fluid prior, wouldn't your "technician" know that during the multipoint inspection? We purchased a Honda CRV and the technology technician mix was equally as efficient and experienced. We highly recommend this dealership. After leasing or purchasing almost 11 vehicles from this location I think I've finally reached the point of no return. Last week I brought my car in to have new tires installed on my car (that I leased and purchased from DCH almost a decade ago). I was charged and they did a poor job. I had to come back. The second time they told me the tires couldn't be balanced as they were "defective". Good thing I only waited 8 hours between both visits for something they couldn't figure out the first time. Now I'm back again.... waiting. DCH no longer provides the quality customer service I once knew. Once this is done I'm taking all of my business elsewhere. read more

Had a major breakdown due to electrical issues on our Accord. We decided to take it to DCH Paramus Honda since it was the closest and most convenient to get the car towed to. They were thorough, I'll give them that. Basically the car needed three parts for which we were charged premium prices, around 3 times more than we paid for the same component at our normal mechanic. But it is what it is, the car needed to be repaired. To cut a long story short, they tried to add a whole bunch of other stuff which wasn't urgent and we received a very large bill. We negotiated only to pay for urgent work, which the Manager in charge didn't seem to like, which saved us about a grand. Either way the car was fixed and as we went to pick it up for a "no-contact pickup" due to Coronavirus, we found that someone who had parked the car in the Honda carpark, had pulled the handbrake so hard that it was vertical !!! It almost looked like it had been ripped out of the chassis. So we went to the service desk and were greeted by a very rude and combative staff member who said it was our fault. He seemed to know what had happened, and when I told him that it had to be the person from Honda who parked the car who did this, the staff member started raising his voice to me, at which I got a lot more combative and asked for a technician. By the time the Tech had got to the car I had managed to free the hand brake, and he was extremely apologetic. I got the feeling that maybe the handbrake was somehow a malicious gesture by the staff member who parked the car because we had argued the price. You can't put a handbrake in the position it was in without a heck of a lot of force, and that's why I believe it was malicious. The service desk staff member acted like an $%^%^^&* but from what I've read about other people's experiences with this business in the reviews, I'm not surprised. So a word of caution when dealing with this outfit. They can do a very thorough job, but some of the staff can be nasty and combative, while others can be extremely helpful and polite, I guess we were unlucky to get a nasty one. Also make sure you read what they're charging you for before you pay, because they tried to add a lot more stuff to the bill than was necessary. read more

We bought a brand new 2020 Honda CRV Hybrid at the end of October from DCH Honda as first time buyers. My salesperson, Ray, was kind and efficient during our in-person sales session, and the finance manager, Shadi was very professional, efficient, and does his job very well. Fast forward to end of November, I emailed Ray to ask for a status update on our permanent plates as our temporary ones were expiring. He asked to speak on the phone, and on the call he let me know things were delayed due to covid and that he'd email me the next day with an update. I emailed him the following week, asking for an update as I didn't hear back. He replied kindly apologizing, as he was out of the office for a few days and confirmed they arrived. I responded a week later asking if they could ship the plates to us, as we were quarantining prior to seeing family for the holiday, and he said no problem and that they were overnighting it. We got the plates in an envelope with nothing else in the package. No note, no email, no written communication about how we needed to get a separate physical inspection for NY State within 10 days of receiving the plates. Now, fast-forward to last week-- we were parked on the street of Brooklyn without seeing our car for a few days as we didn't need to use it for those days, and we got 3 tickets for not having our inspection sticker (1 for each day). I had no idea that a separate inspection for a brand new car had to be done in NY State, and it's something I would have absolutely expected the dealership to communicate to me, as we paid them to handle our registration and plates. I called the dealership to ask what happened. I spoke to a rather rude female receptionist who cut me off several times while I tried to explain what happened, and then said she'd speak to a manager who would call me back that day. Never received a call. Today (several days later) I called about this, spoke to Jordan who kindly tried to connect me to a manager, but he was busy with a customer and said he'd call back in 10-15 min. No call received. An hour later, I called them back and after several holds, I was put on the phone with a sales manager named Matt. I was so appalled by how this conversation went that I'm writing this review. I explained what happened, and my frustration with the lack of communication around something I would have expected from them. Matt was nothing but defensive, pushing all responsibility off the dealership, and his resolution was to say he'd have a training session with our salesperson to make sure that this information is communicated in the future to NY buyers and there was absolutely no way that I wasn't told this in person at the dealership. He said that the financial manager would have gone over this with me in person, and when I asked why I hadn't gotten any kind of written communication about the dates of need to get an inspection by or that I needed to at all, he kept doggedly insisting that there was no way that I wouldn't have been told this in person.... Even though he wasn't there, so how would he know? When discussing the multiple tickets, he haughtily asked if I expected the dealership to pay for them or the inspection-- and then asked why I had racked up 3 tickets and if I just ignored the notices, and kept insinuating that I would have seen tickets on our car and just shrugged them off. After I expressed how appalled I was at his attitude, the lack of apologies or any sort of acknowledgment that there should have been communication about this, he said this is why they prefer not to ship plates and they did that "as a courtesy at my request." The dodging of responsibility, deflection, defensiveness, and sheer attitude was quite astonishing. Guess this is the type of place with some people that only cares to be kind to get the sale done, and not care at all to take care of their customers with any respect afterward. read more

While shopping for a SUV for my wife, we stopped by to check the CRV. We really liked how it rode and handled but were just as impressed with the sales person, Paul Park, we worked with. We liked how he carried himself and appreciated his honesty and candor. While we chose another SUV, I returned back to Paul and DCH Honda when it came time to replace my 11-year-old sedan. After checking out a few options, I chose the Pilot. Paul made it seamless from start to finish. He answered my questions in a timely fashion and helped me navigate the different options of trim and financing. When it came time to sign and pick up the Pilot, he had everything ready for me so the wait was minimal. I can't say enough good things about him. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Never gonna buy another vehicle from them again. Purchased a CPO Pilot in December and when I purchased it the salesman's and I came to a verbal agreement about the dents and damages found on the vehicle that they agreed on fixing. Well sure enough the day after Christmas when I picked it up nothing was fixed to CPO standards so when I asked the Salesman's about the issues we discussed he got really defensive. He told me I had to make an appointment thru the service department to get it looked at. I have been back and forth a few times via email and receiving vague email responses from him, his manager finally reached out to me over a phone call and pretty much said if it's not written on paper go fly a kite. He had the car for 2 months and now we are saddled with a crazy expensive lease bill for the next 33 months and they are not willing to help. I've leased 2 cars from them in 2015 and 2018. Both cars had temperamental tire sensors. Twice I took the second car to them for the tire sensor light and they tried to sell me new tires. The sensor measures the pressure or is supposed. It's not supposed to measure the tread depth. Finally doing my own research online I got the light to go off and stay off. Despite my angst over the tire sensors, I decided to give them a try on a 3rd lease for my daughter in part because they are local to my home; not because they would be my first choice as a Honda Dealer given the run around with the sensor light. I was not ready to make a deal the same day but they take your keys on the trade in car and intentionally hang on to them so they can hold you at the desk as long as possible. It feels like being held against your will. I wanted the total price, residual, and lease factor. They came back with just the residual and lease factor leaving out the price despite me having asked. Now they know the items needed to calculate a lease so they should just give you everything even if you don't ask for everything. I did ask for everything but if they thought I was missing one of the necessary items they should have said, I think you also want the purchase price. They had to know when they gave me just the residual and lease factor that I needed more but they test your knowledge. It's very frustrating. So after I get everything I asked for including my keys, the salesman and finance manager are talking as I am walking past them towards the door so we get into a conversation. I say, I just want to put everything on my computer at home and check the rate (derived by multiplying the lease factor by 2400), the purchase price and the residual against what is available in the open market. He says the lease factor and residual can't be negotiated; it's illegal. That stopped me in my tracks. I said maybe it's your company policy not to negotiate those two items and that's your right but it's never illegal to negotiate or for me to ask them to negotiate. If it is illegal, then he was effectively saying that if I were to ask him for a better lease factor or lower residual that I would be asking him to break the law. I asked him if he understood what anti-trust is. He swore up and down that I should not be checking the lease factor or residual because it was illegal for him to alter them. Had he only said he was powerless to adjust them, I would have said ok but it was the word illegal that rubbed me the wrong way. Come on? The price of money, the price of a car and the buyback on a car are not fixed by law so neither he nor I would have been breaking any laws. read more

I don't trust this place. I came in with squeaky brakes, I came out with an estimate for $1200 worth of repairs. The customer rep was very pushy with me in trying to not let me take my car back so I could get another estimate (i.e. "its not safe", "you should just trade it in for a new car", etc....). I actually had to ask him "am I ALLOWED to have my car back!?". Took it to another shop, they lubricated the brakes for free, squeak gone, and said there we no other repairs needed at the time. WTF. I wrote a letter to Paramus Honda ownership and they gave me some line about preventative maintenance, offered to re-evaluate the car. I didn't ask for preventative maintenance, I wanted to fix my brakes. And that excuse wasn't consistent with how the service rep tried to make me scared to drive the car, like it was about to fall apart any second. 1 year later, my car is still running great with none of the repairs Paramus Honda recommended. I believe these guys are trying to take advantage of customers who are not car savvy. read more

I was in the market for a Honda Accord EXL V6. I did a ton of research and knew what the fair price was before heading into the dealership. After hearing very favorable reviews from friends I decided to go to Paramus Honda and ask for Stephen Berkowitz, the sales rep who helped them. After talking with him for a little while I knew I made the right decision. I went over what i was looking for and then he asked some follow up questions. He knew everything to know about all the models and what features. He then made some recommendations. I was amazed at his ability to listen and then with his vast knowledge make recommendations. We went for a test drive and then fell in love with the car. I told him that I had researched the car and had an idea on the price point. I asked him to not waste my my time and make me the best offer he could with haggling. He said he would be right back and then I was amazed at the deal he presented. Knowing the price others paid and all of the research I had done I quickly knew he did get me the best price for the car. I signed the paperwork and left with a huge smile on my face. It was hassle free and the best thing I did was to listen to my friends and ask for Stephen Berkowitz. Stephen was professional, he listened to my needs, was polite and I will never forget the experience. I bought my new accord from them recently. Car came with 85 miles. You would have no options. Manager is ok. However sales is pretty bad. I had to wait for 5 hours for paperwork. Sales guy was little faster than other people. However, their finance process is extrememly slow. Sales person was dumb and arrogant but quick. (Had a feeling that he came drunk at work) . They crack jokes on you and make you feel terrible. Finance manager lies with full confidence. Even when you catch his lies, he would cover it with other lie. read more

This is a review for the new sales department. I had a very pleasant experience buying my new accord here. I had an 03 accord that needed a new timing chain, and decided I would rather put the repair cost to a new car down payment. (The TL/DR is we had a truly painless and quick buying experience here.) I walked in on a Wednesday evening with my husband and parents. We were greeted by a very young sales associate, I think he might have been 19 or so. Anyway I had no clue what I wanted to look at, told him I liked my accord but wanted to consider other cars. Before selecting some models to test drive the salesperson walked us through the pros and cons of every car and small SUV, I was genuinely impressed by his knowledge of their inventory given his young age and prior bad experiences with other dealerships. On to test drives. We narrowed down to the CRV and Accord. He brought one of each around for me to compare at the same time, and allowed me to take 3 total drives (two on the accord one on the CRV). I ultimately decided I was most interested in the Accord EX and we went inside to discuss pricing. Negotiating the price of the car was mostly painless, the only issue was a manager had been helping another customer so we did wait a bit. We were firm on a specific price and finance deal, and the sales manager was honest that it was not possible for the model we wanted. However he came back and offered the 2015 LX for a very competitive price and gave us the exact finance offer we requested. No trying to convince us that we had to have a higher interest rate, no pushing a more expensive model, no pushing upgrades, no shady business at all! After that I just had to pick a color, and again the sales person brought around 2 cars for me to compare - he probably went back and forth to their lot 7-8 times for me (which is down the block from the showroom.) Once I chose we completed the paperwork effortlessly, got a complete walk around of the vehicle again, and he even set up the Bluetooth with our phones before we left. I think we spent 3-4 total hours at the dealership. Most of that time was me driving and looking at models. I also received several follow ups from my sales person and Honda customer service to ensure I was happy with my purchase. I would recommend DCH Paramus Honda to anyone in the market for a new Honda. read more

The horrifyingly poor customer service and service department treatment should stop anyone from buying at this Honda dealership. Their total lack of respect or concern for customers is unparalleled and should actually be addressed by Honda corporate. Upon delivery of my new car, no features were explained, nobody walked me through all the compartments, buttons, signals-- it was like picking up a car from an airport rental counter. The dealer-installed radio and nav system have given us trouble regularly since we bought the vehicle five months ago, to the point where the component had to be replaced. In the process of taking out the old stereo system, the service guy damaged the dash. And the unit now squeaks whenever we hit any kind of bump in the road, including manhole covers. Honda said they'd take a look at it but would need the car for half a day-- and we would have to pay Enterprise rental for a loaner vehicle. Which isn't how the sales woman explained the loaner system when she was getting us to buy the CR-V. DCH Honda will say anything to make a sale, but treat you like an annoying gnat once yo've signed on the dotted line. A Honda is a Honda-- but it's the service that makes a difference in where you buy it. Something to think about before you plop down tens of thousands of dollars. read more

I got an appointment for just an oil change,11/7 at 3:15pm. I arrived at their new service building 20 minutes earlier than my appointment. my van was brought in immediately. i went to the customer lounge and read my book, realizing that 2 hours has past i walked out and saw my van just sitting there. i spoke with one service agent and asked about the status and told me "if its there at the bay then its not done yet". right now it's 5:28, and nobody has done anything after 2 hours! that's what express oil change means here. better find another service center if you are looking for the real meaning of the word EXPRESS read more

I did all of my research to buy through the Costco buying program. I walked in with the details exactly the car I wanted. I confirmed via phone that they had plenty of options in all colors, interior colors, etc. and told them know when I would be there. I arrived at 5:40 when I had told them I would be there by 5:45. I didn't drive away until 8:43. It was an absolute fiasco. It literally took a full 3 hours to buy a car. 3 hours. This was by far the worst car buying experience I have ever had. Under no circumstances would I recommend buying from this particular dealership. I was looking around wondering if somebody was going to pop out with a video camera saying it was all for TV or something. To make it even worse the jerk sales "manager" never even returned my Costco card. I forgot to ask again because ... well, 3 hours. Literally laughing out loud at the response. I guess "hassle free" is an angle on sitting by myself for hours without information but hassle free in this case is not the same as enjoyable or something I would want to repeat. NOBODY that isn't involved with that business would think 3 hours to buy a car when you walk in with the exact model that is in stock is reasonable in any way. read more

Took my 2010 Odessey to DCH to diagnose and fix a parasitic electrical problem which cause car to drain battery if car sat for more than one night. Did they fix it .. NO ... instead they stated that battery cable had to be replaced for over$500 before they could further diagnose . Even worse they sent estimate for other work I didn't ask for for over $5500 on a car with blue book value of only $4000. When explained to service rep wasn't paying $500 to replace cable which online cost about $150, said I wanted to pick up car told had to wait while they put wheels back on because they were inspecting brakes .. didn't ask them to do that. So I paid $180 diagnostic fee to get NOTHING . So if your looking to get duped to pay thousands of dollars for what your didn't ask for I guess this is your dealership. I've brought 3 vehicles including the Odessey from them but will never give them another penny of my money. read more

4 stars for the service department. *GASP* I know, it's freakin' crazy but my experience here went so smoothly and the estimated time to diagnose and fix my car was on point. A generous discount thrown in by Bryan also put a pep in my step when I left. Here goes another man post: My car started to make a really, really disturbing and annoying whining sound whenever I accelerated. Similar to an infant's cry when s/he wants something but can't verbally tell you what. I've put on 70k in mileage so I knew that it was normal wear and tear. I went on my car forum (8thcivic.com) to figure out if anyone else had the same issue and what it was so I wouldn't be duped by the dealership simply because I'm a girl. I had an inkling it was my idler pulley going bad so after about a month of procrastinating and pulling my hair out every time I heard the whining sound, I finally made an appointment to bring my car in. Another plus about this dealership, if you're not disgustingly hung over from going out Friday night, is that their service department opens at 7:30 AM on Saturdays. They have valet service that whisks your car away once you arrive. I came in, spoke to Bryan about the issue I was experiencing and he let me know that it would take about an hour to diagnose. If you don't have someone to pick you up, they have a complimentary shuttle bus that will drive you anywhere within 10 miles of the dealership. If you don't live within 10 miles, you can be dropped off at the Garden State Plaza Mall to do some shopping, people watching, stalking, etc. I opted to stay in the waiting area where they have comfy sofa chairs, vending machines, complimentary coffee and a flat screen TV. Within the hour, Bryan came over to me and told me that the issue was indeed the idler pulley being worn out. He then told me if I wanted to fix it now, the total cost of the part plus labor would be $180. The tricky part is, if you decide not to get your car fixed here, they charge you a diagnosing fee of around $100. If you do, they waive it. So, I decided to get it fixed. After 20-30 minutes went by, Bryan let me know my car was done and that he was able to give me a discount on labor so my final cost came to $150. Normally, I don't like to associate myself with dealerships as they have a bad rep and I've heard horror stories, but I'm more than likely to return here to get other work done if I can't do it myself. Had a great, fast experience. Called in with a great out-the-door price from another dealership and Andres at DCH was able to beat it with a significantly better, more competitive offer. Arrived at the dealership on Black Friday and things went pretty smoothly from there. Jovany took care of everything and Matt clearly explained the various tech and safety features. Do not go to get your car serviced here. First of all the do not offer a loaner program. That should be stated when scheduling a service appointment there. Secondly the offer a shuttle service that does not show up upon the time it was supposed too. After waiting for over an hour with absolutely no answer they advised me that this service is complementary and they will show up when they can. No call prior. No one knows where they driver's are. When you call to find out any information the phone call is dropped by the representative. Go anywhere but here!!!! This is my first and last time getting my car serviced at the dealership. I will not be leasing or buying another car from here again and I suggest you don't either. read more

I first began my search by getting a price quote from their internet sales dept and was promptly responded to by Theresa Rosen. She gave a great price from the get go and emailed me a clear breakdown of the total costs; no hidden fees! She then referred me to the sales manager, Shadi Saadeh, who I set up an appointment time with, and upon arrival, I was introduced to one of his sales reps, David Kim. David was extremely patient, not pushy at all, and an absolute pleasure to work with. The buying process was completely seamless and quick; the financing paperwork definitely took a bit more time than I expected, but it was a busy Saturday afternoon. my son in law brought in his car with under 50,000 miles for an oil change, he left with an $900 dollar bill to change his transmission fluid break fluid antifreeze oil change and various filters. shame on you paramus honda for taking advantage of a 20 year old college kid. i have had cars with well over 100,000 miles and have not changed the break fluid or antifreeze the car was not over heating and had no problems at all. the only problem here was you thieves exploiting unknowing unsuspecting customers. shame on all of you. alan hame read more

I went to DCH Honda in Paramus to buy a car. They offered a $25 reward for visiting and test driving one of their cars. I did the test drive and gave them the $25 certificate for them to validate. Note: I would give 5 stars but no one believes a 5 star review I recently leased an accord from Paramas. Totally painless. Frank Jones did a complete email/telephone correspondence with me and never pushed me to come in to work things out (who has time to sit in a dealership and get jerked around). He was straightforward and honest. They provided me with a deal which was unbeatable (many other deals hips said it was too good to be true). His manager Jason Cohen addressed all of my paranoid concerns and spelled everything out. I went to see the car that was promised and sign the lease papers. Lenny Ramos the actual floor dealer was attentive and informative. He took me for an additional test drive to insure that the specific car I was taking home was perfect. He even programmed the Bluetooth and showed me all of the cars gadgets. The paperwork was drafted and finalized and THERE WERE NO SURPRISES. No back and forth. I was waiting for some slight of hand or shiftiness (they are car dealers after all) and there was nothing. I left surprisingly satisfied knowing I got a fair deal and was able to enjoy my ride home. Take home message: if you are looking for an easy paced, not pushy, attentive car dealership look at Paramus. If you are a sadist, you should look elsewhere but are probably better off saving your money for therapy. read more

I am very unhappy with my recent experience. The hinge of the gas cap on my car became loose and eventually snapped off. I went to Honda on February 3 to order the part and the greeters were very rude. They did not say hello to me but spoke to each other in another language. I felt very uncomfortable and unsure of what was going on. It felt funny to leave my car with someone I couldn't communicate with. I purchased my Element when I was 18 so my aunt co-signed. For some reason my car had all of my aunt's information on file instead of mine. I explained multiple times the information was wrong and gave my right information. It was not updated because my aunt's house phone number was called when the part came in. She was out of town so I did not get the message until over a week later. I was told not to tape the gas cap in place because the part would only take "4 to 5 days" to come in. The gas cap hung down and deeply scratched the paint on my car. I could not get another service appointment until the 23rd. When I went back I was repeatedly referred to as my aunt even though I corrected the service manager with my name. I wait an hour to find out the part ordered was the wrong color. I was fed up with waiting and offered to use the part for a discounted price. I waited another hour to find out they ordered the cap but not the hinge. I would have to continue waiting until it came in. No response was given to getting the scratches buffed out. The gas cap was taken off to prevent even more scratches, but why wasn't that done the first time? I finally got a phone call to the right number and returned on March 8th. The cap was replaced with the right color but the greeters still did not talk to me or speak in English. The "discount" I was promised was $7.50 off labor and $14.45 off parts. I do not feel this whole adventure was worth the end price of $211.41. I will not be coming back to this Honda service center. read more

I bought a car back in March of this year, I noticed something with the breaks when I was first checking out the car and specifically asked the salesman about what was going on with them. He assured me they were checked out and were just a little rusty from sitting and if I drove it around they would get better. Rotors were rusted and within a few weeks of buying the car the calipers seized. Needless to say I had brought the car in and had to spend 3 separate days sitting in the dealership for 8+ hours each day while they "fixed" it. I came in for an oil change today and the gasket on the axle (which is completely rusted by itself) needs to be replaced for another $500. I've had the car less than 8 months and it's one thing after the next. I'm sitting here again today and I'm expecting another 8 hour wait. I'm seriously regretting purchasing a car from here. read more
